The Chamber’s General Membership luncheon held September 23
was the first luncheon of
the program year. Bruce
Green,
Director
of
Tourism Product Development with the Georgia
Department of Economic
Development, was the
keynote speaker. The
luncheon was sponsored
by the City of Jesup and
was attended by a capacity crowd of over 100
members of the business
community.
Chamber Chairman,
Jack Perrett, with Rayonier Advanced Materi-
als, proceeded over the
luncheon.
The next General
Membership Luncheon
is scheduled for November. Gregg Urban of Rayonier Advanced Materials is chairing the GML
J
committee.
He
announced that plans for
future luncheons will be
announced soon.

Vi Bennett recognized the

years. She also recognized
the public safety officials that
helped during the August 4th

Symphony, provided the dinner music as the diners

Christmas Parade Underway
Date set for
Saturday,
December 13
The
Wayne
County
Chamber of Commerce’s
Annual Christmas Parade
will be held downtown
Jesup at 7:00 p.m., with
line up beginning at 5:30
p.m., on December 13. Parade entry is $35 for all entries. Forms will be available soon and can be picked
up at the Chamber office.
Entry forms are due by December 10. All businesses,
churches, organizations
are encouraged to participate. This year’s theme is,
“Wishes, Dreams and
Memories”.
