My clothing is the first thing you will see within
my presence, this is why this section comes
first, I am exploring where the influence
to what I chose to wear comes from. This
section is important to me as if it feels to me
like I get to control my own identity.
Music is a big part of my life, I feel that it
influences a lot of decisions I make and
a lot of things I do as well as what I wear.
Here I am going to be looking into what

Here you will find the selection of colours
within the clothing I currently own and
regularly wear, each block of colour
represents a single item of clothing I
physically own, so one block could represent
a t-shit or a pair of shoes. Also you will find the
price tags of what I have paid in total for each
section as well as the amount of money spent
by each influence, this reason for this is to
find out what I am predominantly influenced
by when it comes to choosing what I wear.

STATISTICS
I think from being a designer, when I get
changed in the morning I am very conscious
about what colours I wear together, colour
combinations are important to me and I
usually go for a base colour and a secondary
colour throughout my whole person. Here
are some examples of some of my favourite
combinations, including a hoodie/jacket, two
t-shirts, jeans, shoes and a hat.
Depending on the day and how I feel when I
get changed in the morning, my style changes
with the mood I’m in, the music I’m listening
to and where I’m going. With this in mind,
not only the colours of the clothing I wear
changes but the sizes of the clothes to fit the
mood I’m in. This shows the amount of each
size I wear indicated by the purple numbers.
Here is the visual for my listening over the
past 12 months, each blue bar represents
the amount of times I listened to the most
listened to artist that week, in each vertical
bar, the purple number represents each
week of total tracks played which builds up
the full grey bar which is the total amount of
tracks played within that month, notified by
the grey number.
This shows my listening within the last 12
months but this shows the order and play
counts of my top played artists, the grey in
the background shows this visually with the
writing giving the exact numbers.
Statistics of my music collection, this basically
shows how much music I own. I listen to
music while I partake in the other sections
of my life, it influences me hugely so a big
collection is needed.

go, what I listen to, what I watch and I feel in
the long run, it influences my design work very
heavily. In this section I am going to show the
places I have been, injuries I have sustained
and things that have happened to me just
because of rollerblading.
LINKING WITH MUSIC
PLACES IT’S TAKEN ME
MONEY SPENT
Rollerblading and music have a very deep
link, I think this because they both influence
each other in many different ways, so here
I have shown the way that rollerblading
influences the music I listen to, this shows
the DVD, the rollerblader, then the amount of
times I have listened to that particular artist
and particular song from that DVD.
As it is such a big part of my life, it has taken
to many different places I would never of
been before without it. This shows all the
places I have travelled to just to rollerblade.
The black indicates that I went purely for a
skatepark and cyan indicates places abroad.
Here is where I will break down what I have
spent on rollerblading over the 9 years I have
been doing it, this excludes money spent on
travel and clothing.

INJURIES
With being involved with a high action
sport, comes injuries and pain. I have been
relatively lucky having rollerbladed for so long
and having sustained such few major injuries.

Rollerblading is important to me as it is
a way of expressing myself, which not
everybody understands. Again like music
a lot of my influence for my rollerblading
comes from my general tastes and my
life, shown in the tricks I do.
DESIGN
Design is a passion of mine, like
rollerlading its a way to express myself,
but in a different way. I have listed this
last, not because its less important but
because I feel this is what the rest lead
up to. Design is the output and release for
everything else.

and websites I see all the time because of

Influence comes from many places but I
feel rollerblading does have a big impact
on this as songs from rollerblading videos
always stick in my head as it doesn’t just
leave me visualizing the lyrics but the
tricks I had seen previously.

my style, it changes my thoughts and it
changes my moods depending on what
I’m listening to. Obviously what I listen to
isn’t influenced by certain things but a lot
of its influence comes from the timeline
at the bottom and my general life, things
such as my up bringing and my parents
