Friday, April 10th CMCCU hosted its 53rd Annual Membership Meeting with 458 members and guests attending. Dinner music was provided by the Leeton High School band. After a buffet dinner and dessert, we opened the business meeting. Flag presentation and Pledge of Allegiance was led by Cub Scout Pack 19 of Centerview. During elections, Phyllis Domann was re-elected to the Board of Directors and Matt Madden and Ted Stanfield were newly elected. Ginny McTighe was elected as a new member of the Supervisory committee. We thank these members for their willingness to serve. We Are Already There! Traveling? Moving? You don’t have to leave your credit union. To find the nearest location, visit www.allco-op.org or click on the link on our webpage. r Tip: Dream Big! - We are here to help National Credit Union Youth Month Recap Our young members were definitely “Wild About Saving” during the April event. 504 of our members under 18 made 1,119 deposits of $147,645.52!! Many of those members colored pictures that were displayed in our lobbies for which they received a $1 deposit. Each week drawings were held in each CMCCU office and deposits of $5 and $10 were made to the accounts of 2 Youth members. At the end of the month we drew for 2 winners of 2 tickets to Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun and at the main office drawings were made from all Youth entries for 2 tickets to Silver Dollar City and for 2 tickets to a KC Royals game!! Winners of those WOF/ OOF tickets were: Riley Pritchard and Paisley McClain! The winner of the Silver Dollar City tickets was: Roy Elias Oxley and the winner of the KC Royals tickets was: Emma Marie Baker!! Congratulations kids for winning and thank you for being members of Central Missouri Community Credit Union . We hope to see a long and successful future for/ and with all of you. Volume 126 Dec 2014 CMCCU in the Community Every third Thursday Warrensburg CMCCU employees serve at the Manna Harvest Nehemiah Feeding Project; we are assisting the Senior Center with food bagging and pet food preparations for the Meals on Wheels Project; we served and assisted with cleanup at the Appreciation Dinner for the Senior Center; we have collected items for the Survival House in the lobby and we planned a carnival for the Survival House but canceled due to forecasted rain. We plan to reschedule later in the year. Sedalia employees prepared a meal and served close to 100 local residents at The Community Café. Several staff members participated in Pettis County’s 2015 Relay for Life. They have also held various fundraisers including bake sales, Pie in the Face Contest and themed-basket drawings. They will partner with Whittier Alternative School in this school year and monies raised from those events will go toward their Life Skills class as well as providing Christmas for Community Café patrons. Richmond employees and members donated $280.46 to House of Hope for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. They donated funds raised by raffling off a Scentsy and CMCCUthemed basket to the Richmond R-XVI School District’s lunch program to help pay for student lunches of low income families.
