Canada Science & Technology Museum refurbishment In September 2014, the federal government announced an $80.5 million investment into the refurbishment of the Canada Science and Technology Museum. Exact dates TBD • New permanent Arctic Gallery at the Canadian Museum of Nature • 100th anniversary of the Bytown Museum • A Century of Community [working title] exhibition featuring eclectic, unique and beautiful works and images from the Museum’s primary collections, as well as a selection of exceptional artefacts that helped shape the history of Ottawa and Canada. • The Bank of Canada Museum (formerly the Currency Museum of the Bank of Canada) reopens in a totally renovated building on Sparks Street.
