Wholesale Source And Niche #1:
“How Women’s Addictions Can Make
You Money on eBay!”
Ok, first up we’re going to look at a gigantic market, which you may or may not know anything
about. If you’re a lady reading this now, you probably already know something about this
market and why it can be such a good one to get involved with. If you’re a guy, then you
probably don’t know that much about this market. You may even be scratching your head as to
why it’s such a hot market at all, but it is. We’re talking about the women’s shoe market.
There are a couple of reasons why it’s such a good market. First is simply that it’s a very hot
market. You can see literally hundreds of thousands of items up for sale and selling at the current
time. The other reason is the potential for building a whole business around this kind of niche.
The great thing here is that a woman who buys shoes is somebody who’ll buy another pair of
shoes and keep buying another pair, and another pair, and another pair. In other words, one pair
is never enough. That’s a good thing for us from a business perspective, because once we sell
them one pair of shoes – maybe a black pair – we can sell them the next pair, the red pair, a
couple of weeks later, or a month later, or six months later down the line.
It’s an ideal business to get involved in. There is kind of an addiction, if you like, involved with
this kind of business, when a woman gets into shoes and keeps buying pair after pair after pair.
We can build a whole business around her purchasing patterns, using a recurring sales theme.
People come back to our website or come back to our shop, so we keep e-mailing them further
details of new shoes and so on.
That’s why I’ve chosen to look at women’s shoes this month. It’s a very good market to get into
and it won’t go anywhere anytime soon. It will be around for decades. If you choose, here and
now, to get into this market, then you can do very well out of it now and going into the future.
It’s easy to assume that all women buy shoes, but remember not all of them are going to be ideal
candidates for online buying. Not all of them are internet users. In fact, the young demographic,
say 20 to 40, buy more shoes and they’re ideal internet users. That’s our perfect profile. You
can see why it’s bang on for internet marketing and eBay selling.
Now I want to share a quick word about storage space. If you think about these products, they’re
not huge items. You aren’t stocking items that require a lot of warehousing. These come in a
simple box and you can fit quite a lot of them in a fairly small space. In general, if you’re
currently operating and arranging storage at your house, which probably most people are and
which I started doing originally as well, eventually you’ll get to the point where you can’t store
any more stock in the house. Now, the easiest thing to do here is just to go and get a storage
unit.
Storage units can be arranged fairly inexpensively on a weekly basis. You’ve probably seen
them – Big Storage, Safestore, Apex – lots of different storage companies crop up as soon as you
start looking. With them, you can store stock on a flexible basis. Alternatively, you might be
best using other options, such as businesses with surplus space, that kind of thing. In that case,
the space really will be dirt cheap. So that’s just a quick piece of advice on holding your stock.
Looking at this next image, you can see a huge number of items, 662,000 at the current time, and
you can see the breakdown here. The biggest hits are heels and then sandals. Boots are big as
well.
Don’t get the impression that we need to go for branded stock. Generally speaking, I don’t like
going for branded stock, because if you stock them at home, a supplier will want to see that
you’re a retailer if you want to get, say, Nike shoes. Very often, there are a lot of imitations out
there. It’s very difficult to get hold of the real thing, and even that doesn’t always sell well.
Okay. Let’s jump right in and have a look at the first supplier lined up for this month,
bennies.co.uk. You can see Wholesale Shoes, Footwear, Sandals, Boots, Trainers, Chipmunks,
and Disney – hundreds of items always in stock. The minimum order is £100. That’s it’s not an
enormous amount and it’s pretty much open to most people. They also give free delivery on
orders over £200. Therefore, it might be worth going for the £200 option to get the free delivery.
Their mission statement is clearly displayed on the site – “We are a clearance company
specializing in buying current, end of line, and excess stocks from importers, chain stores, and
manufacturers.” This is the reason why some of the products are so cheap. After all, you’re
talking, in some cases, £2 per pair of shoes. To actually manufacture those shoes would
probably cost you a fair bit, so you can see why a clearance house can be such a good source of
products.
There are literally hundreds of items here for you to have a go at on this website. You can see the
different categories for Ladies – Boots, Sandals, Heels, Shoes & Casual. For Children, you’ve
got Trainers, Sandals, Boots. Then Chipmunks and Men’s. For now, let’s look in just one of
these categories here. We’ll look in Ladies->Shoes. Now there are five pages showing plenty of
different shoes.
As an example, here is a carton of red snake sandal shoes at £5.50 a pair plus VAT. The carton
price is £77. That’s for 14 pairs of shoes. If we go to eBay, the same shoe is being listed for
£12.99 plus £2.99 postage. They’re basically doubling the price, or a bit more actually. And this
is by a ‘Top-Rated’ seller.
It’s a very simple description for these kinds of products. In fact, that’s one point I want to
make. You don’t have to be adept at copywriting.. As you can see from that description there,
you don’t have to write a lot of copy to sell these products. They’re very simple products to sell,
and that’s because they sell on a visual basis. They sell based on what they look like as opposed
to what you say about them.
Now, you can go around and look at other shoes on this site, and again – if you look deeply –
you’ll find the same products currently being sold on eBay.co.uk.
Basically, these are selling successfully and selling at a profit at the current time on the site.
That means there’s really no excuse not to get stuck in and have a good look at this wholesaler
and what they offer. You can click to get product updates as well. They’re bringing out new
products all the time and continuing to sell.
Once you’ve got in with the supplier, try them out. Then you can think about adding other
products to your line and so on. So that’s bennies.co.uk. First things first, just have a look
around and see what you think of them.
Okay, now we are going to move on to the next supplier, Kenyons Footwear Limited. The web
address is kenyonsfootwear.co.uk. As you can see below, they stock men’s boots, shoes, and
footwear. They don’t have every category, probably because men’s footwear isn’t as hot a
market as women’s. The women have a more extensive line, and boys and girls and infants as
well.
For women, you can see a lot of flip-flops at 99p each. People who want to buy flip-flops can go
online and have a look on eBay and see what’s on offer. Bingo, it’s 99p. To you, that’s a great
price.
Then there’s the Brazilian Leather. Now, you will need to login to get access to the prices on
this site. But I can tell you now, that you will generally pay around £5 per item (per pair of
shoes).
Really, it’s the boot, I think, where these guys seem to excel. You can see they have a very
extensive range of female boots. Some of them are like ‘Ugg’ Boots, which are very popular at
the minute.
One example - for £5.95 a pair (see picture below) and that’s a very good price. You get quite a
lot of boot for your money by the looks of it. It seems like a good deal. Now if we look over
here on eBay, you can see we have similar boots, (‘Chix’ is the brand name of this supplier),
being sold by a top-rated seller at £15.99. That’s a very good mark-up. The fact that they’re a
top-rated seller tells you they’re doing something right. Take that as confirmation that these
boots are probably good items to sell. You can see these two boots are very similar to what’s
already selling well on eBay right now.
You can see here again a very basic description. Remember what I was saying earlier; that
there’s nothing difficult about selling these products because they sell based on what they look
like. People like to look at them. You don’t have to say anything to get the sale. Think of your
own experiences in shoe shopping. You buy based on what you see and what you like to look at,
not really on the basis of what the sales guy or girl is telling you.
They might give some input. They might say, “Yeah that looks good,” or whatever. Generally
speaking though, you do what you want to do. You choose what you want to choose based on
appearance and comfort. People obviously don’t have the option of trying them on here, because
they are buying them online. That reduces the selling criteria to one thing – they’re going off
what the shoe looks like. That means you don’t need much of a description.
There are loads of other products here, boots and so on. Again, it’s the same kind of price, very
low – £6.50 here for these male leisure boots or these tan boots. It’s all from a UK supplier, so
there’s no excuse if you’re worried you won’t receive the product. These guys are based in
Lancashire, so you can look them up. They’ll be open normal hours. You can have a chat with
them, see what they think, and askwhat their top sellers are at the minute. Note down their top
sellers or just look on eBay to see what’s selling of the products these guys supply. Plenty of
items come up and immediately you can see what’s selling and what you should perhaps
consider moving into first.
