Dottie!
A special message
from the President
After 40 years of loyal and dedicated service
as a Board Member, Dottie Carnes has elected
to retire from the Kemba Board of Directors.
Her focus over the years was on the best
products and services that would benefit all
members. Dottie also had a passion for the
well being of the Kemba staff. Her dedicated
service over the years has allowed Kemba to
fully develop into the strong financial institution
it is today.
Dottie joined Kemba as a member in 1970
and has served on the board since 1974.
She retired as the Benefits Manager of
SupeRX drugs in 1986, following 23 years of
combined employment with The Kroger Co.
and SupeRX Drugs. Her professional talents
and administrative experience have played a
key role in the growth and success of the credit
union. For 37 of her 40 years on the board,
she devotedly served as Secretary of the
Board. Dottie was deeply involved in multiple
areas of the credit union, serving on the
Benefits Committee as well as the Executive
Committee.
Dottie’s dedication and support to Kemba will
be missed, especially her warm and friendly
smile. The entire organization wishes nothing
but the best for Dottie in her future endeavors.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff and
Kemba Members, I would like to personally
thank Dottie for her loyal service to Kemba
Credit Union.
