Welcome
A very warm welcome to our 2016 brochure for Hotel Sheraton.
We know that you are going to find it absolutely brimming
with a spectacular selection of holiday choices for you to enjoy this year.

E are adding value to our 4 and 5 night breaks
with new day excursions included in the price as well as
comedy cabaret entertainment every Tuesday. We have
not forgotten that quite a few of our regulars love dancing
so make sure you look at our Strictly Sheraton holiday and
our Sequence Dancing Specials.
Weekends are always a great time to grab a quick break
away from home and we have some amazing new
themes for you to try in 2016. Be sure not to miss out
on Swinging 60’s, Elvis or Abbamania as well as
Cilla/Liver Birds and plenty of others to tingle those
tastebuds.
We are very family friendly at Hotel Sheraton. As well
as offering fantastic family discounts, we have a Games
Room, a heated indoor Swimming Pool, a Games Chest
as well as children’s entertainment every night of the
holidays as well.
For 2016 we have even booked some brilliant themes
for all the family. Check out the Olly Murs Tribute
Weekend, Take That and Westlife Weekend and

It’s not just the Holidays that are new and exciting we
have made some exciting changes to the Hotel itself
this winter. 20 bedrooms and bathrooms have been
completely refurbished and now offer stunning
contemporary design.
The lounge bar has also had a transformation
with new furniture, carpet and lighting design
which we hope you all will enjoy.

Great food is an important aspect of your holiday whether it’s a
hearty English breakfast or a mouth-watering dinner and at
Hotel Sheraton we insist that only the best is good enough for
all our guests. The atmosphere of the dining room, the candle lit
dinners and the home from home traditional cuisine prompts
many guests to return to us time after time. Our comprehensive
wine list includes a variety of good quality reasonably priced
wines from several continents. We also provide a varied
Children’s Menu with plenty of highchairs available and
special diets are also well catered for on request.

Indoor Activities
At Hotel Sheraton we have a newly refurbished bar lounge
for you to enjoy in 2016. Relax in the comfortable and
contemporary surroundings whilst taking advantage of
the well stocked bar serving an excellent range of wines,
spirits and beers. Bar snacks are also available during the day.
For 2016 we have introduced new days out on our Midweek
Breaks (except July and August). There is fantastic Cabaret
Entertainment and Bingo every night and Tuesday Night is
Comedy Night. New themed weekends for all ages mean
there is something for everyone to enjoy this year!
The Hotel boasts a heated indoor swimming pool – so why not
hire one of our new Sheraton bathrobes and pop in for a swim
when you visit! Or you could try carpet bowls, great fun and
you don’t get wet! We even have armchair yoga – so there is
no excuse that you have to even get out of your chair to join in!
We have not forgotten those dancing feet either with ballroom
dancing lessons available from beginner level upwards.
We also have a Games Room with an XBox to hire out for a
few hours if the younger ones are getting a little frayed plus a
Games Chest with plenty of Board Games and there is children’s
entertainment every night during school holidays.

The Sheraton Rooms
By Easter 2016, Hotel Sheraton will have 108 rooms
with another 20 situated in the Sheraton Lodge located at the side of the hotel.
Guests can choose from 8 different room types from a Standard en-suite through to
a Club Executive Sea View, one of the best bedrooms available on the Prom.
Most room types are available as a Double, Twin or Family. A selection of rates will suit all budgets.
(The NEW rooms will be available from Easter 2016).

