One of the many unique qualities you will find, like the B25, is that all Browning
B525’s are perfectly balanced allowing you to consistently perform well whether
shooting clays or game. The balance of each gun is perfected by its hand crafted
nature making each gun a true individual.
The B525 is so well balanced that when in your hands, you’ll forget that you are
holding a gun as it becomes an extension of ‘you’ enabling you to fully concentrate
on your target whether game or clay.

Each and every B525 uses the patented action frame made from indestructible forged
steel using Browning’s unique wide diameter hinge pin that guarantees strength
and resistance to wear. So sure of this system that Browning provides a 10 year
warranty for the action frame of each and every gun. The B525 hinge pin provides
an exceptionally smooth opening and closing motion - you can literally feel the
gun close securely each and every time. This is aided by the wide tapered locking bolt that has not changed
since John Browning invented the system - this is unique to Browning.

All Browning barrels and chambers are made from Chromium Molybdenum steel
which is highly resistant to corrosion, as long as they are maintained correctly
and ensure easy maintenance after a day’s shooting. A large number of the
variants come with five interchangeable Invector chokes. High performance steel
shot can be used in each and every B525 fitted with Invector chokes.
Locking Bolt
The B525 is totally reliable using an impact hammer ejector system, providing a more positive action than
traditional ejection systems making the B525 the best on the market ensuring consistent spent cartridge
pulling strength and the power to eject shot after shot. The B525 is totally reliable and will never let you
down especially if you are in the thick of the action.
The Browning B525 is not industrially produced but instead each gun is made
individually with its own set of unique components going from one gunsmith to
the next as the gun is literally hand crafted using each gunsmiths years of knowledge
and skill. It takes over 4 months to make a Browning B525 as there is so much
individual attention paid to the build of each gun.

that offers so many different options and is hand crafted to produce an
individual shotgun of such exceptionally high quality that will precisely fit
its owner and deliver Browning’s renowned reliability and durability.
This time proven method of manufacturing is different to all others on the market as our highly
skilled gunsmiths rely on their own expertise and craftsmanship to build your B525 resulting in a
totally unique shotgun with no interchangeable parts with other B525’s.
It is said that our gunsmiths give each B525 ‘a little bit of their life’ making it an individual so that
all the elements of the shotgun fit together tightly and securely so that each B525 performs as
you would expect time after time.
During every stage of manufacture total care is taken to make a shotgun that sets the standard
for all shotguns which includes finely adjusted trigger pull weight to meet our specified range for
optimal performance.

Browning’s gunsmiths take their time when making a B525. This is the only shotgun
on the market at this price level that is hand fitted during production to such a
high standard with this level of performance making each shotgun truly unique.

Traditional red ochre is used to check that the fit between the action and barrels is perfect. This method
is the best traditional method to ensure an exact fit between all the wood parts and metal parts is
achieved. It literally allows the gunsmith to see inside the gun. And where needed adjustments are
made by hand one by one to ensure that the Browning B525 sets the standard for all other shotguns.
The attention to detail in the making and fitting
together of each and every Browning B525 is unique
just like the ‘Browning feeling’ as the locking pins
meet when you close your gun. It makes such a
reassuring perfect sound willing you to want to go
and shoot.
Each stock is made using specially selected walnut sourced from renewable forests
in Europe and a choice of grades are available from grades 2, 2.5, 3, 4 and 5.
The grade of walnut used on your Browning B525 is dependent on the choice of
gun that you decide to purchase - please see the summary of the Hunting and
Sporting ranges at the end of the brochure.
A CHOICE
OF WOOD GRADES AND STOCK OPTIONS

A choice of different stock grips is also available from Pistol grip, Round Pistol grip and a Straight
Stock grip. Each stock is traditionally checkered providing additional control whilst shooting. The
time and care taken over the fitting of the stock to each B525 ensures that each and every gun is
perfectly balanced.
Recognising that we are all different, Browning also produces the B525 that is suitable for left handed
people and adjustable triggers with 3 different positions are provided on all Sporting models.

Each B525 shotgun comes with a number of different choices in engravings to
suit your budget and desires and is dependent on what grade of gun you decide
to purchase. These engravings include traditional game scenes such as duck and
pheasants in flight to the classical roll & scroll. The engravings become more
ornate and elaborate as one progresses from the Classic to our new top of the
range Heritage model.

top of the range the Sport Heritage. There is a sixth 12 gauge option - the B525 Trap which has a widened rib of 13mm and specially

Each 12 gauge model incorporates a 3” chambered barrel that can fire both 70mm (2 3/4”) and
76mm (3”) cartridges and weighs a fraction over 3kg. There are 4 different choices in barrel length:
66 – 71 – 76 – 81cm all proofed for steel shot and each coming with a choice of 5 different Invector
chokes. The ‘Light’ version has its action frame made from lightweight aircraft grade alloy.
