Raigad Fort Cleaning Drive
On the occasion of World Environment Day, our people from Mahad conducted a cleanliness drive
at Raigad Fort. Raigad fort has witnessed glorious days of prosperity during the rule of Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Till date people flock to the fort to take a glimpse of the past glory. But with
tourists visit, comes piles of plastic waste. Our people realized this and to address the concern, they
undertook Tourist Sensitizing Session, where they interacted with the tourist and encouraged them
to maintain cleanliness by refraining from spreading litter. They also removed plastic litter from the
Fort Area.
