Entrance Song “The Rose” - Bette Midler Welcome and introduction
Service held at the Martinborough Golf Club, on Friday 30th October 2015 at 1.00pm followed by private cremation Celebrant: Jan Pryor Entrance Song “The Rose” - Bette Midler Welcome and introduction IF TOMORROW STARTS WITHOUT YOU… If tomorrow starts without you, and you’re not there to see If the sun should rise and find my eyes are filled with tears for you. I wish so much I wouldn’t cry, the way I did today While thinking of the many things, we didn’t get to say. You know how much I love you, as much as you love me And each time that I think of you, I know I’ll miss you too. But when tomorrow starts without you, please try to understand That an angel came and called your name and took you by the hand. And said your place was ready, in heaven far above And that you’d have to leave behind, all those you dearly love. Reading Carrie But as you turned to walk away, a tear fell from your eye For all your life you’d always thought you didn’t want to die. Reading Ashley You had so much to live for, so much left to do It seemed almost impossible that you were leaving me. Photo Tribute “Cracklin Rosie” - Neil Diamond Readings Grandchildren Time for reflection “I love you truly” “When your hair has turned to silver” -Perry Como Reading Reading Lynda Murphy Geoff Curtis Blessing and Farewell Recessional “Time to say Goodbye” -Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman You thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad You thought of all that we shared and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while I’d say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never do For emptiness and memories, would take the place of you. And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss some tomorrow I thought of you and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. But when you walk through heavens gates you’ll feel so much at home When God looks down and smiles at you, from his golden throne. He’ll say “This is eternity, and all I’ve promised you Today your life on earth is past, but here life starts anew. I promise no tomorrow but today will always last And since each day is the same way, there’s no longing for the past. So when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart For every time I think of you, you’re right here in my heart. Rosemary I love you.
