Arizona governor vs. Phoenix Suns owner
The owner of the Phoenix Suns basketball team, Robert Sarver, opposes AZ’s new immigration laws.
Arizona ‘s Governor, Jan Brewer, released the following statement in response to Sarver’s criticism
of the new law:

The song that silenced the cappuccino machine.
It was chilly in Manhattan but warm inside the
Starbucks shop on 51st Street and Broadway, just a
skip up from Times Square.
Early November weather in New York City holds
only the slightest hint of the bitter chill of late December and January, but it’s enough to send the masses
crowding indoors to vie for available space and
warmth.
For a musician, it’s the most lucrative Starbucks
location in the world, I’m told, and consequently, the
tips can be substantial if you play your tunes right.
Apparently, we were striking all the right chords
that night, because our basket was almost overflowing. It was a fun, low-pressure gig - I
was playing keyboard and singing backup for my
friend who also added rhythm with an arsenal of percussion instruments. We mostly did pop songs from
the ’40s to the ’90s with a few original tunes thrown
in.
During our emotional rendition of the classic, “If
You Don’t Know Me by Now,” I noticed a lady sitting in one of the lounge chairs across from me. She
was swaying to the beat and singing along.
After the tune was over, she approached me. “I
apologize for singing along on that song. Did it bother
you?” she asked.
“No,” I replied. “We love it when the audience
joins in. Would you like to sing up front on the next
selection?” To my delight, she accepted my invitation. “You choose,” I said. “What are you in the mood
to sing?”
“Well. ... do you know any hymns?”
Hymns? This woman didn’t know who she was
dealing with. I cut my teeth on hymns. Before I was
even born, I was going to church. I gave our guest
singer a knowing look. “Name one.”
“Oh, I don’t know. There are so many good ones.
You pick one.”
“Okay,” I replied. “How about ‘His Eye is on the
Sparrow’?”
My new friend was silent, her eyes averted.
Then she fixed her eyes on mine again and said,
“Yeah. Let’s do that one.” She slowly nodded her
head, put down her purse, straightened her jacket
and faced the center of the shop. With my twobar setup, she began to sing,
“Why should I be discouraged? Why should the
shadows come?”

paying? What if they had a good idea who the gate-crashers are, but the ushers and security personnel
were not allowed to ask these folks to produce their ticket stubs, thus non-paying attendees couldn’t

I’m a legal American citizen and I must show my I’D when:
1. Pulled over by police.
2. Making purchases on a department store credit card.
3. When I show up for a doctor’s appointment.
4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.
5. When applying for or renewing a driver’s license or passport.
6. When applying for any kind of insurance.
7. When filling out college applications.
8. When donating blood.
9. When obtaining certain perscription drugs.
10. When making some debit purchases, especially when out of state.
11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.
I’m sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of the USA
are required to prove who we are nearly every day of our lives!
WHY SHOULD PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY ILLEGALLY BE EXEMPT?
Why shouldn’t we guard our borders as closely as every other country in the world does?

Jersey Shore Tea Party Healthcare Lawsuit
On September 24, 2010 a forty-two
page, fifteen count lawsuit was filed in
Southern NJ District Court by Nicholas Purpura and Don Laster, et al v.
Kathleen Sebelius, HHS Secretary,
Timothy Geithner, Treasury Secretary
and Hilda Solis, Labor Secretary.
Tea Party Groups and thousands of
people nationwide are signing onto the

It does not matter in what state you
reside. We are looking for 250,000 signatures.)
Don and Nick know their stuff.
Nick is a law expert and former partner
with Bear Stearns and Don is a Constitutional scholar.
To date, four justice department attorneys are fighting to stop this The DOJ
is scared and they should be. We now
have documentation of suspected connivance between the judge and the DOJ.
This is already being addressed in
motions by Nick and Don. The government can not afford this suit to get to
the SC.
Unlike the State AG suits, Nick and
Don have identified 15 counts on which
so-called “HR 3590” is flat out unconstitutional. They have already filed a request for a Temporary Restraining Order and the fight is on.
Because of the way the bill was
written, if only one count stands, the
judge has the authority to stop the implementation of the entire bill. You can see

