Come on board for your cruise though the magnificent
Whitsunday Islands – destination Hamilton Island...
a day out for the family that will be a highlight
of your holiday.
As you cruise into the marina you’ll see the island before you. Make your
own way to the free Hamilton Island Shuttle buses; there’s no better way
to see the island’s highlights and get your bearings from the spectacular
scenic lookout points.
Next stop is where the real fun begins with a visit to WILD LIFE Hamilton
Island. Enjoy the guided tour (10:00am and 4:00pm daily) or wander
through the unique Australian sanctuary at your leisure and be introduced
to the local koalas, kangaroos, birds, creepy-crawlies, snakes and lizards
and even the giant resident crocodile. On the guided tours you will learn
all about the creatures you meet. Fancy a photograph holding a koala or
python?
After lunch wander down to the Hamilton Island Resort Centre for an hour
of Island Bowling. Kegel 9-pin bowling is great fun for all of the family with
up to six players participating.
This afternoon you can choose from the many activities on offer or just laze
beside the pool or on Catseye Beach. Catch the Island Shuttle back to the
Marina Village where you’ll have time to wander the waterfront taking in
the sights and maybe do some shopping.
Now of course if you don’t have children and would still like to do this great
trip you can – borrow some kids or just pay the adult prices!

Feel like getting the adrenalin pumping and experiencing
Hamilton Island in a very unique way all at the same

Your cruise across to Hamilton Island Marina will be the more sedate
part of your day. Once on the island you are going to enjoy two awesome
activities both included in your ticket price.
First up you get to test your skill on the Palm Valley Go Kart racetrack. This
challenging 9 turn track uses the latest in computer controller lap timing
allowing you to race your mates and race the clock. There are tandem karts
available for families.
Next up is the 30 minute thrill ride on Jetryder – a hulking jet boat that
twists, turns and fishtails with amazing power.

Breakfast with Koalas, explore secluded sandy coves,
conquer the climb up Passage Peak and enjoy the best
views in the Whitsundays…
We cruise through the Whitsunday Passage, Daydream and the Molles to arrive
at the magnificent Hamilton Island Marina. Breakfast is at the WILD LIFE Park
with Australian native koalas. From here explore Hamilton Island on foot to see
its natural beauty. You can choose between three stunning walks, taking your
packed lunch to enjoy with a view, or return for a delicious feast at the Marina
Tavern. It’s all at your own pace so you can take in the scenery and serenity.
Passage Peak is a 90 minute spectacular but challenging walk, but once you reach
the top it’s all worth it with an awe-inspiring view of the Whitsundays from the highest
vantage point.
South East Head Trail is 120 minutes of a real Aussie Bushwalk. Starting with dense
bush it gives way to exposed rocky features and sharp cliffs. You’ll see abundant native
grasstrees and incredible views of the Lindeman group of islands.
One Tree Hill is a 20 minute walk uphill and is a favourite spot for the locals with
amazing iconic views through the Whitsunday Passage.

GOLF CLUB EXPERIENCE
The only 18-hole championship golf course on its own
island in Australia, the Hamilton Island Golf Club
has some of the most spectacular views and settings
of any golf course in the world. The course was designed by champion golfer, Peter Thomson, and is
located on neighbouring Dent Island. The photographs say it all – 360°
breathtaking views stretching across the Whitsundays from nearly every
hole on the course!
Enjoy the scenic cruise across to Hamilton Island and then catch the
links transfer vessel for the 10 minute hop across to Dent Island. Green
fees for 18 holes plus the shared use of an electric golf buggy fitted with
a GPS rangefinder are included.
After the round enjoy a few drinks, snacks or a
long lunch in the superbly located Clubhouse with
its magnificent views out over the Whitsundays.
The stunning Chris Beckingham designed
Clubhouse is ideally perched to catch the soft
sea breeze and to take in the stunning views of
Passage Peak and the sparkling Coral Sea.
The Clubhouse offers a stylishly relaxed restaurant
and bar that is perfect for a laid back long lunch.
The menu takes a relaxed approach to cuisine and
draws on the best of seasonal produce available.
Also housed in the Clubhouse is a well stocked pro shop and ladies and
mens locker rooms including showers.

increases however will not be apply to paid bookings. Cancel
departures, arrange alternative transport, itineraries and services
when necessary.
3. In the interest of passenger safety departures, itineraries and
activities are subject to sea and weather conditions. Should the
company be forced to cancel or alter cruises our liability is limited
to offering an alternative or an appropriate refund no greater than
the fare paid. Cruise Whitsundays is not responsible for missed
flights due to late arrival at airline check-in counter.
4.The company shall not be held responsible for any property loss
or damage and/or any claim resulting from personal injury or
death arising whilst travelling with the company, participating in
activities, on the vessel or pontoon or other company property.
