A WORD FROM CHRIS WYRICK
AND JEFF LONG
First and foremost, thank you for your support of the Razorback Foundation. Whether you are a longtime member
renewing your commitment or a new supporter, the importance your contribution plays in advancing opportunities for
current student-athletes and helping build the future of Razorback Athletics cannot be overstated.
Our more than 460 student-athletes compete against the country’s elite while serving as ambassadors of our University.
Each Foundation member is part of a passionate team of more than 13,000 Razorback fans, all dedicated to building
an athletic department and University of which we can all be proud.
In addition to serving student-athletes, a goal of the Razorback Foundation is to make your membership experience as
fulfilling as possible. In this spirit, we have created several new benefits and a streamlined giving process designed to
make your membership more rewarding. For example, you will notice a simplified Letter of Intent form for submitting
your planned 2013 donations and a list of our most frequently asked questions in this packet.
Above all else, we want you to understand the benefits you have earned and the difference your donation makes while
serving you as efficiently as possible. With the support of the Razorback Foundation in the form of scholarships and
facility enhancements, the University will continue to attract world-class student-athletes.
We encourage you to take a look at our new website, razorbackfoundation.com, for a glimpse into the future of the
organization. We look forward to sharing more exciting program enhancements with you throughout 2013.
As always, you are welcome to call, email or drop by our offices any time to learn about how the new Razorback
Foundation will support our teams and drive student-athletes to uphold the University’s high standard of excellence

Athletics in providing support to approximately 460 student-athletes in the

athletics – all while advancing the mission of the University of Arkansas.
The stated mission of the Razorback Foundation Inc. is to support the
athletic endeavors of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. The Foundation
assists our student-athletes by providing for scholarships, facilities and
various programs that enable them to realize their dreams of achieving a
quality college education while participating in athletics on a nationally
competitive level.
Being an active member of the Razorback Foundation is not only an

SUPPORTING
STUDENT-
G
BUILDING UPON A TRADITION
OF EXCELLENCE
In the early 1970s, the Razorback Scholarship Fund was established
in an effort to create an innovative way for fans to support the athletic
program while receiving benefits and recognition.
Today, the Razorback Foundation still aims to provide funding
necessary to help all student-athletes excel while providing rewarding
benefits to our members.
By supporting Razorback Athletics and student-athletes through
your tax deductible donation to the Razorback Foundation, members
demonstrate a commitment to reaching new heights while ensuring that
the past is honored and the future is built upon continued excellence
in achievement. Contributions help attract top student-athletes,
coaches and thousands of dedicated fans to the University
to cheer on the Hogs.
See the benefits we offer our members on the next page.

For 2013, the Razorback Foundation is implementing a new Letter of Intent
system to streamline the giving process for members. Supporters who plan to make
contributions to any University of Arkansas athletic program through the Razorback
Foundation in 2013 are asked to complete the separate Letter of Intent in this
packet and return it to the Razorback Foundation by March 31, 2013.
The Letter of Intent summarizes anticipated contributions to ALL RAZORBACK
ATHLETIC PROGRAMS in 2013. This amount does not include season ticket
purchases. The letter also offers the option to establish an automatic monthly
payment plan for contributions, allowing members to distribute payments over a
longer period of time and eliminating the need for manual payments.

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE
At every giving level, the Razorback Foundation offers options to ensure the greatest benefit to both Razorback Athletics
and you, our valued member.
Annual Fund
Gifts In Kind
There is no better way to support Razorback Athletics than to make
donations to the Razorback Foundation Annual Fund. There are
currently five separate Annual Funds for baseball, football, men’s
basketball, men’s Olympic sports and women’s sports. A member’s
giving classification is determined by combining the annual amount
contributed to all fund drives.
The Razorback Foundation accepts gifts in kind; however, all such
donations must be approved in advance. Please contact the Razorback
Foundation for information on providing gifts of goods or services.
Matching Funds
To be eligible, your company must match Collegiate Athletic Scholarship
Funds. Your portion of the gift must meet the required seat values and
be paid in full when you complete and submit the matching gift form.
Contact your employer for matching gift guidelines.
Endowments
The Endowed Scholarship Program within the Razorback Foundation
allows a member to provide for the future of our student-athletes.
An endowed scholarship will not take the place of gifts to the Annual
Fund, but credit will be included in lifetime giving. Special recognition
is given for members to the Endowed Scholarship Program.
Gifts of Real Estate or Securities
Real property and securities are welcomed gifts and may provide
the member with significant tax benefits. Gift securities, which can
be transferred electronically, are a good way to take advantage of
appreciated value. The Razorback Foundation should be consulted prior
to making a gift of real property or securities. We strongly recommend
you consult your tax advisor prior to making such gifts.
Planned Giving
Deferred gifts through wills, bequests and trusts can also provide the
needed funds to help Razorback Athletics. Special benefit rules apply
to gifts of a deferred nature.
Memorial Gifts
In lieu of flowers, you may suggest that gifts be made to the Razorback
Foundation in memory of friends and loved ones.