Don and Nick are setting up a
website so you can follow the progress
of the suit.
Following is a brief description of
some of the counts. The presentation
goes into further detail.
All revenue raising bills must originate in the House of representative. We
unequivocally prove that “HR 3590”
originated in the Senate.
Congress can regulate commerce,
but not coerce citizens to purchase a
product because they breathe and live
in the US.
We prove that healthcare mandates
citizens to make purchases against their
will.
Congress cannot fund an army for
more than two years. We prove the bill
creates a presidential army (Ready Reserve Corps) and funds it for four years.
Congress cannot tax articles exported from any State. We prove the bill
taxes medical devices made in one State
and exported to another.
Congress has no power to grant unreasonable search and seizure. We prove
the bill authorizes the IRS to seize personal property as punishment for failure to purchase health insurance.
Congress cannot deprive anyone of
due process of the law. We prove that
healthcare criminalizes those who fail
to purchase mandated insurance, seizes
their property and renders the civil right
to “due process” null and void.
Further, we prove that numerous
sections of the healthcare bill state,
“There shall be no administrative or judicial review,” thereby depriving citizens of “due process.”
HIPPA laws protect medical information privacy. We prove the healthcare
bill violates that privacy by sharing all
medical information among various
bureaucratic agencies.
Congress has no authority to violate the antitrust laws. We prove that
healthcare stealthily establishes a ‘single
payer system’ amounting to a government run monopoly.
Further, Congress violates the
antitrust laws by establishing an entity that can ‘price fix’ and force insurers out of business. Our representatives swear an oath to act in a ‘fiduciary’ capacity to protect the
American people.
We prove that by failing to read
the healthcare bill and by ignoring
Constitutional warnings from the
Congressional Research Service, our
representatives committed impeachable offenses.
We can win this and we can stop
healthcare dead in its tracks. Please

The audience of coffee drinkers was
transfixed. Even the gurgling noises of
the cappuccino machine ceased as the
employees stopped what they were doing to listen. The song rose to its conclusion.
“I sing because I’m happy;
I sing because I’m free.
For His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me.”
When the last note was sung, the
applause crescendoed to a deafening
roar that would have rivaled a sold-out
crowd at Carnegie Hall.
Embarrassed, the woman tried to
shout over the din, “Oh, y’all go back
to your coffee! I didn’t come in here to
do a concert! I just came in here to get
somethin’ to drink, just like you!”
But the ovation continued.. I embraced my new friend. “You, my dear,
have made my whole year! That was
beautiful!”
“Well, it’s funny that you picked
that particular hymn,” she said.
“Why is that?”
“Well . ..” she hesitated again, “that
was my daughter’s favorite song.”
“Really!” I exclaimed.
“Yes,” she said, and then grabbed
my hands. By this time, the applause had
subsided and it was business as usual..
“She was 16. She died of a brain tumor
last week.”
I said the first thing that found its
way through my stunned silence. “Are
you going to be okay?”
She smiled through tear-filled eyes
and squeezed my hands. “I’m gonna be
okay. I’ve just got to keep trusting the
Lord and singing his songs, and
everything’s gonna be just fine.” She
picked up her bag, gave me her card,
and then she was gone.
Was it just a coincidence that we
happened to be singing in that particular coffee shop on that particular November night? Coincidence that this
wonderful lady just happened to walk

Someone please tell me what the
HELL’s wrong with all the people that
run this country!!!!!!! are they allon the

It was a great reminder that if we
keep trusting him and singing his songs,
everything’s gonna be okay.

Written by a housewife in New Brunswick, to her
local newspaper. This is one ticked off lady...
‘Are we fighting a war on terror or aren’t we?
Was it or was it not, started by Islamic people who
brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001 and
have continually threatened to do so since?
Were people from all over the world, not brutally
murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across
the Potomac from the capitol of the USA and in a
field in Pennsylvania?
Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day,
or didn’t they?
And I’m supposed to care that a few Taliban were
claiming to be tortured by a justice system of a nation
they are fighting against in a brutal insurgency.
I’ll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent
people on 9/11.
I’ll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the
Middle East, start caring about the Holy Bible, the
mere belief of which, is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan.
I’ll care when these thugs tell the world they are
sorry for hacking off Nick Berg’s head, while Berg
screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.
I’ll care when the cowardly so-called ‘insurgents’
in Afghanistan, come out and fight like men, instead
of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in
mosques and behind women and children.
I’ll care when the mindless zealots who blow
themselves up in search of nirvana, care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I’ll care when the Canadian media stops pretending that their freedom of speech on stories, is more
important than the lives of the soldiers on the ground
or their families waiting at home, to hear about them
when something happens.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a
CANADIAN soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist
to obtain information, know this:

