contacted about suspicious cargo. The incident looked benign on the surface but it lead to an
investigation of interest where someone may have been testing the system. This is why with
the 1DDyears of experience that you have, if you see or hear anything out of the ordinary give
us a call.

We are facing delays with the processing of IDs. It is not caused by the Port Authority but by
the TSA who upgraded their system on April lSI and caused nationwide problems. We have

700 IDs pending in the system. We were told we could issue 12 months IDs but the

The processing time in the lD office is about 30 minutes.

Following a question from Joe Clabby and other attendees the following issue was discussed:
Some TSA agents, when using the bio-readers, are saying that agents are not authorized to be in the
building that they are working in. It appears that building 75 and 15 are not in the template and causes
this misunderstanding. The Port Authority has advised the TSA of this problem but unfortunately this
situation keeps on popping up which causes irritation on the part of all involved.
•
On a personal basis I was assigned to Security on an interim basis I am now going back to
manager of Landsides Services and Steve Brocchini is going back as manager of Security.

painter coming to paint lines in the backyard and the trailer yard. So far it has been doing

Mike Allen: Using our methodology we have been working to identify where the bottlenecks are,
how often they aTe happening and how to prevent the problems. We are coming to the end of the
analysis and we will make significant changes in the future. We are your partner and will meet with
KAAMCO, airlines and ground handlers before we implement the changes.
Jerry Mellgouchian: We have been having private meetings with the Port Authority and KAAMCO.
We will have a meeting next week where we will disclose what the improvements will be. We have
made some moves with the employees changing luuch hours and breaks. The last 10 days have been
terrific.

Concerning Post P: The port Authority was kind enough to lend us about 1 acre of land outside of
Post P. This was intended as a staging area for your containers for a couple of hours. A couple of
weeks ago there was about 100 containers laying there. Please do not stage equipment there it has to
be constantly cleaned up. There is a shortage of dollies and containers are ending up on the ground.
