Description
The ha 1000 surpasses all wet-dry extractors when it comes to suction power of wood dust in the workshop in spite of it being
the smallest and most cost-efficient unit in our range of extractors. Through its compact design it is portable and can be used
anywhere.
HPLV = High Pressure Low Volume System
HPLV extractors move less air at a much higher pressure. Operating more like a standard vacuum cleaner, they are better
adapted for continuous use and have a much bigger waste storage capacity than domestic cleaners. They can usually collect
dust down to 0.5 - 1 microns and are better suited for enclosed areas where the air is constantly recycled as in the home
workshop. The most portable are the canister type with 100mm hose or vacuum cleaner type with small-bore hose, featuring a
powerful through-flow motor surrounded by a cardboard filter which is then covered by a paper filter bag; this gives two levels
of filtration. The other major advantage of using HPLV extraction systems that the high pressure low volume makes it very
efficient at removing fine dust waste such from Bandsaws, Sandblasters, Scroll Saws, Sanders, and Power Tools etc, As this
system allows you to reduce the intake hose from 100mm to 32mm without losing too much efficiency.
