The Scroll range is one of Michael’s
signature designs. Featuring soft feminine
curves, these collections have proved very
popular for the 30 years we have been
making them. These sterling silver pendants
and earrings feature bright coloured semiprecious stones. We have a range of lovely
colours and stones on display, including
blue topaz, citrine, peridot, amethyst and
rhodolite garnet. With products available in

Boronia Studs
Boronia is a genus of about 90-100 species of evergreen
shrubs found all over Australia. With small spring blooming
flowers renowned for their perfume, the shrubs generally grow
in open forests and woodlands. Nearby colonies include the
Dandenongs and Mornington Peninsula.
Michael designed these studs as part of his native floral and
fauna collections, during the 1980s. They make a popular gift,
with an attractive price of $85 in sterling silver.
Australian Netball
Diamonds
Michael Wilson Diamond Jewellers are official sponsors of the
Australian Netball Diamonds. The Australian Diamonds represent
Australia at an international level. Coached by Lisa Alexander, the
team is currently captained by Natalie von Bertouch and won its
10th World Netball Championships in Singapore, July 2011.
In 2010 Michael designed the Constellation Cup for the international
netball test between the Australian Diamonds and the New Zealand
Silver Ferns. This initiated our relationship and constant support for
these outstanding sportswomen.
In 2012 the Australian Netball Diamonds will be working hard
to defend their current position as the number one team. The
Holden Netball Test Series commences Sunday 16th September
in Melbourne, when the Diamonds will play the first of three tests
against the New Zealand Silver Ferns for the Constellation Cup.
This will be followed by the International quad series against New
Zealand, England and South Africa over a nine test schedule played
both on Australian and New Zealand shores. Tickets to the games go
on sale to the general public Thursday 26 July and can be purchased
from Ticketek on 132 849 or at www.ticketek.com.au
Looking to the future the Australian Netball Diamonds are being
driven by coach Lisa Alexander to focus on winning the 2014
Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the 2015 World Netball
Championships in Sydney.

Rare Argyle Pink Diamond Pendants
Diamonds occur naturally in a wide variety
of colours. Such ‘fancy’ coloured diamonds
are extremely rare, and are continually
gaining popularity. Pink diamonds are
perhaps the most rare and sought-after of
the available coloured diamonds.
It is thought that pink diamonds obtain
their stunning colour as a result of extreme
pressure beneath the earth’s surface. The
majority of the world’s supplies of pink
diamonds are mined in the Argyle diamond
mine in Western Australia. Pink diamonds
currently comprise just 0.03% of global
diamond production. Argyle has estimated
that the mine life of pink diamonds will only
last another decade, making these exclusive
stones even more rare.

Monica Szwaja
Kombu Collection (Keum-boo/Kum-bu)
Melbourne based, award-winning designer
Monica Szwaja creates innovative and
contemporary jewellery using an ancient
Korean technique of fusing gold to sterling
silver using heat and pressure.
“I have chosen to use the spelling ‘Kombu’
which is a type of seaweed as my designs
are seascapes and landscapes or at least
have some reference to the sea. This process
requires each piece to be handmade and
therefore every piece is individually crafted
and varies slightly in design.”
Monica Szwaja
Monica studied at Sir John Cass College in
London and then went on to complete her
Bachelor of Fine Arts at Royal Melbourne
Institute of Technology, graduating with
honours. Monica has gained several titles in
the Australian Jewellery Design Awards, as
well as being selected as a finalist in other
design competitions such as the South Sea
Jewellery Design Awards.

Upcoming Exhibition
Michael and Wendy Wilson recently took an excursion with their caravan up to the Northern
Territory and Western Australia. They had a wonderful time on their trip and have plenty of
