Sweet Potato Pie has been entertaining audiences for over a decade with
their classy blend of Americana, Bluegrass, Country and Gospel music
mixed together in a style they call “sweetgrass”. Radio and TV are well
acquainted with their “angelic” vocals from appearances on PBS, the
Food Network and worldwide radio broadcasts. Hailed as the “Lennon
Sisters of Bluegrass”, their show revolves around their beautiful 3-part
harmonies, hard driving instrumentals and down home humor.

Based in Franklin, Tennessee, Music City Strings was established in
2005. The group consists of violin students ranging in age from 4 to
18. At the heart of Music City Strings is a method of instruction which
strives to develop children with beautiful hearts through the gift of
music. These children have shared their joy of music for audiences all
over Middle Tennessee. Some of their performances include “Dickens
of a Christmas”, Williamson County Fair and Rodeo, nursing homes,
cancer clinics, the Vanderbilt ALS clinic and many more.

The Year, Nashville Jazz Worshop Heritage Award--and dynamic actress
with career credits including stage, studio and screen. She is a purveyor
of the Great American Songbook who has been compared to Dinah
Washington, Nancy Wilson, Carmen McRae, and Billie Holiday. But
Connye’s style is all her own. Her warm tone, unerring pitch, and easy
command of the material set her apart. She sings with both elegance

John England & the Western Swingers is a six piece band based in
Nashville, TN, which plays the lively, happy music called Western Swing.
Western Swing originally developed in Texas and Oklahoma during the
1930’s. With fiddle, steel guitar, piano, electric guitar, bass, and drums, it’s
music for dancing and listening, and combines the down-home quality
of country music with the sophistication and improvisation of hot jazz.