Okay, so we’ll turn off from this supplier. That was kenyonsfootwear.co.uk. Next, we’ll look at
another supplier. The last source this month is haworthfootwear.com. They also have a sister
site, airplusuk.net, for footwear accessories.
Again, you can see extremely cheap prices here for good quality products. These are decent
shoes, decent products.
You can see here, for example, a nice trainer, £5.50 for a 12-pair pack. They look a decent shoe,
to be fair.
Notice they use very good pictures, and you can see for yourself the difference that makes. The
pictures you take for these kinds of products are everything, because, as I’ve been banging on
about, that is the reason why people are buying.
If you look down on the left, you can see the breakdown for Ladies – Boots, Casuals, Comforts,
Slippers, Sandals, Trainers and Canvas. There are also Men’s Trainers, Slippers, Shoes,
Industrial Sandals, Children’s and then Insoles. You can consider Insoles as another kind of
market. Insoles have a reasonable market on eBay – not as big as shoes, but still a market.
So, surf around here. Have a scout around and see what you want to concentrate on. Go through
various different suppliers and test some examples. Ultimately, success is going to be a question
of what you choose to focus on first.
There are two different avenues that I think you can go down. The first is to just sell anything in
the shoe category that you think you can make a profit on. Maybe it’s the pumps. Maybe it’s the
Chix boots. Maybe it’s the flip-flops. In other words, focus on anything that’s a shoe, with no
real theme other than to sell for maximum profit. Do the research on eBay to see what’s selling
now and take it from there. That’s the first avenue.
The second avenue is to concentrate on a specific sub-niche within this niche of shoes. You
might say to yourself, “Okay, I’m going to go for ladies boots because they’re the biggest and
hottest market at the current time. I’m going to concentrate and I’m going to set up a website
around it as well. I’m going to sell some boots.”
Remember what we’ve said before. People will come back and buy other boots and other shoes,
particularly women’s shoes. Your plan might be to build a website around it, build up a
customer base and keep it rolling for years to come. That is my personal preference. Your move,
obviously, depends on you and your own situation. You might want to dive in and go for the
highest-profit items to start with and then think about the business side of things later on. That’s
entirely up to you.
If you opt for women’s boots, then you might take two or three of these styles, five from other
websites and another three from a third. With those combined, you have a line of ten or eleven
products to start with.
Then, just take it from there. Buy a pack of each. See how it goes. As some of these come up
and push out other models, get the website going. Then think about expanding into another
niche. You could move into men’s boots from there or ladies slippers or ladies casuals, whatever
it may be. It’s up to you.
That sums up the two avenues you can go down. I don’t think there’s much more to say in terms
of suppliers, because you have some great suppliers here already. They’re suppliers that you can
use and benefit from, potentially for years to come. Between these three suppliers, there are
literally hundreds of different shoes and boots. Of course, not every single one is going to sell.
Without a doubt, as with any product line, there’s always a cluster that sells much better than the
others. Then there are the second-tier ones that don’t sell quite as well, but still sell well. Below
them are the third- and fourth-tier sellers, followed finally by the non-sellers.
It’s up to you whether you concentrate on sub-niches and certain products that you think are
going to do better than others. You might get a line of 10, 20, 30, 50, or 100 products that are all
selling successfully. The potential is there as soon as you actually start with a particular niche or
a particular single product and take it from there.
As with any niche, test it small to start with. Get in a sample of one particular product that you
really like the look of and then try to sell those. Get some decent pictures. Get a reasonable
description together. At these kinds of prices, £3.50 or £5, there isn’t really an awful lot to lose.
Worst-case scenario, you can probably close them out at what you bought them for.
The world is yours, as they say. There’s very little risk in trying this out, and there’s a
worthwhile upside – the potential to start a life-changing business. So good luck to you!
Wholesale Source And Niche #2:
“An Unusual Niche That Justin Bieber
Fans Will Like!”
Now we’re going to look at a slightly unconventional business that is not as straightforward as
a simple wholesale business.
Before you groan and say you want something as easy and straightforward as possible, let me
just give you my background philosophy on “simplicity and eBaying.”
Very often, the more simple a product is to get and resell,
the lower the ultimate profit.
To illustrate that idea, imagine there’s a local shop where they sell a particular item for £10. You
can go down to that shop, buy the item at £10 and resell it on eBay at £20. Now, imagine that
local shop is in every village in the country. What tends to happen is initially someone might
start selling that product for £20, but over a period of time other people come in and sell it for
successively lower prices – £19, £18, £17, £16, £15, £14, £13, £12, until there’s zero profit left.
Since it’s so straightforward to source that product in a local shop, and it’s so straightforward to
sell it, you are tending to drive profits down to zero. It’s the “perfect competition” environment,
as they say in economics.
Very often, the more straightforward a product is to source and sell, the lower the margins will
be, and the lower the profits will be over time. What that means for you is if you can go into a
market that is a bit more unconventional, a bit off the beaten track, if you like, then you stand a
much better chance at making some real money doing it and sustaining that business over a long
period of time in the years to come.
Coming back to this month’s topic, what we’re going to look at here is an option that’s a bit
more unconventional, a bit more off the wall. It’s not as straightforward as simply going into the
local shop and reselling the product. If you’re prepared to do some background research and are
prepared to test a few concepts out, then I believe this is a brilliant opportunity. This is a
business where you could pull in thousands of pounds per month at home with a very, very
simple product. It may not be so simple to source and sell, but it’s definitely a simple product.
You can work with it potentially for years to come, so it’s well worth sticking around and paying
attention to what I have to say in this issue.
Essentially, in this issue we’re going to be talking about personalised wristbands.
As you can see in the screencap below this product listing is for a Justin Bieber silicone
wristband purple. You may have heard of this chap, Justin Bieber. He’s a young pop star.
This particular seller is top rated. The seller has sold 81 off this particular listing – not a bad
result at all. It’s cheap, only at £2, but these cost peanuts to produce too.
Let me show you this as well – Justin Bieber silicone wristband PINK.
Again, the seller has sold 7 of those things in just a couple of days. Often there are different
colours. Another one there is a purply pink. This one here is blue. They come in gold, purple,
pink and blue. If you look, they also have one for JLS, which is a pop group as well. This one
they’ve sold 19 off this particular listing. The JLS one comes in yellow as well, and they’ve sold
4 of those. They sell loads of these different wristbands.
Let’s look at this listing in a bit more detail. It’s nothing complicated or difficult at all. The item
pretty much speaks for itself and sells itself. It’s a very simple wristband.
By now, hopefully you can see where I’m going with this. These sellers are differentiating a
basic product with simple differences, like names and colours. They have it for Justin Bieber,
and for JLS (a popular UK boyband). They have it for other things as well. There are loads of
ways that you can apply this idea, names and places that you can add on. For example, consider
the place where you live. If you were in London on a typical day, you’d see plenty of people
with a t-shirt saying “I Love London”. You can apply a similar tag onto anything. “I love
London, New York, Sydney, wherever.” And of course, the celebrity issue is huge. There are
all the different pop stars out there, like Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue, JLS, rock groups,
whatever. There are film stars. There are films like Twilight, the new vampire film. There are
dozens of ways to apply this strategy of personalising a product.
Now, there is no direct source for personalised wristbands that I know of. There are, however,
manufacturers of wristbands who do add-ons and simply sew them on. The benefits of that
method are obviously that we get our own customised product, even though there might be very
similar ones out there. We get control of the product. We can order what we want.
Additionally, these items are very, very easy to store and ship. You can imagine 100 of these
Justin Bieber wristbands on a shelf in a bedroom. It’s no problem at all to box and ship them –
and away you go.
Obviously, each item is not going to make a great deal. You might make £1 per item, but the
goal is to sell fifty of these products, or even ten of these products, to start with. Then if you can
sell a couple of these per day and you make £1 on each one, and you have ten models, you’re
making £600 a month. Now, how many models you get is up to you. It could well be dozens or
a hundred. It depends on how many you can make and pay out, which ones are popular, etc.
Needless to say, you can imagine how many different options there are here. There are people,
there are places, there are bands, there are TV shows, there are events, there are holidays like
Valentine’s Day. There’s no limit to the ways you can apply this idea.
