This event is held to honor businesses who have been continuous Chamber members for more than 50 years. The honorees for 2007 are Citizens Savings Bank, Cordaro’s Restaurant and Pennstar Bank. Gary Beilman and Dan Card co-chaired the event this year. The Chamber wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Wayne Bank for sponsoring the social hour and to ChamberChoice for donating the Grand Prize of a $500 Gift Certificate to any Chamber member. Ben Tucker took home the Grand Prize this year! They began with 25 employees, and their workforce averages 130-145 skilled employees performing utility, site and structural concrete work in the northeast region of the country. After working for others in the construction industry for nearly 3 decades, Herb and Mike started their own company on January 1, 1997, and have been growing ever As the Pioneer Construction motto “Working for Your Environment” says the company has kept its focus on the environment throughout its growth. They have had 2 sessions to date. Bill Koch facilitated the first session on Leadership. Tom Shepstone was the facilitator for the second session on an overview of the county. The next session will be on November 14th, with Criminal Justice System as the topic.
