Bruce Green, Director of Tourism Product Development with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, was the keynote speaker. The luncheon was sponsored by the City of Jesup and was attended by a capacity crowd of over 100 members of the business community. Chamber Chairman, Jack Perrett, with Rayonier Advanced Materi- als, proceeded over the luncheon. The next General Membership Luncheon is scheduled for November. Gregg Urban of Rayonier Advanced Materials is chairing the GML J committee. He announced that plans for future luncheons will be announced soon. She also recognized the public safety officials that helped during the August 4th Yvonne Johnson, a professional violist who was a member of the former Savannah Symphony, provided the dinner music as the diners feasted on a meal prepared by Executive Chef Roland Taylor of the Wayne Memorial Hospital Cafeteria and his staff. Dedira Odum, Designs by Deidra, added the final touches to create an evening of elegance. Plans for 2014 Chamber Christmas Parade Underway Date set for Saturday, December 13 The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Christmas Parade will be held downtown Jesup at 7:00 p.m., with line up beginning at 5:30 p.m., on December 13. Parade entry is $35 for all entries. Forms will be available soon and can be picked up at the Chamber office. Entry forms are due by December 10. All businesses, churches, organizations are encouraged to participate. This year’s theme is, “Wishes, Dreams and Memories”.
