A YEAR OF CARDS: How would you like to have a night
or day out with the “girls” and learn techniques to make
WOW cards to send to everyone? Raelene wants you to
have that “girl time!” She will guide you while making
cards every month, throughout the year, for you to send
to your friends & family. You will use stamps, inks &
mists, as well as the latest and greatest products that
arrive throughout the year to make two each of four
different cards, for a total of 8 cards! We will stay
ahead of the seasons, making cards each month for
upcoming events and holidays. Get on board and sign up
for each month so that you don’t miss out on the fun!

COPICS-THE BASICS: In this class we will share with
you our experience and knowledge of Copic Markers.
Why are they different? How do you buy them? What
colors should I choose? We will work together to

markers and tips and tricks tutorials. Discover the world

COPICS-THE NEXT LEVEL:
Now that you have
completed THE BASICS Copic class, join us while we
take your knowledge of Copic Markers to the next level.
We will learn to color skin and hair, as well as jeans and
clothing types. You will learn about shadows and light
source too. How to color monochromatic, fur and shiny
objects will be discussed. So much information!! After
this class, you will feel more confident in the use of your
markers. We hope that you will continue to practice

new color combinations and techniques to advance your
skills.
OFF THE PAGE: In this class we will create an amazing
project that is NOT a scrapbook page or card, but that
utilizes paper crafting and stamping materials! See
below for class details.
Q Join Tammy in creating a fun project with Kaisers
wooden word: Live Laugh Love. We will be using some
fun painting techniques, adding a little modeling
pastes and stencils to make this a unique art piece for
your home. We will finish off our project with a few
flowers, metal items and ribbons of your choice to
make this special for you. You will be sure to pick up
some new ideas and techniques and have fun doing it!

TECHNIQUE TUESDAY: I'd like to invite you to a brand
new class taught by me…Tammy!
It’s a monthly
technique class in which we will be making a desk
calendar with a unique technique or product
specifically for each months theme and the cost is $12.
Think our old T.A.G class but on a mini calendar. We
will begin this class in December so that you will be
ready for January 2016.
The project measures
4.5”x5.25,” so it’s great for card makers and crafters
alike! A one time cost of $5 for your calendar kit
includes your monthly calendar pages and the stand in
which to place them. But it is not necessary to purchase
the kit to attend the classes. Each month’s projects are
change-able with velcro dots and can be used for many
years with new calendar pages. You don't have to
commit to all twelve classes, just call us if you are
interested in that month’s class...we'd be happy to have
you! The basics we ask you to bring to class are: scissors,
wet & dry adhesive, foam dots & sticky dots.

WORLD’S FAIR EASEL BOX: Come join Carol for this
awesome class using the World’s Fair Collection from
Graphic 45. She’ll help you transform this regular
12x12 scrapbook paper into a work of art. The top of

largest of the hot air balloons. The bottom of the box
has a little drawer to hold all of your most precious

and how to journal and brainstorm creative

that finishing touch on your pages.

SILHOUETTE CAMEO BEGINNER CLASS: The Silhouette SD and Cameo
digital craft cutters are perfect for cutting shapes and letters to use on
your scrapbook pages, cards, and more! The QuicKutz Silhouette SD
machine requires a PC with Windows 2000 (or higher) OR a Mac. Via
the internet you get instant access to a huge digital design collection. The
Silhouette SD and Cameo machines allow you to cut any TrueType font
on your computer, create your own designs, and cut clip art already on
your computer. Plus, you can use a variety of mediums with your
Silhouette machine, including cardstock, patterned paper, magnetic

something in January. If you have been reading my column in the
newsletter these past two months you know that we have received the
two newest machines that Silhouette has to offer, the Curio and the Mint.
The Curio cuts thicker materials, embosses, de-bosses, stipples and
etches. The Mint is your own personal stamp making machine. If you
would like to see these machines in action, see what they can do and
learn a little about these new machines, come to our informational class
so that you can make an informed purchasing decision. $10
SILHOUETTE PROJECT CLASS: Everyone has been asking me to do a class

Pittsburgh Festival

Festival has been combined with the Creative Paper Arts
Festival and will be a combined show in Pittsburgh at the

I know many of you are just itching to use some of

Amy and I just got back from the
Craft and Hobby Show in Anaheim
California and we can’t wait to share
all we saw! While we cant bring you
the southern California weather, we
are going to bring you a mini trade
show right here in the store! New tools, paper
lines,mixed media and card making supplies are just a
few of the latest and greatest things we want to share
with you. Amy and I are working hard to bring you
the true atmosphere of the show with all of the little
details and I truly think this is going to be so exciting
and fun. It’s all hands on deck for the trade show..that
means everybody will be working, including some
familiar faces from the past. I hope to see you there!