Now, on the next image here we have eBay Pulse. eBay Pulse gives you the most popular items
and keywords searched for at a particular time. The web address is pulse.ebay.co.uk – you can
look in any category you want. You can go, for example, to DVD, Film and TV and then just
see what’s working in that particular category. As an example, in DVD, Film and TV, 24 is a
popular item. It’s a popular TV series that’s being shown on Sky or Five, I think.
If people love 24, it might be a popular option for a wristband. More likely, being a TV show,
they’re going to be selling characters. The main character in 24, for instance, is Jack Bauer.
Jack Bauer might be a very popular character, so we can check him out using eBay Pulse.
Then we can put something like “I Love Jack Bauer” or “I Am Jack Bauer” on the wristband.
Then again, you might want to switch to more teenage options because those are the ones that
seem to be selling.
For example, Justin Bieber and JLS are obviously aimed at teenage girls. The kind of niches
populated by teenage girls are probably going to be more successful than the ones targeting a 40year old guy. So bear that in mind. You can use eBay Pulse to look around and see. You can go
to the sub-categories as well. You can see what’s hot in a particular category, what people are
searching for. If somebody’s searching for something like Justin Bieber, then our listing is going
to come up. If a lot of people are searching for JLS, then our listings are going to be seen by a
lot of people, just by using this technique.
Okay, so how are we going to get hold of this product? Well, firstly, I look at this supplier here,
wholesale-wristbands.com, which is in the USA. These are very good prices on high quantities.
However, I appreciate you might not want to deal with the USA, so there are UK ones as well.
This one here, for example, is adband.co.uk. They do silicone wristbands, and they also do
other promotional stuff as well, like sweatbands, where you might be able to apply this strategy.
You can source them here from 19p. Remember, they’re on eBay for a couple of quid each.
Now, obviously that 19p is going to be for larger quantities, but even if we order a 100, plus
printing for 85p, you’re doubling up or more on these particular products. You might not make
serious money in this market, but it’s a starter niche. What’s more…
…the key is having multiple colours and multiple products
across all sorts of different themes.
It could be JLS, Justin Bieber, whatever else you can think of that’s popular at the current time.
By going back to eBay Pulse and looking at what’s hot, you’ll get a good idea of what that is. I
don’t expect you to want to order 100 each time. What you want to do instead is test out first
before you jump in.
This next website here is www.team-sport-bands.co.uk. From here, you can order just
onewristband or as many as you want. Now, the reason I mention this is you could order literally
100 different designs, and get just one or two of each, and use them to test out the market.
This site is a great way of testing out and getting a feel for the market. All right, you’re going to
lose a tiny bit of money when you resell if you just get one, but once you’ve tested a good
concept, then you can go forward with a bit more confidence. Perhaps that’ll be the time to go
to somebody like adband.co.uk and get 50 or 100 or 250 with even more confidence.
Buying in higher quantities is quite interesting. If you look at the website, getting 100 costs 75p
each – that’s £75. Getting 250 is only 41p, which is only £100. It’s only £25 more to buy 250.
At 250, your profit margins go right up, because you’re only paying 41p and selling them for £2
or £3 each.
Before you launch yourself into the market straightaway, remember you want to test out the
product first. Go somewhere like team-sport-bands.co.uk and order a personalised single
item, or two or three, to see how they sell. Then take it forward from there. If you can just get
five or ten of these models selling 2 or 3 per day, or even more, then you can make a nice
sideline doing this. It’s very, very simple. As I was hinting at the start, this isn’t a difficult
business or one that can be taken over very easily by competitors, because there are not many
people who are going to think of doing things this way.
Remember what I was staying at the start. The more simple an eBay business is, or the more
simple a product is to source and resell, then generally speaking the lower the margins will be
and the lower the profits will be over a period of time. This concept, because it’s more involved,
has the potential for greater profits, and they’ll stick around, so you can probably do this for
years. As new trends come in, you can tap into them and add those names to your wristband
collection as well.
Okay, next I want to give you another idea for what to sell in this particular market.
In the image below, as you can see here, I’m on the page of a successful t-shirt seller,
johnnycotton.co.uk. Why am I here? I’m here because I had the idea of using successful tshirt designs and transferring those over onto the wristband. As an example, there’s an item
here in the middle, “Twilight Team Jacob”. That has to do with this Twilight vampire film I
mentioned earlier. So now you could have a wristband with “Twilight Team Jacob” on it, as an
example.
Basically, you want to be looking out for items in the t-shirt category that are selling really well.
What slogans are they using? What themes are working?
That’s what you want to be transferring over to the wristband market!
Here we have “Extreme Rollerskater”, “Parental Advisory”, “Extreme Scuba Diver” – all of
those are concepts that seem to be working in the t-shirt market. So use that research to transfer
over into the wristband market.
Here’s another one, “Eat, Sleep, Cook, Chef”. That kind of slogan, provided it’s selling well, is
one that we could use on the wristband as well. There’s also “Bagpipe Hero” and “Banjo Hero”.
You get the idea. Look at the top t-shirt concepts, because there are more of those than
wristbands, and then transfer them over.
I also encourage you to look within the teenage market, particularly the girls market, because
those are the people who are more likely to buy wristbands. I mean, Harley Davidson bikers or
Hell’s Angels are probably not going to wear a pink wristband, so transferring a t-shirt concept
from Hell’s Angels or something like that probably won’t work as effectively as a slogan like
“Team Jacob”, which is more applicable to the teenage market.
To find out what concepts are working well, look within the t-shirt market, specifically within
the niche of teenage girls. Then transfer those ideas over into the wristband market using some
of the suppliers we talked about, like Ad Band or the American supplier we looked at.
As you know, there’s a bit of work to do at the outset of this business. You have to test out the
concepts, look for which ones you’re going to use. It may take a week or so to do this research
and then you have to look through it and get the samples in. Once that’s out of the way, test
those samples out, which could take another week or so.
Finally, once you’ve done all that, once you have the proof that the product is going to work, you
can put in your orders with the supplier. That’s it. From there, you can run that eBay business
potentially for months or years to come, just from doing a few weeks’ work at the outset.
I appreciate that this method is not as simple as going to a wholesaler, buying and selling, buying
and selling, but I think it’s a more long-standing business, one that will work well into the
future. Although it doesn’t offer gigantic profits, you can go for steady profits and it’s a good
STARTER opportunity. For somebody that doesn’t want to do a lot of work once it’s set up,
it’s very, very easy to ship these products and handle them. For somebody who can do this from
home, it’s very part time and you can make a decent income from it.
Good luck with this. Let’s move onto the next opportunity for you!
Wholesale Source And Niche #3:
“Ooh, Matron! A ‘Saucy’ Niche That Is
Making MILLIONS Online!”
Now I’m going to look at one of the best markets to get involved with online, on eBay or on Amazon. A
number of my customers have started successfully in this business and are now selling hundreds of
thousands of pounds’ worth of these kinds of products collectively, and maybe individually as well. It’s a
very hot market and it’s always going to be around.
What market am I talking about? As you can see from the image here, I’m talking about women’s
lingerie. You only need to look at places like La Senza and Ann Summers to know those are huge
businesses that turn over a hundred million or so a year. That tells you this is a huge market, a hot market.
Women, and men as well, are buying lingerie. It’s a product that is very easy to handle, as it’s not a
heavy product.
It’s a bit edgy as well.
To ship these out isn’t a big deal at all. Lingerie, as in a bra or underwear, weighs virtually nothing and
it’s very easy for you to store at home. You can get these in and keep them in the corner of a spare
room. Basically, it’s an ideal market. It’s hot, it’s easy to handle and ship, and it’s always going to be
around. The next question is, how do we get involved in it? Well, that’s the purpose of this month’s
issue.
Let’s look in the women’s/underwear/sleepwear category just to get an idea of sales numbers. As you
can see, this category is a bit broader than just normal lingerie. There are 630,000 items for sale, and
there’s a list of brands down here. The products we’re concentrating on generally aren’t the branded sort.
If we’re talking about lingerie, we can segment it down a bit. Obviously, 600,000 items is a huge market.