Standard and Standard Seaview
All of our standard rooms are en-suite some with bath,
some with shower and some with both. If you have a
preference please request at the time of booking.
Naturally they are all centrally heated, have tea and
coffee making facilities as well as a TV. Standard Sea
View rooms have the same facilities but have a
supplement for a sea view.
Superior and Superior Seaview Rooms
Superior rooms are a similar design to the standard
but are larger rooms with space for a sofa and table.
Some of these are sea-view facing for a further
additional supplement.
Premium Rooms (NEW)
These rooms may be standard but there is nothing
standard about the facilities, fixtures and fittings.
Brand new bathrooms, furniture and soft furnishings
make these a valued addition to the Sheraton
room types.
Beach House Rooms (NEW)
These rooms have been designed in a seaside theme,
new fitted furniture resembles the tongue and groove
of a beach hut, striped and chequered materials are in
blues and turquoise, walls are decorated with sea horses
and shells and the bathroom tiles resemble the pebbles
of the beach. We hope you will love them as much as
we do!
Club Class Seaview Rooms (NEW)
These are sea-facing rooms designed to the highest standard
with ‘Designer Guild’ fabric and ‘Porcelenosa’ bathrooms.
To avoid steps into the shower they include a wet room with
the largest showerhead we could find! They overlook the
Promenade and simply ooze luxury!
Family Character Room (NEW)
‘Blackpool is Back’ as a Great Family Seaside Resort and
we want you, our guests to know we LOVE FAMILIES. When
your children see this room – we hope they will want to
come back to Blackpool and us again and again. The room is
decorated with familiar children’s characters and a FREE TOY
is included for every child.

Club Executive Seaview (NEW)
Well if you thought Club Class Seaview sounded good – this
is goes one step further with a larger bathroom with bath
and separate shower, a flat screen TV built into the bath tiles
so you can watch and use your favourite SOAP at the same
time. Located on the third floor with spectacular sea views.
Sheraton Lodge
Just around the corner (literally 50m away) from the main
Hotel is The Sheraton Lodge. You can choose to stay here on
a bed and breakfast or Half Board rate and take your meals
and watch the entertainment in the main Hotel. We charge
you on average £5 less per person per night Half board
(because of the very short walk!)
Please note there is no lift in the Sheraton Lodge.

If like me, you have been glued to your settee watching the amazing
celebrities and professional dancers in the 2015 series of Strictly Come
Dancing and thought I would love to have the chance to do that! –then
this is the midweek break of a lifetime for you! We have managed to secure
the talents of a superb Ballroom Dancing School who will provide free
lessons on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday showing you how to waltz
with grace and beauty, perform a ‘fleckle’ that Len would be swooning for
and give you the opportunity to compete for your very own “glitterball”
trophies in a competition that we guarantee will be fun and not “murder on
the dance floor”! This week only Wednesday’s excursion will be to Blackpool
Tower Ballroom giving you a chance to practice your steps on the iconic
‘Strictly’ dance floor (all entrance fees are included). On the last night
we have a ‘Glitter Ball’ which is a presentation dinner and dance with a
performance from the sensational UK’s Professional Latin American Dance
Finalists, Joe Hopwood and Alexander Hawley who will also present the
trophies to our Strictly Sheraton Champions. Best dresses please!

the Lakes and the scenery changes to picturesque dry stone walls and sheep filled

We start our excursion at Haverthwaite with a chance to board the steam train to
Lakeside (supplement £4) or stay on the coach and get ready to step on to one of
the “Ladies of the Lake“ for a cruise to Bowness. The oldest cruise boat “The Tern”
has been taking passengers since 1891,“The Teal” in 1936 and “The Swan” in 1938.
Which one will you be cruising on today? Alighting in Bowness, you will have
plenty of time to look around this former fishing village which has now grown in to
a quaint town with a cosmopolitan mix of shops, cafés and restaurants. The author
Charles Dickens frequented “The New Hall Inn” in Bowness, so if you are looking for
some creative inspiration why not pop in for a drink whilst you are there!

Deposits are £35 per person apart from Christmas and New Year which are
£100 per person. All balances to be paid on arrival apart from Xmas and New Year
which should be paid in full by 1st December 2016.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
The Hotel will make a charge of two thirds of the price of any cancelled holiday
up to 72 hours before the arrival date.
Less than 72 hours the full charge is forfeited. We do offer an optional insurance
which is £14.50 per person except for Xmas and New Year which is £16 per person.
N.B. There is a 1% charge for all Credit Card bookings (no charge for Debit Cards).
If you have any accessibility questions please raise them at the time of booking
so we may make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.