Ok... Hard to believe, but I have found
another obsession! New to the store
are Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
When I first heard of "a new marker"
on the market, I thought “what could
be so different about them?” I have the
“complete set syndrome” where I feel I
have to have it all! So, would these be so different from
my almost-complete Copic collection, my completed
collections of LePlume Marvy, Distress, ect.? The
answer is YES!!! These markers are very different! They
are a dye-based water marker( which Copic markers
are alcohol based-so can’t be compared) that have a
true bristle brush tip which really makes them unique.
The color palette is awesome! Such a variety of pastels
and brights! We carry them in sets of 12, 36, 48 and
60. The brush tip can be used for making very small
strokes or wide broad strokes. You can use water or not
when blending with these, and also use them with
many different techniques. They are so consistent with
their application. It’s more like painting than coloring.
One thing is a must...use watercolor paper for best
results. If you struggle with water coloring, please give
these a try. They are so easy to use! I love them, and
you will too! Happy Stamping!!!
Carta Bella has just released a beautiful collection
dedicated to the ones you love. Introducing Amour,
a sophisticated line of vintage Paris inspired prints
and graphics. I fell in love with the soft blues,
pretty pinks, rich reds and
bold blacks found in the
papers and stickers. We also
h ave m a t ch i ng s t a m p s
including my favorite, the
Eiffel Tower. This collection
screams romance and is
perfect for Valentines Day. I
know you will L-O-V-E it.

Holy Cow!!! We just received 18, count ‘em 18,
new coloring books for adults. Coloring is the
newest craze, everyone’s doing it. If you’re stressed
coloring is a good way to relax. We have the new
Kaiser line of coloring books, The Official
Outlander Coloring Book, and Mandala Meditation
book just to name a few. Also, Crayola came out
with their own line of grown up coloring books and
we have those as well. And if you need pencils or
markers, well, we have those too. We have the
Faber Castell colored pencils
and Prima colored pencils.
Our newest lines of markers,
the Chameleon pens, the new
Clean Color pens from Zig
and the Marvy LePlumes. If
you need help using any of
these markers, we will be
happy to help you out. Stop

Oh my gosh!!! Have you seen

albums. They are leather bound 12”x12” albums with

I don't know about you, but I already have Spring Fever! And
now with two great new lines from My Mind's Eye, Happy
Camper and By The Sea, I'm even more anxious for the great
outdoors. Each line features a multitude of embellishments ...

even wood veneer pieces just to
name a few. By The Sea is made up
of the traditional red, white, and

Glitter, Glitter and more Glitter paper! American Crafts has
come out with a giant line of glitter paper and we have it here
at the store!! There are colors you would expect such as Gold,
Silver, Rust, White and Charcoal. In blues there are Cascade,
Marine, Peacock, Powder and Aqua. The pinks cover; Cotton
Candy, Lip Gloss, and Blush all the way through to Mulberry.
Pomegranate, Rouge and Crimson are the reds with Emerald,
Leaf, Evergreen and Cricket for
the greens. Other colors include
Sunflower, Mint, Orange and
Lavender. There is also a full line
of DuoTone glitter papers in in a
full spectrum of colors also.
These DuoTones have larger
glitter chunks and appear almost
dimensional. So, come get your
bling on with our new glitter
papers!

Stamp A Stack
Who doesn’t love sending, or more importantly, receiving a
handmade card? Join us for a day full of creativity and fun
using all the latest stamping products to make handmade
greeting cards. You will be making four simple and easy
cards...two of each...for a total of eight...to have on hand for
that special occasion. All supplies will be provided except for
adhesive, so be sure to bring your favorite brand with you the
day of the event. These are NOT the same cards offered in our
Year of Cards Class and stampers of all experience levels are
welcome.

Weekender?
It’s a fun filled
weekend with games, food, fun and
lots of creativity! Our circus will

and from 10 to 5 on Sunday.

and you will have plenty of time to