We’re not going to tackle that because it’s just too big. Instead, we’ll use the term lingerie, which is
much more manageable at 43,000. Those results don’t encompass all the products in the lingerie market,
because there will be items, like corsets, for example, that don’t include lingerie in the title. All together,
we’re going to have about 200,000 items in each class of lingerie to consider.
If we look on the left-hand side of the image above, we can see some of the sellers. If we come down a
little more, we can see matching eBay shops. Some of the sellers have a thousand items in stock and
selling. If you look closely at some of these sellers, they are selling 3,000+ items per month in the
lingerie market, including teddies, corsets, tight bras, g-strings, whatever.
All sorts of things are included in the all-encompassing lingerie market, so people are making
serious money doing this kind of thing.
Remember this is just on eBay. As always, you can apply this idea in other areas as well. For example,
you can set up a website and run an entire lingerie business off it – people I know have done that. Other
people might want to put these things on Amazon. And don’t neglect the option of using the sources for
offline marketing.
I was talking to a friend of mine the other day whose girlfriend sells candles in a party plan
environment. The name of the company is pretty well known in that market. Now, that kind of approach
can work perfectly with this market. Party planners tend to target women, so again, perfect for lingerie
sales. Can you do something like that? If you’re getting these items dirt cheap, which you will be, as I’ll
show you shortly, then you can organise these parties. You’ll encounter less price competition than you
will online and you’ll make much fatter margins. It might take a bit more effort to do that, but it’s good
business sense to take advantage of all of the marketing channels for selling these kinds of products.
Looking around in the lingerie market, you’ll find there aren’t a great number of decent UK suppliers. A
lot of the lingerie vendors on eBay use American suppliers. It’s no trouble to get stock from a foreign
supplier. If you haven’t done it before, it’s not a huge issue. Orders take a bit longer to get here, but
other than that, there’s not a great deal of difference.
One thing to bear in mind when you import something is that you’ll get charged VAT, so 20% when you
import a product. You’ll pay that as it comes into the country. If you’re VAT registered, and anyone can
VAT-register a company, then you can claim that VAT back anyway. However, it’s something to be
prepared for when you’re ordering products from abroad, whether from America or elsewhere.
Now let’s move on and have a look at the first supplier. This supplier here is lingerie4wholesale.com.
They’re a worldwide distributor with loads of different stuff. The minimum order is only $100, so not a
high amount at all. That’s about £60.
First, of course, you have to register, which is really straightforward to do. Once you register and sign in,
you get access to their prices, and from there, you can just look around the site to your heart’s content.
Right now I’m looking at this orange Deep U suit for $4.25, about £3 or £4. You can see the exact same
item here on eBay for nearly £25 by one seller!
It’s quite a simple listing. There’s nothing really complex about these products. The key with these
products, as I’ve mentioned before, is to have a good picture. After all, what can you really say about a
piece of lingerie? If somebody picks out a piece, they’re interested in what it looks like above anything
else. There’s not an awful lot that you can do with the description.
Here’s another item, some fishnet anklets. These are listed on eBay at about £5, and are available from
this supplier for around £1.50.
There is a huge selection. Going through the different categories, you have Swimwear, Sleepwear,
Sexywear, Party Costumes, Plus Sizes and Lingerie as well. Then there are further sub-categories like
Baby Dolls, Bra Sets, Bras and so on and so forth. There are panties for $2 apiece, so £1.20, £1.50, that
kind of price. Again, very good pricing for these items. There’s a huge array of items on offer on this
website, lingerie4wholesale.com.
This is the place to start if you’re looking to get
involved in the lingerie market.
With all sorts of categories and a minimum order of £60, you can delve into it and just try it out for
yourself. Obviously, you don’t want to be selling stuff that isn’t going to sell. You want to check first
what kinds of products are currently selling on eBay and then make your own decisions about what to
buy. As always, test items out on a small scale. Don’t buy 60 of something just because you think it’s
going to sell, not until you’ve tried and tested it all out first. Keep those orders as small as possible. Test
the products out and then take it from there.
The next website here is bestwholesalelingerie.com.
They have mesh corsets, lace-up corsets, similar to the style we’re looking at. They’re offering $8 apiece,
so you’re looking at £5 or £6 in a lot of six. Again, this website has loads of different products. You
need to register to get access to prices, but that’s very simple to do. It takes five minutes or so. Then you
can have a look around and see what’s available.
They have the kind of stuff that’s not eccentric but edgy, shall we say – stuff that’s going to sell really
well. They accept PayPal too. They have a reasonable minimum order – for three pieces here, for six
pieces here. This is all the kind of stuff that’s selling well on eBay.
For example, here we’ve got $36 for three sets – that’s $12 each, or about £7 or so. Or here it’s $42 for
six, so $7 each. That’s very competitive prices from this website, bestwholesalelingerie.com.
The next supplier I want to show you is gltinternational.com. These guys sell bras and panties, that kind
of thing. They have a less extensive product line compared with some of the other suppliers that we’ve
seen, but they have decent prices. They have the baby dolls as well. They sell in larger volumes, but
they’re worth checking out if you’re interested in that side of the market. If you’re interested in panties –
sounds terrible, doesn’t it, but there’s no way around it – then this website is worth checking out. They
offer other products as well, like thongs, boy shorts, bikinis and so on.
Moving on, this next supplier is thelingeriecenter.com. It’s another American supplier. Basically, all of
the ones I’m mentioning accept PayPal and do international shipping. For example, this one is $6.
Again, that’s a great price – we’re talking about £3 or £4 for this item. They do loads of other stuff as
well. Plus-size underwear is a good niche if you want to go into larger sizes. Bridal, Baby Doll... Click
any one of these categories and you’ll see all the items listed. So that’s thelingeriecenter.com.
So there you have it. We’ve gone through quite a few suppliers for you to have
a look at and explore. There’s lingerie4wholesale.com – huge product line, very good prices. Then
bestwholesalelingerie.com – not as large a product line, but decent prices. Gltinternational.com,
thelingeriecenter.com, and finally jolieintimates.com. That’s five different sources for products in this
very hot lingerie market that you can get started with right away.
Obviously, choose products that you think have potential
and which are hot at the minute.
Order in small amounts and see how things go. Take it from there. Build on eBay to start, and then
Amazon, then your website. Or go for the website first if you’re more comfortable with that. Also think
about offline marketing. Remember it works well with the party plan option, which is a whole other
opportunity, and absolutely huge as well. Be open-minded. There are also shows, exhibitions, weekend
markets – any kind of event where you can have a stand and where there will be lots of women. Not
everyone will realise the potential of this option, but it’s there to be used. When you think outside the
box, you can get more business, more sales, more profits.
Thanks for reading and I encourage you to get started with this niche as soon as you can.
Wholesale Source And Niche #4:
“Tattoo-ing Your Way To eBay Profits!”
OK, so now we’re going to look at a very interesting market that you won’t think is large enough
to sustain an income. It doesn’t have a great deal of items in the marketplace, but it’s still a very
hot market to go into.
As you can probably guess by looking at the first image, I’m talking about the temporary tattoo
market. In this niche at the minute there are 5,637 items. One thing to note here is that I’ve
actually gone down into a niche of a niche – tattoos and body art are obviously a niche on their
own.
I’ve gone deep into the sub-niche of temporary tattoos because it’s a good market, because it’s
manageable. If you think about these kinds of products, they’re very, very easy to handle. It’s a
very easy business to run. That’s why I’ve chosen this niche for you (and all the niches in this
report – they are all easy to handle and deal with!)
A temporary tattoo is a small, lightweight item that can be stored in a spare room. Literally, you
can have a thousand of these in a box without any issue whatsoever. It’s an ideal market for you
to start with and, yes, it can produce a decent income as well. Just to show you what I mean,
have a look for yourself at this market. Some of the sellers have huge amounts of stock: “tiptop
looks” has 1,300 items; “creative nut farm” has 94; “temporary tats” 453; “temporary tattoos for
you” has 195. Those are the current big shops based on a number of items that are up for sale.
