Airlie Beach township is walking distance from the Port of Airlie (see
map below). Cruise Whitsundays vessels depart at regular intervals from
the major island resorts and arrive at the Port of Airlie, please check the
timetable for details.
• Airlie Beach is small and easy to find your way around with the town
stretching along one main street and the foreshore park behind
the shops.
• Spend a relaxing day in the resort town. The main street has numerous
outlets, boutiques and shops.
• A diverse range of cafes, bars, restaurants and takeaways. From seafood
and sushi to mexican and mediterranean.
• Saturday is Market Day in Airlie Beach with an interesting variety of stalls
(7am to 1pm). Maybe a relaxing massage?

WHITSUNDAY CROCODILE SAFARI
An exciting, unique encounter with crocs in the wild!
You cannot go past the crocodile safari on the
Proserpine River.
This particular stretch of river has the highest concentration of saltwater
crocodiles on the east coast of Australia so you’re almost guaranteed to see
them. Salties are rated as the most dangerous crocodiles in the world and
about 150 of them live in this river and its environs.
You’ll enjoy a scenic cruise to the mainland where your coach will await
you for the 40 minute drive through cane and bush lands. On arrival at the
campsite beside the river you will be greeted by your friendly ranger guide.
The timing of the cruise on the river varies, operating at low tide so you can
be sure to see the crocs on the mud banks. The cruise is in a large flat bottom
vessel offering plenty of security and great viewing of the awesome crocs.
You will get up close so don’t forget the camera!
On the other half of the tour you will
enjoy a trip on an open air tractor train
through the spectacular Goorganga
Wetlands. Your guide is an expert on
the local flora and fauna – wetland
birds, wallabies and maybe even a
snake or two. A delicious barbecue
lunch is included and at afternoon
tea time you will sample some
traditional tucker – billy tea and damper.
There is a maximum of 31 passengers per trip so your comfort and individual
attention on the tour is assured. This is a unique wildlife experience being
able to see all of these amazing animals in their natural habitat in the wild.

Our high speed vessels cruise around the Whitsundays all day transferring
guests and day trippers. If you would like to do your own thing then arm
yourself with an Island Hopper Pass, a timetable and a map then set out
exploring the Island Resorts and Airlie Beach on your very own itinerary.
To maximise your time in the islands and in particular if you want to visit
multiple resorts you will need to carefully plan and take a look through our
brochure and timetable for all information. If you would like a more detailed
information guide for any particular island resort our crew have these
onboard plus they’ll be able to advise you on the best things to see and do.

and cafes in Airlie Beach, and every Saturday
is market day. You can also enjoy the stroll
along past the Lagoon and on further to
enjoy the coastal boardwalk.
After your morning in Airlie take the half hour
cruise across to Daydream to enjoy the many
attractions of this island resort. The Living
Reef Lagoon is a highlight and a taste of the
real Great Barrier Reef. For full details on what there is to see and do on

Choose your lunch spot at one of the many places in Airlie or dine on
Daydream Island (lunch not included in the ticket price).
Cruise on back to Hamilton Island on the top deck taking in the sea air with

Daydream Island Resort and Spa, one of the premier
resorts in the Whitsunday Islands
Come and enjoy the many attractions of this fantastic island. Daydream
Village at the southern end of the island has been especially developed with
day visitors in mind however guests are free to explore the whole resort.
The village is set around the swimming pool at the southern end, and there is
a bakery, watersports shop, a round at the ‘Around Australia in 19 holes’ mini
golf course, a souvenir boutique, tennis courts and a children’s playground.
At the Northern end is the amazing Living Reef Lagoon filled with colourful
coral and fish life. The sharks and stingrays cruise the lagoon and get very
friendly at the 10am feeding.
There are lots of places to laze away the day - by the pool, on the lawns or
adjacent beach. Take a swim, stroll along Sunset Beach or see wallabies and
endless bird-life on the rainforest walk.
At lunchtime you can make your own selection from ‘The Boathouse’ at the
southern end or you can wander along to the resort area and enjoy the a la
carte lunch at Mermaid’s Restaurant.

The Boathouse is a Bakery in Daydream Village with a range of sandwiches
and rolls etc. Vouchers are provided to the value of Adults $20 and Children
$10. This allows you to make your own selection up to that value.

The informative commentary on the history of the Whitsundays provides an
insight to this beautiful region. The tour gives you plenty of time on the beach
to soak up the sunshine, wade in the shallows of the crystal clear water, build
sandcastles and take plenty of pictures of the stunning beach. Morning or
afternoon tea is served on board the cruise.
Please note: The half day cruise visits the main 7km stretch of Whitehaven
Beach. If you wish to include the Hill Inlet walk, or spend any time at the
northern end of the beach, please book the ‘Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet
& Lookout’ full day exploring cruise.
No other day cruise allows you so much time to explore the wonders of
Whitehaven Beach from the southern end of the beach where you can swim,
sunbathe and wallow in the crystal clear waters and a cruise up the length of the
beach to the northern end exploring spectacular Hill Inlet and the breathtaking
lookout. If sea conditions permit, the crew will cross to a nearby island that is
delightfully scenic and rarely visited, there you can snorkel at a beautiful reef.
A convenient picnic lunch pack allows you to enjoy your lunch at leisure.
Afternoon tea is included on the cruise from Whitehaven Beach. Not just any
old day at the beach, this is a truly amazing exploration of all that one of the
world’s best beaches has to offer!

2. Cruise Whitsundays Pty Ltd reserves the right to alter prices, apply
a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport,
itineraries and services when necessary.
3.In the interest of passenger safety departures, itineraries and
activities are subject to sea and weather conditions. Should the
company be forced to cancel or alter cruises our liability is limited
to offering an alternative or an appropriate refund no greater than
the fare paid. Cruise Whitsundays is not responsible for missed
flights due to late arrival at airline check-in counter.
4. The company shall not be held responsible for any property loss
or damage and/or any claim resulting from personal injury or
death arising whilst travelling with the company, participating in
activities, on the vessel or pontoon or other company property.
This disclaimer applies irrespective of the cause.
5.Where another company or persons operate the service such
as diving and helicopter flights or shore transfers, Cruise
Whitsundays is acting only as a Sales Agent. Responsibility and
liability for the operation lies with that operator.
6. All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST.
7. Children’s fare – 4 to 14 years inclusive. Infants under 4 years no
charge however infant meals are not included and should be paid
direct to the resort. Please advise at time of booking when an
infant is travelling.
8.Cancellation fees – No show and 24 hours or less notice
cancellation fee is 100%. 24 to 48 hours notice 50% of fare.
Transfer to another Cruise Whitsundays cruise no fee.
9. For credit card payments a 1.5% fee applies to Visa and
Mastercard transactions, and a 2.8% fee applies to Diners and
Amex transactions.
10.Travel is subject to our Conditions of Carriage. A copy is held in our
