Emmanuel Villanis (French, 1848-1914)
mignon, late 19th century
Bronze, mid brown patina, raised on integral
rockwork base signed "E. Villanis" in cast, titled
"Mignon" to front of base, also inscribed "Salon 1896"
and with impressed numbers 56 and letters E.V. to
reverse of base.
H: 22 1/2 in.
Estimate $2,000-3,000
This is the largest of the three sizes of this model
produced.