holy book is being ‘mishandled,’ you can absolutely
believe, in your heart of hearts:

it’s spelled ‘Koran’ and other times ‘Quran.’ Well,

Living With Poor Vision
Cataracts

A cataract is a clouding of the eye’s natural lens,
which lies behind the iris and the pupil. The lens works
much like a camera lens, focusing light onto the retina
at the back of the eye. The lens also adjusts the eye’s
focus, letting us see things clearly both up close and
far away.
The lens is mostly made of water and protein. The
protein is arranged in a precise way that keeps the lens
clear and lets light pass through it.
But as we age, some of the protein may clump
together and start to cloud a small area of the lens.
This is a cataract, and over time, it may grow larger
and cloud more of the lens, making it harder to see.
Researchers are gaining additional insights about
what causes these specific types of proteins
(crystallins) to cluster in abnormal ways to cause lens
cloudiness and cataracts. One recent finding suggests
that fragmented versions of these proteins bind with
normal proteins, disrupting normal function.
Cataract Symptoms and Signs
A cataract starts out small and at first has little
effect on your vision. You may notice that your vision
is blurred a little, like looking through a cloudy piece
of glass or viewing an impressionist painting.
If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to
all your friends. Sooner or later, it’ll get to the people
responsible for this ridiculous behavior!
If you don’t agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please
don’t complain when more atrocities committed by
radical Muslims happen here in our great Country!

if during their life on earth, they made a difference in
the world. But, the Soldiers don’t have that problem.’

You did it. Facing pressure from you, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced Thursday night he was withdrawing the Democrats’ last-minute, 2,200
page-long, $1.1 trillion spending bill. He withdrew it from the floor because he
didn’t have the votes. And he didn’t have the votes because you didn’t relent or
stop contacting Senate Democrats until they had no choice but to listen.
This is why elections matter.
Because of the vote you cast on November 2, President Obama and the Democrats can’t ignore Republicans anymore. They can no longer ram through legislation without regard for what their constituents want or continue to recklessly spend
your tax dollars while driving up the debt. Now they have to listen, and the fate of
their latest spending bill is proof of that.
This is just the beginning though. We have to keep the pressure up because
they will try again. We must keep the pressure up today, tomorrow, next month and
for the next two years. Will you continue to stand with us? Will you commit to
holding the Democrats accountable and working to make sure Republicans
take back the Senate in 2012? &&&If so, please click here and sign the petition.
Tell the Democrats this was just the beginning and we will not let up on the pressure anytime soon.
My Republican colleagues and I can’t thank you enough for the hard work you
did this week. The Democrats may not have heard you on November 2, but we
sure did and will continue to work everyday to get our country back on track.

Hazy or blurred vision may mean you have a cataract.
A cataract may make light from the sun or a lamp
seem too bright or glaring. Or you may notice when
you drive at night that the oncoming headlights cause
more glare than before. Colors may not appear as

What Causes Cataracts?
No one knows for sure why the eye’s lens changes
as we age, forming cataracts. Researchers are gradually identifying factors that may cause cataracts —
and information that may help to prevent them.
Many studies suggest that exposure to ultraviolet
light is associated with cataract development, so eye
care practitioners recommend wearing sunglasses and
a wide-brimmed hat to reduce your exposure.
Other types of radiation may also be causes. For
example, a 2005 study conducted in Iceland suggests
that airline pilots have a higher risk of developing
nuclear cataract than non-pilots and that the cause may
be exposure to cosmic radiation. A similar theory suggests that astronauts, too, are at risk from cosmic ra

Chula Vista , CA . He wrote it for his
third grade homework assignment, to
‘explain God.’ I wonder if any of us
could have done as well?

in California , and someone published
it, I guess miracles do happen ! ... ]
EXPLANATION
OF GOD:
‘One of God’s main jobs is making
people. He makes them to replace the
ones that die, so there will be enough
people to take care of things on earth.
He doesn’t make grownups, just babies.
I think because they are smaller and
easier to make. That way he doesn’t have
to take up his valuable time teaching
them to talk and walk. He can just leave
that to mothers and fathers.’
‘God’s second most important job is
listening to prayers. An awful lot of this
goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times beside bedtime. God doesn’t have time to listen to
the radio or TV because of this. Because
he hears everything, there must be a terrible lot of noise in his ears, unless he
has thought of a way to turn it off.’
‘God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere which keeps
Him pretty busy. So you shouldn’t go
wasting his time by going over your
mom and dad’s head asking for something they said you couldn’t have.’