I’ve checked some of these guys out. You’ll find that they sell approximately 2,000 of these
every single month. At an average sale price of let’s say £3, that’s £6,000 a month – just from
tattoos! These are cheap items to buy. There’s a good markup on these items, so a good
percentage is profit. You can see for yourself how powerful this niche can be.
Okay, you’re not going to build this idea into a million pound eBay business, but you can
definitely build a decent income around it. Of course, then you have the opportunity of pushing it
into a website or an online business, which could produce even more profit. You can also look
into selling overseas and on websites like Amazon.co.uk and so on.
How do we get into this market?
First of all, you only need to use a very simple description, because obviously this is a visual
sale. I’ve spoken about this before.
A visual sale is where the person buys on the basis of what a product looks like. What that means
to you is that you don’t have to be great at writing descriptions. You don’t have to be great at
marketing, because a product sells itself based on what it looks like, its visual aspect, if you like.
This kind of product is ideal if you’re not a natural copywriter.
Now let’s turn to an actual source – this one is called temporarytattoos.com.
You can see some of the items here are 65 cents each. Bear in mind these guys are located in the
States, where it’s simple and cheap to ship these items. A temporary tattoo weighs virtually
nothing. Pack them together and the shipping will be very cheap.
They sell packs, that kind of thing, at very low cost. You’ll find similar items for about £1 each
on eBay – so you’re buying at 65 cents (about 40p) and more than doubling up.
Bear in mind too that if you buy in bulk, you’re likely to get that price down. So you may well
get that down to 30p per unit in bulk, and sell for triple that.
These people also have bigger packs, which you could probably split up: 144 tattoos for $28.
You can’t go wrong if you’re paying 15p or 30p for your items.
You can see this website, temporarytattoos.com, is a great source for all different kinds of tattoo
products. They’re an ideal place to start. Have a look around. See what you want to try first, and
then run with that. It’s very low risk, because it’s very low cost.
Now let’s take a look at another website here, tattooking.com.
These guys have more packs, so there are three in a pack here. Now, ignore these prices, $3,
because that’s the retail price on the site. If you buy wholesale, depending on the quantity, you’ll
get up to 50% off. Again, they’re about 50 cents. Here’s an armband, three for $3. That’s a dollar
each. When you’re getting them at 50% off for wholesale, it means you’re picking them up at 50
cents, again about 30p. That’s ideal, and they have a great selection. You can look though 242
different products here. Straightaway, you can have an extensive product line. You can have a
big eBay shop and you can literally change your life with these sources I’m sharing with you this
month.
I don’t know exactly how this works, but I imagine that this tattoo comes on a sheet. Split them
apart if that’s possible and sell them individually, or sell them in twos, or whatever you like. It’s
entirely up to you how you want to run your business. It may well be that when you get a pack
like this, you’ll split them apart, or you might want to sell them as a lot. You could just sell the
complete sheet as a pack. That’s entirely up to you.
You could even do variations. As an example, you could take four sheets with different designs
and sell them together as a pack. Then you could split them and sell those individually. Finally,
you could collect one of each of the individual designs and sell them as a selection pack. So if
you have three of these sheets, you effectively have three different products. By splitting them
apart separately, you get a much more extensive product line that caters to, and is attractive to,
different people and different markets. That means you’re increasing sales and putting more
money into your bank. It looks like there are minimum orders, which is ideal for you because
they’re really low – $14.95 by the looks of it.
So tattooking.com is another great site to have a look at if you’re interested in getting involved in
this market. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t if you’re looking for a business to go into. It’s
ideal in so many ways: it’s cheap to ship these things, not expensive at all, low risk, and they are
easily sold and shipped out to customers. Your customers are going to be delighted, which
means you’re going to get good feedback on all of these things. Plus, you’re likely to get repeat
business as well!
Now let’s move onto the next supplier. It says at the top June Temporary Tattoos. The actual
website is customtattoos.net. The minimum order on this one is $125, so slightly higher than the
other ones. If you look around, you can see a different selection. There are all different kinds
here. They come in small and medium, only 35 cents and 45 cents respectively. There are Harley
Davidson designs, surfboard designs – loads of designs, including packages of what you can buy.
Now, it could be that you’re allowed to use these images for your own eBay descriptions. Of
course, you want to check first, and if that’s the case, then it’s perfect for you.
You don’t have to take any pictures.
Just use the stock images they’ve already created and you’re ready to roll within days. That right
there is another benefit of this approach. Using these sources I’m sharing with you this month,
you can get going almost immediately. So that was customtattoos.net.
Now I want to move on to something different. I want to explain how to literally take over the
whole market for yourself and really clean up, wiping everybody else out. Does that sound
attractive? Then you’ll want to listen to what I have to say here.
This next website is called tatoosales.com, again, based in America.
If you look closely here, you can see they have all the standard stuff at cheap prices, 55 cents.
They have loads of different items on this website. You can spend forever looking at everything
they have to offer, and then of course, compare it to eBay and see where you want to start. You
even have bestsellers there.
But the most important feature – what I want to talk about in terms of really taking over the
market – is creating your own design. That is, if we click here on Custom Tattoos, you can turn a
captured design into your own tattoo, so you can effectively create your own product line.
Now, why am I mentioning this? Well, if you look here, you can get 1000 for only $89. That
means you’re going to be able to get them for about 5p or 6p each. Obviously, that’s extremely
cheap. It would enable you to undercut everybody else on eBay while also creating your own
designs.
Now, admittedly, you need to purchase a thousand. But can you see where I’m going with this,
right? If you can get such a low price on these, then you can really ramp up your sales by
undercutting everybody else. This method of going directly to the manufacturer is what I use
personally in my own eBay business with some success. It’s an ideal way to obliterate the
market because you’re the lowest-cost provider. You’re also offering probably the best products,
which, as a one-two whammy, is quite powerful.
I’ll show you another one here. This is tattoofun.com. They offer custom tattoo designs as well,
but in lower quantities. They are slightly more expensive, but still ideal if you’re just starting out.
As an example here, you can get 150 for $80. Typing that into my calculator, you’re looking at a
unit cost of 53 cents. Okay, that’s about the same as the others to start with, but then obviously
that’s going to get progressively less. As we get up to 300, 1,000, whatever, the unit cost going
to get lower and lower. We can test it out here – order our custom stuff, say 50 or 100, and try it
out from there.
Ultimately, the idea is to get to the point where we can order 500 at lower cost than anyone else,
with our own unique designs as well. We’ll be undercutting everybody on eBay at the current
time while offering a better product. Using this custom tattoo option through companies like the
ones I’ve listed is what gives us that power. In addition, of course, they have their own stock
tattoos as well that you can have a look at, bestsellers and so on. Admittedly, this is a more
advanced strategy, but hopefully you can see the potential of the manufacturing approach as
opposed to just wholesaling. You don’t need to start out this way, certainly, but it’s something to
think about.
By now we’ve seen a few different sellers who are moving quite large quantities of these items.
Some of them are selling a couple of thousand items a month. You might not sell that many in
your first month, but if you go out there and sell 500 tattoos in your first month at an average
price of say £3, that’s £1,500 a month. That gives you a cool profit margin, because the markup
is large in this niche.
That’s a great start for your eBay business. From there, you can expand your line, go towards the
2,000-sales-a-month mark and offer a sale price of £2 or whatever it may be. Then target £6,000
a month and so on. Eventually, if you want to take on the manufacturing approach, you can do
that too. On top of the e-Bay stuff, you can put them up on a website. You can put them up on
Amazon.co.uk. You can do all sorts of other things to expand your business once you get up and
running.
As I’ve tried to emphasize in this issue, there are plenty of opportunities with this market. They
are easy to get into because there aren’t the barriers to entry that you have in some markets.
Temporary tattoos are very easy items to handle. You can keep them in a spare room. The
shipping is that easy – it costs peanuts to send them and you can get a big box from the States
shipped over cheaply. It carries minimal risk, especially if you go for those bestsellers. Go for
what’s already selling, get similar items and you’re well on your way to success.
Remember, it’s an ideal way to get started. Look for what’s selling now, pick your stock, pick a
couple hundred quid’s worth of stuff, and just see how it goes. If you get £200 worth of stuff,
that might get you 500 tattoos. You could turn around then and sell those for £1,500 quid. It’s a
great start and you’re off to the races.
