1. Description:

General Information
The FIA NACAM Rally African Safari 2015 is organized by
“Asociacion Organizadora de Rallys (AORA)” from Costa Rica.
This rally will be made in accordance with the FIA
international sporting code and its appendices, where you
can
obtain
on
the
web
site,
http:/www.automovilclubcr.com/codigo.html. The regulation
for the FIA Regional Rallies you can obtain on the web site
www.fia.com/regulations/regulation/fia-regional
ralychampionships-117 2015. The AORA Code book and the
regulations are on the web site www.rallycostarica.com
wehre you will find the present rulebook.
Modifications,
amendments
or
changes
to
these
supplementary regulations will be announced only by
numbered bulletins published by the organizer or the
Commissioners.

Entry procedure:
NACAM Rally Championship
The competitors registered to the NRC have the registration covered. All
those competitors wishing to participate only on this date of the NRC will
have
to
present
and
application
to
[email protected] , respecting the dates in point
4.1.
For the National Championship 2015
The competitors that are in the CNR must have their entry form sign and
field, they must have paid their annual fee and have no debts with AORA.

The Maximum number of entrants and Car Specifications:
The number maximum of entrants is 45 vehicles. Exceeding this figure the
selection shall be made at sole discretion of the Organization, following the
criteria marked in the rules for rallies.
The accepted cars and participants in the NACAM Rally
Championship are as indicated in the NRC 2015 regulations, wish
are groups and classes from FIA.
The cars and Classes that can take part in the Mexican Rally
Championship are under the current regulations of the national
championship.
Group 1: Will be admitted vehicles from 1601 cc up to 2000 cc turbo
and from 2001cc up to 2500 cc atmospheric. This group is the actual N4M
category.

Group 2: Will be admitted vehicles from 1401 cc up to 1600 cc turbo and
from 1601cc up to 2000 cc atmospheric. This group is the actual N3, A7
categories.
Group 3: Will be admitted vehicles from 1400 cc turbo up to 1600cc
atmospheric. This group is the actual A6 y N2 Category’s.
OPEN Category and Invitation: Those that follow the regulations in the
regional championship.

The registration fee only gives you the right to participate in one of
the championships, if you wish to participate in both championships

the NRC.

Competitors in CNR will have to pay in Cash at the offices of AORA in
Estadio Nacional no late then the Monday meeting July 20. PAPER WORK
WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IF THERE IS NO PAYMENT.

Refunds:
Registration fees will be reimbursed in its entirety to NRC competitors only
if:
a. - The entry if a competitor has been rejected.
b. - In case the Rally does not happen
Registration fees will be reimbursed in its entirety to cnr competitors only
if:
a) Those who solicit ate an entry and has been rejected in a
75%.
b) In case, the Rally does not happen 50%.
c) If the competitors justify them self’s with the Sport Commissioners and
these agree before the start 50%.

6. Numbers and Advertising:

Competition numbers and Advertising:
The competition numbers, rally plats and optional advertising will
be delivered by the organization and must be settled before the
technical scrutinizing as described in Appendix 4. The competition
numbers to be used in the event will be assigned by the NRC and
CNR.

In the case of not using optional Advertising:
Each crew that do not have and optional advertising entering Parc
Fermé from the beginning will be fined with the registration fee
that corresponds to your group or Cup (see3.1)

Advertising for the Event:
Any person who wishes to place advertising in the hospitalities, in
the Start and in the Finish line, as well as in the path of the route
will have to pay a proportional cost for the size of the canvas. Such
fees are available with the permanent secretariat.

NOTE: If the Advertising elements are not authorized, they will be removed and
the cost of the removal will go on the competitor.
7. Tires:

Specified tires for use during the Rally:
For NRC Competitors; The Brand of the tires, type and compound are free
of choice for the competitors. There is no limit on the amount; however all
of them must be presents as the scrutinizing for the marking of these.
For CNR Competitors; follow as indicted in the technical AORA rulebook.
8. Fuel:

Authorized Fuel:
The gasoline to be used throughout the event must be in accordance
with the regulations of the NRC and CNR.

Refueling:
The refills may only be carried out in refueling areas provided by the
organizer in the outputs of the service parks or in the route. These areas for
refueling will be indicated in the itinerary and the route book

The recognition for the NRC will take place on Thursday July 23 at 09:00hrs
to 13:00 hrs. The recognitions for the CNR opens on July 19 at 10:00hrs up
to 14:00 hrs. Any participant who is surprised circulating in the sections
outside these date will be reported to the commissioners.

The crews will register for the recognition in the administrative controls
installed at the beginning of the route.

Specific Restrictions:
Competitors are reminded that recognitions are made on open roads
with traffic, and they will have to respect the Transit rules, with a speed
limit of 50KM/hr.
All the sections that are run more than once at the rally it will be
considered as one stage for the purpose of recognition. The time table for
recognition must be respected at all times for the sections that are in both
directions for the crew safety and without crews circulating in both
directions

Failure to comply with the assigned Schedule:
Each crew must present them self in their assigned hour, not presenting in
the assigned schedule you will be fined according to the Rally
Commissioners (CNR). It does not apply to NRC.

Final scrutineering :

The college of Commissioners will decide toghether with the NRC
scrutineering chief the cars that will be scruitinized, for the CNR the CNR
Commissioner and the technical delegate will decide the cars to be
Scrutinized.

Protest Cost:
It must comply with the guidelines of the NRC/CNRM regulations from the
in the Rules for Rallies. If the protest requires disassembly of parts the
protester must pay and additional deposit. Costs incurred for moving and
disassembly will be paid by the protestant if the protest has no basis and
the competitor that been protested if the claim is valid. If the protest has
no go, and the cost of the transfer and disassembly are higher than the
deposit, the protestor must pay de difference. If the deposit is greater than
the sum of the expenses, the difference will be refunded to the protestant.