God can. It is good to know He’s around
you when you’re scared, in the dark or
when you can’t swim and you get
thrown into real deep water by big kids.’

think of what God can do for you. I figure God put me here and he can take
me back anytime he pleases.

It was by faith that Abraham obeyed the summons to go out to a place
which he would eventually possess, and he set out in complete ignorance
of his destination. It was faith that kept him journeying like a foreigner
through the land of promise, with no more home than the tents which he
shared with Isaac and Jacob, co-heirs with him of the promise. For
Abraham’s eyes were looking forward to that city with solid foundations
of which God Himself is both architect and builder.
For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God;
and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his
salvation. For the Scriptures tell us that no one who believes in Christ
will ever be disappointed. Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect:
they all have the same Lord Who generously gives His riches to all
those who ask Him for them. Anyone who calls upon the name of the
Lord will be saved.
For they don’t understand that Christ has died to make them right with
God. Instead they are trying to make themselves good enough to gain
God’s favor by keeping the Jewish laws and customs, but that is not
God’s way of salvation. They don’t understand that Christ gives to those
that trust Him everything they are trying to get by keeping His laws. He
ends all of that.
For Moses wrote that if a person could be perfectly good and hold out
against temptation all his life and never sin once, only then could He
be pardoned and saved. But the salvation that comes through faith says,
“You don’t need to search the heavens to find Christ and bring Him
down to help you,” and, “You don’t need to go among the dead to bring
Christ back to life again.”
For salvation that comes from trusting Christ - which is what we preach
- is already within easy reach of each of us; in fact, it is as near as our
own hearts and mouths. For if you tell others with your own mouth that
Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe in your own heart that God has
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For this purpose the Son of
God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

over and over when running for the presidential office – “I’m going to bring Wall Street to Main Street”?
I also researched the money given as foreign aid
and the sums are also staggering. I didn’t include it in
this memo because it is disgusting to learn where our

Unlike any other religion Christianity is not a social
order! It is an order of service to a lost and dying
social structure. Early Christians knew that without
the name of Jesus applied to the lives of every man,
woman, boy and girl on this earth they would for
ever be lost to the eternal pits of hell. To this end
they went into all the earth. Turning the world
upside down. Not one of them ever won a nation to
Christ. Jesus came as king of Israel and his people
loved him but he was rejected by the nation. Now he
lives and reigns in the hearts and souls of people of
every nation. Color, social order, creed or origin on
earth because he said “ Come unto me all ye that
labor and are heaven and I will give you rest.
There was not one of the twelve that did not die a
myrters death except for John and he was boiled in
oil and banished to the isle of Patmos where he
wrote the book of Revelation. The 11 all died in a
strange land to bring this Gospel of peace and hope
to a world without God or his word. Only a burden
for the lost would be sufficient to drive them on
because there certainly was no gain for themselves.
Jerusalem was plundered and its people carried into
many nations yet not one word was ever written
about a homeland or about loved ones lost.
For the most part they were alone in a nation
who’s minds were blinded by the greed and lusts of
the world, But they did have some direction from the
past that was foolproof. Exodus 23=1-3 Follow not a
multitude to do evil! And. 111 John 1=11 And their
sound went into all the earth! There is a vast
difference between sent and gone! And between
social Christianity and our commitment to the work
of salvation

the cage of every unclean foul. The church forsook
its mission of condemnation in favor of the social
charm of degradation and shame.
While the tea party blames the politicians and the
republicans blame the democrats and Islam blames
Jesus and the name of Jesus becomes the number
one suspect. Cant we the people of God focus our
attention on “why are we even here?” The cross did
not make us into mindless robots! It did not change
“ Follow not a multitude to do evil”
We are now on new frontiers of Christianity. We
face challenges tomorrow that we can not even
imagine today and we are the conscience of our
nation. We can no longer ignore our mission of
condemnation! All of religion is not equal and
judgment must begin at the house of God. We are
what we are because the church structure has failed
to preach this Gospel to every creature we have
failed to mend our broken homes we have failed to
stand in the gap and make up the hedge Our
buildings and our standing in the community are
not nearly as important as the soul of our nation or

Mr. President Obama: Shame Shame on you! For
your information, Mr. President, many Americans of