So check out this market. Check out the websites. Check out the existing sellers. Check out the
existing hot products in there. Then go through the niches – the suppliers and the manufacturers.
I’m confident that you, or if not you then somebody else, is going to run with this and do really
well off it. Hopefully it will be you!
Wholesale Source And Niche #5:
“Closeout Money-Making In The
‘Women’s’ Niche!”
Here I want to look at the women’s clothing category. I’m going to give you a list today of
different suppliers. You can pick and choose from there which one you want to go with, which
items you want to start with.
You can see from the picture that there are 2,548,385 results found for women’s clothing.
Obviously, this is an absolutely huge category.
You only need to look down your high street to see the size of this category. A lot of stores are
devoted to women’s clothing in some way. You only need to look in your mailbox, in your
catalogues, on the internet, Amazon, eBay, whatever, to see that this is a vast market. The size
and scope of it applies online and offline. Generally, if something is huge offline, it’s large
online as well, and vice versa. There aren’t many categories where you’ll find such a huge
market as this.
Obviously, looking at the number of items in isolation doesn’t tell us an awful lot. There could
be branded stock in there, which is much more difficult to get and source. It could be that there is
too much competition to make a successful go of it. Nonetheless, the numbers give you an idea
of the size of the market. This one is obviously huge.
Looking down at the next picture, we can see the breakdown a bit more clearly. Dresses
comprise probably 20% or so of the market; shirts and blouses are around 10%, and skirts 6%.
Most of the stuff here is new in some way. New items, with tags and then without tags, make up
about 70% of the market. Here you can see by brand, but in fact most of the stuff isn’t actually
branded. Non-specified items are probably 50% to 60% of the market – they’re either not a brand
or not a very well-known one.
Next we get a bit more of a breakdown of what exactly is in this market. Dresses here. Jeans are
quite a large market. Skirts and blouses, swimwear and others. If you look a bit closer, you can
see some of the sellers involved. Snoopy and Marcie, for example, are huge sellers.
Unbelievable! 95,000 items up for sale. Obviously, we can now check on what they’re selling
and their best-selling items to give us inspiration.
This first supplier I have for you is called qclothing.co.uk. You can see a bit about them here.
Let’s have a look in the categories. They carry quite a lot of items and they’re based here in the
UK, in London. There’s a section just for ladies. Let’s take a look at dresses. You can see how
cheap these items are. This one here, for example, is £4 for a dress.
Now, if you actually get clothes like this manufactured, I imagine it’s going to cost a few
pounds. In that sense, it’s clear that £4 is a great price. By the time you actually get something
manufactured – after they manufacture it, import it, etc. – it might cost you close to that amount
anyway. Then you still face the risk of actually selling it. It’s a ready-made deal here. Maybe the
unit cost is slightly higher, but even so, it’s still very cheap. You can click on any of these, of
course, and take a closer look at sizes and other specs. It’s £60 a pack, so 15 in a pack.
The reason these are so cheap is that they were originally made for C&A, the department store,
and for whatever reason they’ve gone out to be sold off in bulk.
Then there are different sizes. This is all this seller does. They offer similar items to this and sell
them off.
Let’s go back and look at a current example – a blue miso dress.
You can see this item is being sold for £5 a piece – and it’s on eBay for £12.50. Not a bad
return to be sure.
Honestly, it’s quite difficult to go wrong. If you’re doing your research and investigating a
particular market, and you can see similar things are selling well for other sellers, then there’s
not an awful lot of risk in trying these things out. Worst case, we go for this item here and for
whatever reason, let’s say we misjudged the market, we can’t sell them. We get a pack in at £48,
£3 each, and then our Buy It Now price of £9.99 doesn’t bring in buyers. In that case, we can just
quote a lower price or put them on auction. You’d have to be doing something quite wrong if
you don’t get £3 for that. What I’m saying is, even in the worst case, you should get your money
back, barring some sort of disaster. There’s very little to lose. And in the best case, you could
have ten of these things on the go and selling successfully. Ten of these items could easily start
your eBay business off right.
Let’s look at another supplier, J & N Herz Ltd. The web address for this one is ladies-menschildrens-clothes.co.uk. You can see here similar kinds of fashion. They have PayPal. They
have loads of different items with prices varying from £4.98 here to £7.98 there. You can see the
original chainstore price was £45. That’s an 82% saving, which in my book is pretty substantial.
These guys do men’s fashion as well, as suggested by that extremely long web address, ladiesmens-childrens-clothes.co.uk. They also do children’s fashion and babywear. There’s plenty to
consider here, as well as free shipping on orders over £500.
Let’s move on to the next supplier. This one is wearuk.co.uk. You can see here some pictures of
the dresses they’ve got. Again, it specialises in ex-chainstore merchandise. For example, these
people sell M&S dresses for very cheap money.
Now, let’s take a look at the last supplier I’ve got lined up for you this month. This is
catsclothing.co.uk.
They have excellent prices, £8.75 for a full maxi dress. Dresses like this will go for £20 on eBay.
If you read a bit more about this company, it tells you they have over 18 years in the wholesale
trade. It’s an end-of-the-line service store, which is why it’s so cheap.
You can see here they carry high street retailers such as Warehouse, New Look, Miss Selfridge,
Dorothy Perkins, River Island, and so on. Special deals might also be worth investigating. They
have shorts, tops. You can see here a black-beaded top, £35.70 for the pack. That means it’s
£5.95 apiece. Again, great prices on ex-chainstore items.
I’m sure you will find these items on eBay, like we saw with the blue dress. It can be tricky to
find the exact ones, because they’re not always listed as you might expect, and it’s such a vast
category. Going through all of it makes individual styles hard to find. The best thing to do is look
at the top-sellers. What are the hot items? What’s selling well? Look for what is highly ranked in
the search results on women’s clothing, tops, dresses, or whatever. Similar things are the ones
that you want to go for.
At these kinds of prices, between £2.25 and £5.95, it’s pretty hard to go wrong. If you get your
timing right, making sure it’s based on your market research of what’s selling now, then you’ll
be making a good profit. You’ll have something pretty solid with these kinds of prices.
One other thing you might want to consider is buying stock on a sample or retail basis first, just
to try it out. Let’s say you have a blue dress. What you could do is buy an item from an eBayer at
full price and then simply try to resell it. Obviously, you’re going to lose money doing that,
because you’re going to buy it for say £15. However, then you’ll know for sure that you can sell
it using your description, your picture and whatever else. If you know you can get it for £5,
bingo! You can go on and buy 12 of them with full confidence. You can apply that trick across
the board to any niche and to so many of these items. Find some that are very similar. See if you
can sell it at a certain price, knowing that you can now go and get it for £6 apiece, or whatever.
You’re set! You’ve tested very small. You’ve lost a tiny bit of money doing that, and then you
can roll out 10, 20 of these items, or whatever you want. Off you go and your eBay business is
launched.
I’ve given you quite a few sources this month, so plenty to go ahead with. There are literally
hundreds of items, and as we’ve seen, these are really cheap. They’re selling on eBay right now,
so there’s absolutely nothing stopping you from trying these items out for yourself and launching
your new eBay business.
Wholesale Source And Niche #6:
“The World’s Greatest Wholesaler?”
Dear Reader,
Okay, let me firstly ask you a question which is probably quite straightforward to answer and it’s
simply this: Have you heard of Alibaba.com? (Don’t worry. That ISN’T the ‘Wholesaler’ I’m
referring to today.)
Now, I’m sure most people listening to this will have heard of Alibaba.com. It’s simply a big
trade site.
Now, you’ll be glad to know I’m not going to sit here and write about Alibaba.com, because
pretty much everyone knows about its existence, I think.
Alibaba is simply a middleman’s service where manufacturers can post out their products. You
can go in there and search for practically anything you can think of, and then get in contact
through the site with manufacturers.
Now, there are a couple of issues with alibaba.com, not great issues if you are careful.
And I still think it’s the best resource for sourcing the cheapest possible products on the face of
the planet. But there are a couple of potential issues.
