BPI/UKTI Nordic
Trade Mission 2010
Welcome to the 1st Annual
BPI/UKTI Trade Mission
to the Nordic region
Welcome to the inaugural BPI/UKTI Trade Mission to the
Nordic region. This is a continuation of our successful
existing international trade mission programme, which
currently includes a Sync Licensing one to Los Angeles and
an introduction to doing business in Japan. The Nordic
region has always been particularly receptive to and an
excellent market for UK independent music. Despite the
market pressures that each territory is facing, UK music
continues to punch above its weight across the region.
Our ambitions and aspirations for this mission are as
always; helping UK companies learn about, make contacts
with and trade in international markets and to assist
in whatever way we can, the development of business
opportunities benefitting UK companies. Hopefully, we
can fully deliver on this. We have an excellent programme
of seminars, presentations and networking opportunities
to achieve just this and we thank all our delegate
companies, guests and participants from across the
region for their support in making this first trade mission
to the Nordic area happen. Our particular thanks also go
to the UKTI office in London and the British Embassy in
Oslo for helping us stage the event.