Gradually turn up the heat and the toad won’t
notice he’s in the stew pot. We are losing our fundamental freedoms and liberties in exactly the same way.
For decades State, Federal and local governments
have been slowly turning up the flame of tyranny,
hoping that, like the toad, we’ll be oblivious to what’s
happening to our freedom. Right now the jackbooted
thugs at the Transportation Safety Authority (TSA)
are leading the charge to shred your Constitutional
rights.
According to TSA, if you travel by commercial
airline you’re now required to leave your dignity and
your 4th Amendment protection against unreasonable
search at home. In the name of “public safety” the
Department of Homeland Security and TSA are forcing you to choose between two equally humiliating
and unconstitutional options:
· Submit to being bombarded with millions
of particles of harmful radiation and allow TSA
agents to view – and even save – computer images
of your naked body.
· Or, force yourself to undergo an invasive
hands-on, rub-down search that amounts to nothing
more than state endorsed sexual assault.
If they can do this to travelers — grandmothers,
young kids, pregnant moms — imagine what they will
claim they can do to gun owners after some sort of
“gun crime” or armed attack by terrorists.
While our judicial system is based on the fundamental fact that you are innocent until proven guilty,
TSA doesn’t see it that way. In TSA’s eyes you’re
guilty until you submit to their authoritarian – and
harmful – search program.
Should you voice even the slightest murmur of
opposition to this state-sponsored humiliation, you’ll
be treated as a terrorist and potentially fined more than
$10,000. Not to mention, they won’t let you board
the plane to get where you’re going.
This clear violation of your right to protection
from unreasonable search and seizure has been endorsed by Obama’s White House and the lame-duck
Congressional leadership. Their willingness to trample
the 4th Amendment should clearly show how the
Washington D.C. establishment views our other constitutionally protected rights.
While public outcry to TSA’s new naked-imageradiation-or-grope search options has been loud,
they’re digging their heals in. Gun owners like you
and me MUST continue to put pressure on Congress
to control the thugs at TSA.

THE SITUATION
In Washington , DC , at a Metro Station, on a
cold January morning in 2007, this man with a violin
played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During
that time, approximately 2,000 people went through
the station, most of them on their way to work.. After
about 3 minutes, a middle-aged man noticed that there
was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and
stopped for a few seconds, and then he hurried on to
meet his schedule.
About 4 minutes later:
The violinist received his first dollar. A woman
threw money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk.
At 6 minutes:
A young man leaned against the wall to listen to
him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again.
At 10 minutes:
A 3-year old boy stopped, but his mother tugged
him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the
violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the
child continued to walk, turning his head the whole
time. This action was repeated by several other children, but every parent - without exception - forced
their children to move on quickly.
At 45 minutes:
The musician played continuously. Only 6 people
stopped and listened for a short while. About 20 gave
money but continued to walk at their normal pace.
The man collected a total of $32.
After 1 hour:
He finished playing and silence took over. No one
noticed and no one applauded. There was no recognition at all.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua
Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world. He
played one of the most intricate pieces ever written,
with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. Two days
before, Joshua Bell sold-out a theatre in Boston where
the seats averaged $100 each to sit and listen to him
play the same music.
This is a true story. Joshua Bell, playing incognito in the D.C. Metro Station, was organized by the
Washington Post as part of a social experiment about
perception, taste and people’s priorities.
This experiment raised several questions:
*In a common-place environment, at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty?
*If so, do we stop to appreciate it?
*Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context?
One possible conclusion reached from this experiment could be this:
If we do not have a moment to stop and listen
to one of the best musicians in the world, playing
some of the finest music ever written, with one of
the most beautiful instruments ever made . . .

Thousands of Spanish troops allied
with the Continental Army fought
against the British in the Spanish declared War of 1779.
There were 7000 prisoners of war
who died in English prison ships in the
New York Harbor; 4000 of them were
Spanish Soldiers fighting for American
Independence.
Hispanics from Spain, the present
day USA, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Santo
Domingo, Venezuela and Costa Rica
fought with the Continental Army
against the British.
Spanish Ports in Europe and the
Caribbean were safe havens for harassed American Ships.
The battle of York Town was
planned by a Military Strategist, Captain Francisco de Saavedra, which was
the turning point of the war for Independence.
During the revolutionary War of
(1746 – 1786) General Bernardo de
Galvez commanded the Spanish troops
composed of Puerto Ricans, Venezuelans, Dominicans, Salvadorans, Nicaraguans, and Mexicans during this
Revolution. In this war, Galvez also
provided guns, clothing, gunpowder,
and medicine to the American troops,
by flying the Spanish flag enabling
them to pass through the British fortifications unimpeded.
In 1785 George Washington,
wrote a thank you letter to “Carlos III,
King of Spain”, for his generous
fledging support to the United States
in which the King of Spain had
donated 1,000,000 pounds to the
Continental Congress towards the
defeat of the British at York Town.

