COB LED Lighting
Introducing the Cool Copper COB, otherwise known as the C3; our new energy
saving performance LED Chip On Board (COB) technology. Our LED chips are
bonded directly to a thick copper substrate for ultra high thermal connectivity.
This thermal management allows it to run at cooler temperatures than an
aluminum based COB. This design offers outstanding performance with reduced
lumen degradation and increased lifespan.

EasyLED Lighting
QSSI has developed a unique LED platform that includes custom-designed arrays for
each fixture. Proper thermal management for longer life, enhanced optics for better
light distribution, and easy assembly and service complete the EasyLED package. From
benchmarking a minimum of 40˚C (104˚F) ambient during thermal testing, to fully automated
LED array manufacturing, to the custom designs for each fixture, each aspect has been
taken into careful consideration to ensure our fixtures will provide many years of troublefree service. EasyLED: Scientific, Strategic, Simple.
LumaFit LED Arrays: Custom designed for each fixture, our arrays are manufactured using
a state-of-the-art fully automated SMT machine in a clean room environment. Our AlumiLED
arrays utilize only 100% aluminum boards with copper tracings for thermal management
and stability. Each array is designed to fit a specific fixture, and this design allows us to
control not just the thermals, but also to maximize the optical performance by spreading
the light source properly throughout the lens area rather than “making do” with off-the-shelf
arrays that condense the light into a smaller area.
Thermally Sound Thermal Management: Our use of AlumiLED aluminum boards provides a
large surface area for thermal management. The increased space, coupled with the lower
operating temperatures of low- and mid-power LEDs, allow us to use larger quantities of
those to produce the same or better lumen output than we could achieve using high-power
LEDs. The cooler operating temperature helps provide an enhanced LED lifespan.
On-Board Optics: The automated SMT manufacturing process allows us to precisely place
optics on each individual LED chip as desired, allowing the light distribution to be optimally
configured for the fixture and the intended use. We currently offer Type II, Type III, and Type
V (115° and 30° beam angles).
LumaLens: We offer our EasyLED fixtures with glass or polycarbonate lenses that help
eliminate the hot spots inherent with LEDs. The polycarbonate lenses are enhanced with
a Bayer polymer to create an opal lens that breaks up the hot spots
while enhancing light distribution. Our prismatic flat or borosilicate
molded glass lenses provide the same reduction of hot spots.

replaces up to 70w Metal Halide and is perfect for building
façade, sign, and landscape lighting applications. The Small
LED Flood has a rugged die cast housing that features integral
heat-dissipating fins to provide cooler LED operation and
ensure years of dependable service.
