This guide contains descriptions of items that will be auctioned off through both silent and live auctions. Any
auction items involving events with specific dates/times are noted below each item. All other events or activities
(ex. zoo or movies with a teacher) are to be arranged directly with the teacher or donor. Contact information
will be provided in the winning bidder’s prize package.

Dinner for 4 at the home of Dr.’s Will and Sally Miller
The lucky winners will enjoy a gourmet dinner prepared especially for them by Dr. Will Miller and
enjoyed in the recently remodeled State Street home of the Millers. Of course you will be entertained with
witty conversation, humor and thought provoking discussion in Dr. Will style accompanied by delicious
food and wine.
30 Minute Magic Show by Dr. Killion
Need a magic show for a child’s birthday or a special event? Doc Rock’s magic show is just what you need
to bring the fun and laughter into your event. For a minimum bid of $250.00, you will receive a 30
minute magic show filled with illusions, levitation, and productions. Who knows? You may even see a
special rabbit appear from nowhere!

West Side Football VIP Fan of the Homecoming Game (September 14, 2012)
The winning bidder will enjoy sideline pass for the entire game with a parent or guardian. When WL
kicks off to start the game or halftime this VIP fan will have the opportunity to go on the field each time to

Official Morning Announcement Assistant x 5:
Student will be able to be Mrs. Bowers' assistant with the morning announcements. Rather than hearing
the "same old voice," Mrs. Bowers will write out the announcement for a student and the student will be
able to ring the chimes and then "start the day" at Cumberland for one day. A week will be set aside for
this special activity and a different child will be the "Official Morning Announcement Assistant" each day.

Mrs. Bowers: Chair for a Day! X 10:
The opportunity to "sit in comfort" for a day will be available for your child -- if the price is right! Mrs.
Bowers will allow the child of the highest bidder to sit in her chair for the entire school day. Mrs. Bowers
will roll her chair to the child's classroom and she will adjust it to fit your child as best it can, and then she
will take your child's chair to use in her office for the day! It should be a fun switch for both Mrs. Bowers
and a student.

Mrs. Deutsch Tekki Time on Tuesday (Tremendous Ten):
Students interested in doing computer activities for 45-55 minutes after school on a Tuesday (date to be
determine by the majority of the group) 3:35-4:20. We will use a computer lab at Cumberland

Ten children are invited on a day in May, after school 3:30 – 5:30 to watch a movie, play a game and have craft
time with Mrs. Freeman and Mr. Enlow!

Greek dancing lessons for 10:
Ever want to take your kids to Greece? Well now Greece is coming to them! Give them the Experience of
what it is like to dance like they do in Greece. Happy hollow’s very own Margaret Psarros will teach 10
lucky participants in grades 4 – 6 how to dance like they do in Greece! Lessons will be held on four
consecutive Wednesdays, April 4, 11, 18 and 25th from 2:30 – 3:30 in Happy hollow’s LGI Room.

History and architecture tour of Lafayette:
Enjoy a new perspective on Lafayette! Take a history and architectural tour with experts Sherry
Anderson and Dave Ruth. Lafayette is full of architectural wonder and history that very few know about.
Begin your walking tour in historic Highland Park and finish at beautiful Riehle Plaza. (Transportation
among guests will be coordinated so there are vehicles at both ends.) Don’t miss your chance to see
another side of Lafayette. Be one of only 20 guests to enjoy this very special morning and go home

Mr. Roe is inviting 20 lucky winners to watch star wars after school on Friday, April 27th in his classroom.
Mr. Roe is an avid star wars geek and will keep the afternoon rocking with lots of star wars trivia and fun.

Cheer Clinic with Purdue Spirit Squad and Purdue Pete for 12 girls:
Make it a special Saturday by starting the day off with a 30 minute cheer clinic with the Purdue University
Spirit Squad! Followed by an appearance by Purdue Pete at a private meet and greet with Purdue Pete,
the Sprit Squad and your child/children. Event will be held April 28, 2012, 10-11am at WL gym.

Lego Robotics Workshop:
You have a unique opportunity to be a part of your own Lego Robotics competition. Be one of 20 lucky
participants to learn the basics of building, programming and competing in a private session, April 14,

Happy Hollow’s Mrs. Anderson will host a girl in her home or yours to make an outfit for herself and her
American girl doll! Your daughter will end the day with 2 fun new outfits that she and her doll can wear.
And she’ll learn how to sew at the same time! Mrs. Anderson will provide the sewing machine, scissors,
etc. Parents must provide sewing supplies such as fabric, elastic, buttons, etc.