de Oro was a specialized Bio-chemist

Dali, the famous Pianist-conductor Jose
Iurbe, the great Historians like Javier
Malago and Guillermo Cespedes, and
many more prominent Hispanics are
found in the books of “Cerebros
Espanoles en USA (Spanish Minds in
USA) by Alfredo Gomez Gil.
Many of the legends left by the
Spaniards, continue to exist today, such
as the Civil Code 1825 related to the
famous “Quinta Partida” (15th book of
Law),” the Recopilaciones de Castile”
(Compilations of Castile), “Autos
Acordados” (Judicial Decrees), “Lees
de Toro” (Tort Laws).
What most people don’t know, including politicians, and national leaders and those who dislike the word

Hi Joe,
Wish I could get someone
to make my water fueled steam
turbine engine that I received
in a night vision. A few years
ago.
In the millennium we will
use nature’s surface fuels that
are abundant; and, water will
be the most utilized of them.
To use any of them efficiently we must master the use
of the smallest quantities to
bring about the most efficient
use of their power quotient.
One drop of water requires
far less energy to explode into
steam than a bucket full.
Picture a flywheel (rotor)
with drop sized ports drilled or
cast into it at 1/4 inch increments all around the rotor.
These will need to be oriented
so that each is drilled parallel
to the axis of the rotor.
These rotors would then be
arranged on an axle with a calrod crossing every third line of
holes.
The sequence of events
when running would be to inject a droplet of water into each
of the holes on one line. Then
bring that line into alignment
with the cal-rod (which is preheated to 275 deqrees farenheit.
This explodes the droplet
into steam which rotates the rotor to the next line of holes
which are in the outer casing
of the engine and act as exhaust
ports for the steam.
Properly arranged and adjusted the output energy should
be at least 1.7 times the input
energy and perhaps more.

My wife Kerry had a dream
in which a plane was flying off

WELCOME HOME
NIGHT SHELTER ON THE WAY
Every indication is that
Alamogordo is finally ready
to welcome a properly
planned and managed night
shelter as an addition to it’s
already well planned community of services.
Those who attended last
month’s potluck luncheon at
‘Potluck Center’ were more
than enthusiastic about Brothers of Christ International’s
plans to obtain the former Elks
Lodge on Highway 70 just
west of Highway 54 and convert it into a facility to shelter
up to 25 women and children
and, seperately, 25 men; and
to house a Gourmet soup,
salad and baked potatoe
kitchen with a comfortable
dining area for the general
public as well as the homeless.
The hope is that Ken
Larson, a minister to the
homeless and downtrodden
associated with The Worship
Center here in Alamogordo
will become an integral part
of “WELCOME HOME”,
ministering to the needs of
those who seek shelter there.
Ken, once himself homeless, knows first hand the frustration and hopelessness those
experiencing it are wrestling
with.
Several of our Senators
and Representatives have
voiced their desire that the
Department of Transportation
consider releasing the building
to WELCOME HOME early
next year.
Once released, the building will need major overhaul
at an approximate cost of just
over $100,000.00; however,
with the help of an army of
volunteers and with generous
contributions of materials and
supplies from businesses and
services, this amount may be,
to a great extent, offset until
private grant money can be
obtained with which to reward
them.
There are 4 1/2 acres of
land accompanying the building which can certainly be put
to great use. Since many of the
homeless fear housing themselves within a structured environment, a large semi-desert
tent area will be developed.
The existing outdoor
restrooms and showers will
make this a highly used part of
the facility, affording, for the
first time, a proper place to care
for some of the 50 or more
homeless veterans roaming the
desert.
House of Prayer has done
a magnificent job of helping
these men with showers,
clothing and a hot breakfast;
but their facility is simply too
small to offer them beds. Together, with the WELCOME
HOME facility complete and
operating, they will now be
able to encouage those who
will to ‘come in out of the
cold’.
Some have argued that it
is not the collective, but the
individual responsability of
each saint of God to invite the
homeless into their homes for
shelter. In today’s world filled
with crime and drugs, this is
simply not practical.
WELCOME HOME will
institute a practice of requiring that all pockets and purses
be emptied into a lockable bag
upon entering the facility for
the night. The bag will be
placed into a locker until
morning, thus eliminating
much of the danger of
drunkeness and drug use during the evening.
Any unruliness will be
greeted with a visit by local
authorities. As a general rule,
homeless facilities of this type
experience very little difficulty maintaining decency
and order.