Firstly, there are a lot of, not relatively, but in quantity, people that will rip you off. So, as an
example, if you go out and try to buy branded stuff, then invariably it’s fake or other people will
just run off with your money. Now, an easy solution for that is simply not to try and buy branded
stuff like Apple stock, Sony Playstations, Xboxes, that kind of thing - and just obviously be
careful as well.
Now, the second ‘catch’ that comes with it is that, in some cases, you have to buy in fairly large
quantities. You might have to buy 100 units or something or 200 units or 500 or even 1,000 of
something, if you’re going through a manufacturer. It’s not always the case because you can use
trading companies and wholesalers through there, but it can be the case.
So, below I’ve just included a quick sample picture from the ‘Beauty and Personal Care’ section
of Alibaba.com.
You can go on there and you can search for any new product. You can just browse categories as
well. So you can see in this picture, we’ve got everything here from artificial hair to body art to
makeup tools to weight loss products. There are literally thousands and thousands, tens of
thousands, even millions of products available on this site and at some of the best possible prices,
as well.
But there are a couple of issues as I’ve mentioned.
Now, what we’d normally do if we are operating as ‘Kommandos’, if you like, to make money
using alibaba.com, what we’d normally do is go on eBay.co.uk or online and find a market
where people are already selling successfully.
IMPORTANT NOTE HERE: I will refer to selling on eBay but that also means you
can sell online, through websites, through Amazon.co.uk, or ‘offline’ through retail, through
shows, or whoever else you may want to sell these products! It’s entirely up to you. But for the
sake of EASE here, I will refer to selling them on eBay – the same principles apply though
WHEREVER YOU decide to sell these products!
Then we go out after we’ve established that market, what the market is and what kind of
products are selling well, we then go out and locate a product to sell into that market and use
something like alibaba.com as a potential starting point for sourcing products.
As an example, let’s just say, we go on eBay or online and there’s a great market for walkietalkies on there. I’m sure there is. Now, we say to ourselves, “You know, this is a good market.
People are selling successfully. There are not many sellers doing this, either. Now this is ideal.”
If we can find a supplier for walkie-talkies, we can do something similar. But obviously, we need
to find a supplier first.
So, invariably with a product like that, a kind of electronic device, invariably Chinese suppliers
or manufacturers will have the best prices. So, Alibaba.com is ideal for us as a starting point to
source products to get into that market. Frequently, as we know, China’s got a lower
manufacturing cost so they usually supply the cheapest possible products in most but not all
categories. So, I just ran a quick search on alibaba.com for walkie-talkie and sure enough a few
different suppliers are coming up with literally hundreds of different products.
‘
But some of them here have 100 sets or 50 sets, as a minimum order. And if we’re testing out a
product or if we’re just wanting products to re-sell, you may want to just buy 5…just to take it
slow and have a diverse product line as well. So, you buy 5 of this, 5 of something else, 5 of
something else, and so on. So, what am I getting at here? Where am I going with this?
Well, there is a new kind of innovation, if you like, that Alibaba just recently introduced. And
it’s called Alibaba Express. You can go online. You go to Aliexpress.com – it’s a-l-iexpress.com. And you can check it all out for yourself.
Now, Alibaba traditionally has just been the middle man, if you like, in the sense that they will
introduce or let you find suppliers. It’s a bit like Google, really, for products and suppliers. And
they’ll hook you up then with various suppliers or you can do your own research from there.
Now, AliExpress.com is a bit different because they’re actually now getting into the wholesale
business. So, you can buy actual products through their Ali Express facility, and you can do so in
very small quantities, as well. So, I’m not sure exactly what deal they’ve done but they’re not
actually manufacturing it themselves. They’re still in a sense a middleman.
But before now, you’d actually go on Alibaba and contact manufacturers and then do deals with
them directly through e-mail, or phone or whatever. Now this way, through Ali Express, you just
go on there and BUY PRODUCTS DIRECTLY.
It’s like eBay almost but for manufacturers and wholesalers. You go on there and you can just
buy directly through that site!
You don’t have to do the ‘hard work’ of contacting manufacturers yourself, of getting in contact
with them and sending payments and all that kind of thing, and, of course, as well as I’ve
mentioned, the benefits as well are the very low minimum orders – 1 to 5 units or so for
literally scores of thousands of different products (all through this new site, Aliexpress.com).
If you have not done so already, just have a look at this website Aliexpress.com.
So, you can go through and it shows you how exactly it is working. And on the first page as well,
it’s got top categories – cellphones, computers, networking, and so on. And also, it has the top 5
wholesale items - sliding mobile phone is on that currently. Also, it’s got a bit more about
escrow and buyer protection.
Okay. So, what I want to do now is just do a sample idea, if you like, just to see how it might
work in practice.
So what I’ve done is just take a sample product from eBay. There’s no particular reason for
choosing this product at all, almost random. And you can see from the pictures, a glow-in-thedark watch. It’s a fairly hot market. And you can see from these listings here, there are some
branded ones and some ‘non-branded’.
So, there’s a hot market. People are making this pay by the looks of it. Now, you see, what you
might do from here is you might firstly go and try to find a UK wholesaler or even a US
wholesaler.
But the better approach will be to go to Alibaba.com and try to find the manufacturer - because
they’ll have a lower price obviously than a wholesaler. Now, the catch, if you like with that, is
you might have to order a 100 or 1,000 or so for them to deal with you. You might not want to
order that many. You might even have to order more than that.
But with Ali Express now, we’ve got the potential to order much smaller quantities which
enables you to get a foot on the ladder, if you like, much more easily. So, let’s take a look at the
next shot of glow-in-the-dark watches up on Ali Express….
So, all I’ve done is type in ‘glow watch’ into the Search Bar on Ali Express. And as you can see
from the page here, it has come up with 31 wholesale results in all regions for glow watches.
And you can see prices by the looks of it; $1.21 for the top item and then the next item is $1.09.
So, you’re looking at 70p, 80p.
And you can see as well, it’s got time left remaining, “Time Remaining: 10 days” on these 2 on
the page here. Now, I don’t know exactly how long these listings last. I’d imagine 30 days. I’m
not sure why they’re using time limits but there we go.
And you can see these items here that have a 100 pieces in their lot. So, that’s $121 in the case of
the top lot. So, in this case, because it’s a cheap item, they’re packaging 100 but it is still only
£77 to £80 or so. So, that’s not a great deal to start.
Now if you went straight to a Chinese manufacturer, because it’s such a low-priced product, you
might have to order 1,000 items. Now, chances are you don’t want to risk getting 1,000 in
because what happens if they don’t sell as well as you hoped?
But with this new Aliexpress.com, it’s a lot more manageable the risk because I’m sure you can
see that by just buying 100 of these...well, it is only going to cost you £70 to £80 or so, which is
not a great deal in the grand scheme of eBay trading. So, it’s a great low risk opportunity to try
these products out and, of course, to source these kinds of products as well.
And it’s not just about testing. It’s also about sourcing and finding good suppliers as well. So,
the key point is we can get items cheaply but without the huge quantity - and we can get direct
access to wholesalers, manufacturers in China. So all in, it’s a great resource by the looks of it.
Now, the interesting thing about it actually in terms of its design lay-out is they appear to have
just copied eBay directly. I’m not sure if there’s going to be any kind of legal challenge to this by
eBay - but it’s remarkable how much they copied from eBay! Obviously, they’ve taken a proven
formula and I’m sure they’ve done all the legal side of it and worked out that they can get away
with it. But if you look at it, you’ll see how familiar it is to eBayers. And for you if you’ve used
eBay, it’s so ideal because you’ll see how familiar it is. Maybe that’s why they’ve done it.
So, let’s just return to our watch example. I’ve got the glow-in-the-dark wristwatch again. You
see, I’ve opened up one of our listings here and then just look at that page. Now, okay, the color
is different than eBay but you can see how similar the layout is to eBay…
If you look at it they have the ‘Buy Now’ button, instead of the ‘Buy It Now’ button which eBay
use. On the right it’s got ‘Supplier Details’; it’s got feedback, some positive feedback. It’s got
‘contact supplier’. The layout and the picture and everything, the way they price themselves, is
all very, very much like eBay.
