menu - Ray`s Rio Bravo
In 1984, Rio Bravo Cantina was founded by Ray Schoenbaum.
It was an instant hit, becoming THE place to go in Atlanta for Tex-Mex food,
handmade with the freshest ingredients, eager-to-please service, and an
atmosphere filled with hot fun, cold beer and icy margaritas. Known for the
motto, “Rio Fresh, Rio Fun, Rio Bravo,” the Rio Bravo dynasty quickly spread
throughout the metropolitan area and on to various regions in Florida. In the
early ‘90s, the company was sold, eventually leaving the market entirely.
Every year since then, Ray has received thousands of requests to bring back
the concept that Atlanta natives remember so fondly. So at his first opportunity,
he pulled out the archives, dusted off the original recipe books, found a few
old friends who remembered the “secret formulas,” and even added some new
items to accommodate today’s evolving tastes.
For those of you who knew us, “Welcome back!” For those of you who are finally
able to experience what your friends, family, neighbors or coworkers have been
raving about, “Welcome to our family.” We look forward to serving you!