Now this is the Living
Bible: His name is Tim. He has
wild hair, wears a T-shirt with
holes in it,jeans, and no shoes.
This was literally his wardrobe for his entire four years of
college. He is brilliant. Kind of
profound and very, very bright.
He became a Christian
while attending college.Across
the street from the campus is a
well-dressed, very conservative
church.
They want to develop a
ministry to the students but are
not sure how to go about it..
One day Tim decides to go
there. He walks in with no
shoes, jeans, his T-shirt, and
wild hair.
The service has already
started and so Tim starts down
the aisle looking for a seat.The
church is completely packed
and he can’t find a seat.
By now, people are really
looking a bit uncomfortable,
but no one says anything. Tim
gets closer and closer and closer
to the pulpit, and when he realizes there are no seats, he just
squats down right on the carpet.
By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in
the air is thick.About this time,
the minister realizes that from
way at the back of thechurch, a
deacon is slowly making his
way toward Tim.
Now the deacon is in his
eighties, has silver-gray hair,
and a three-piece suit. A godly
man, very elegant, very dignified, very courtly. He walks
with a cane and, as he starts
walking toward this boy, everyone is saying to themselves that
you can’t blame him for what
he’s going to do.
How can you expect a man
of his age and of his background to understand some college kid on the floor?
It takes a long time for the
man to reach the boy. The
church is utterly silent except
for the clicking of the man’s
cane.All eyes are focused on
him. You can’t even hear anyone breathing.
The service can’t even proceed until the deacon does what
he has to do.
And now they see this elderly man drop his cane on the
floor. With great difficulty, he
lowers himself and sits down
next to Tim and worships with
him so he won’t be alone.
Everyone chokes up with
emotion...When the minister
gains control, he says, ‘What
I’m about to preach, you will
never remember. What you
have just seen, you will never
forget.
’’Be careful how you live.
You may be the only Bible
some people will ever read!’

Encouraging The Exposure Of Truth Concerning Local Government
SCENARIO:
Judge ‘Glee’ and his ‘Glee
Club’, the office staff that sets
his docket and helps those summoned with fees, dates and
times to appear.
Having been previously
arainged; and, having plead not
guilty, it seems that our subject
was summoned to appear for
trial at 1:30 PM; but, in error,
he presented himself to the
court ‘Glee Club’ at 8:15 AM
which is the time for
arrainments, not trials.
After carefully examining
the summons he presented to
the court clerks (‘Glee Club’),
he was told to sit in the lobby
until court convened.
At 8:30 AM the doors were
opened and everyone entered
the court.
Very shortly the bailiff ex-
claimed, “All Rise.” , and Judge
‘Glee’ entered the court.
Our subject was soon
called, stepped up to the podium
and was asked, “How do you
plead?”
This came as a surprise and,
he blurted out, “Well, uhm, I
plead (past tense) not guilty!”
“Sit over there and the bailiff will give you a date to appear.”
Confused, our subject
waited a few minutes, only to
be told to revisit the ‘Glee Club’
to receive the date.
Upon approaching the
clerks window, our subject was

account of an actual chain of
events. Take note that no blame
has been placed on anyone
other than the subject of the
scenario; however we need to
look at these facts:
1. After examining the
summons, why did the ‘Glee
Club’ not simply inform the
subject that he needed to come
back and appear at 1:30 PM.?
2. With the summons before him, why did Judge ‘Glee’
not inform the subject that he
was there at the wrong time?
3. Why is there no warning of impending arrest for
such failure to appear rather
than a rude arrest and a much
too large bond for a seat belt
offense?
4. Why did all of the bail
bondsmen choose to withhold
the subjects application for
bond and say that he would
need to be in jail 6 days?

Is it just me, or does anyone else find
it amazing that during the mad cow
epidemic our government could