And also, to point out as well they’ve even copied and used exactly the same term of ‘Best
Match’ – eBay’s search algorithm. It’s the way that items (mostly now by default) appear in
search results.
So, if you type in ‘glow watch’ in eBay’s best match system, it brings up the most relevant items
to your search. It’s their proprietary thing and appears that Ali Express has just swiped out that
slogan. I’m not sure if the programming is the same but it seems to be laid out the same way as
well. So the bottom line is it is pretty much like eBay, so you shouldn’t have too many issues
hopefully, working out your way around the site.
Now, one of the great things about the site actually is - if you look closely on this page - you can
see the positive feedback the seller has got. And that’s the key point – it has feedback ratings.
Now, one of the big issues for buyers of product is the reliability of the particular supplier you’re
dealing with. Obviously, there’s a case of lack of information on our part because you don’t
know whether that supplier is reliable. They’re in a different country, often.
But what Aliexpress.com has done is that they have introduced their own feedback system. And
it works much better, I think, on this kind of level because transactions are much more regular.
So if you’re dealing with a large manufacturer, you might only have a few key customers, that
kind of thing. It might not be that they get regular feedback from loads of people. But because
there’s much more frequent transactions on Aliexpress.com, and I suppose volume of buyers on
here, this feedback system can work quite well.
And another good point here as well, I want to point out, is you can see that there is a button in
there in the previous picture that says, “View My Store.” So from there, we can see, we can view
the store of the seller. Now, what’s the point on that?
Well, if the supplier here is selling glow-in-the-dark watches, they’re going to have other
models. They might have other products as well or other hot products that you can check out –
combing shipping potentially as well. So, once you have found your one good supplier - bingo!
As a real-life example, I’ve got one particular supplier in China which supplies me with a
product I’ve had for years. But they also stock; I should imagine off the top of my head, about
another 30 or 40 products along a similar kind of line.
Now, as it happens, I only order 3 – I’m trying to count – I think 3 products from this particular
supplier. But I’ve got the option, if I want to, of getting another 20, 30 products from this
particular supplier and that would be more than ample to last for a very long time.
So, the point I’m making is once you’ve found a good supplier, you’ll have enough different
products to last you forever, practically. So, there’s the advantage of having the “View My
Store” button so you can check the other items they’ve got, potentially look into those and
buying those in as well.
Now, another feature of this site, and you can see this from the pictures as well, is they’ve got
something called ‘escrow buyer protection’.
Now, just a quick explanation if you don’t know what an escrow is - it’s basically a holding
facility. So, once you’ve sent the money for, let’s say, these watches, let’s say you sent £100, the
escrow party will hold that money and be an impartial middle man. It is only when the products
are shipped to you or maybe delivered and you’re happy with it that the escrow company, the
guys in the middle, release the payment to the supplier.
So, you can see the security of having an escrow service. It’s basically a middle man, an
impartial middle man, who holds the money whilst the transaction takes place and is
consummated. So, it’s ideal and offers some further protection as well.
You’ll also notice from the picture, coming back again to the glow-in-the-dark watches, you can
set the quantity. You can have pretty much any quantity you want. You can have lots but you
can choose as many lots as you want. Well, it has very low minimum orders, meaning anyone
listening to this now should be able to get in and start ordering and trying these things out.
And finally as well, another feature of the service is you get full secure tracking on the orders so
you know when it’s shipped, where it is, and so on.
We can check the store out and we can check the feedback as well. Just looking at this seller’s
feedback, they’ve got really good feedback from people all over the world. You can see, it even
gives you the little flag to illustrate where the buyers come from and that they were satisfied with
the purchase.
So that’s obviously a very reassuring thing and again; it takes away the edge of having to worry
about, “Is this supplier any good or not?” It’s a great thing, I think, this service and the way
they’ve done it.
Okay. So, let’s move on now and think about how you’re going to actually start doing this for
yourself. Now, what is the thing to do once you’ve looked at this site for yourself? You know
about the existence of this site now. You’ve seen how potentially powerful it is for sourcing
products and finding legitimate supplies. What do you do next?
Well, the first thing you should really do is start with the market itself. It all starts on
eBay.co.uk. It doesn’t start on Ali Express or alibaba.com or really anywhere else. It starts on
eBay.co.uk and it starts with you finding those popular products which are already selling
well; seeing what’s working best on eBay at the current time – glow-in-the-dark watches is just
one quick example, walkie-talkies is another one.
But literally, thousands of products are out there on eBay that are selling extremely well now and
will continue to sell. And in the future, other products may come in and start selling well for
whatever reason – a change in fashion trends, a change in economic circumstances, or whatever.
But we’re always coming back to looking at the market first, seeing what’s selling, what’s
popular, and what people are buying now. We’re going to see if we can get a similar product
that’s preferably better in some way, cheaper in some way, offers a greater benefit in some way –
well, preferably a combination of all those three things. And then, we’re going get that product
in and describe it powerfully and list and market it well, as well.
Now, with whatever you do or whatever market you’re going into whether it’s glow in the dark
watches or whether it’s more conventional wrist watches, whether it’s – I don’t know – drill bits,
whether it’s microphones, whether it’s phones that look like the iPhone, whether it’s cheap
plastic bottles, whatever it is that you think you want to go into in which you can see on eBay
selling well…
…the key thing to do is test it first because, even with the best of intentions, you can’t always tell
what’s going to work and what isn’t going to work. It just depends on so many different factors.
And that, of course, is the benefit of using something like as Ali Express because you can order
small. You can test out concepts very quickly, very cheaply.
Well, what you might want to do is jump in and order a small amount of product because if you
get things really cheap on there, then what’s the worst that can happen - really? Unless you’ve
really done something wrong you should be selling them for what you’ve paid for them. Even if
you really screwed up, you can just put them on an auction format and list them really cheaply
and get rid of them. Things have to be really quite, quite wrong for you to not be able to get your
money back. So, with that in mind, you might want to just test a small lot out on the site Ali
Express and go straight in rather using my quick-fire testing method. That’s up to you.
Whatever you do, really, you want to be testing several concepts and products and listing them
aggressively to find that initial winner or find that second, third, fifth, tenth winner wherever you
are now with your eBay career. So, you want to be testing out different concepts, different ideas.
You don’t want to just get in one product and list it once, in one category and then, just kind of
forget about it if it doesn’t work. Think about how you’re going to promote it, how you’re going
to list it, in what category are you going to list it, are you going use a “Buy Now” or are you
going to use an auction form with a “Buy Now” attached - or are you going to just use an auction
and let it run with no reserve?
You want to be testing different ways of doing it and you want to be using a powerful
description. Remember, that whatever you’re selling really needs a good description or, if not, a
good description, at least a really great picture. I use, as an example, the glow-in-the-dark
watch. Okay, that might not need a stellar description written by a top copywriter because it’s
such a visual thing. People are buying it really for what it looks like.
So, with a product like that then make sure obviously you’ve got a really great, crisp picture of
the product and, of course, a nice little description as well. But with selling other products –
maybe like a walkie-talkie – yes, you need a picture but also, I think, you need a really good
description as well outlining how it works, how it’s better than anything else, the dimensions and
the capacities and features and benefits of it. You can’t do that very well with a glow-in-the-dark
watch because it’s just there, just existing and it doesn’t really have that many benefits to it!
But in instances where there’s a lot to describe, if you like, then you should really go all out and
create a lengthy, and rich, and full of benefits, description. And obviously, as we say,
aggressively promote in those categories using different approaches – “Buy It Now”, auctions,
and so on.
Just some warnings here about using the site and just, in general, as well, about using potential
suppliers in China. And this applies as well to this Ali Express. Now, generally speaking, I
avoid personally buying in branded stock from China. What do I mean by branded stock?
It’s simply a product with a brand on it. So, Apple is an example of a brand or GHD or Nike.
Any branded stock, I avoid buying from China because invariably it turns up and it’s fake. Or it
doesn’t turn up at all in some cases! And that would apply as well to AliExpress. I personally
wouldn’t buy ‘branded’ stock on there for these reasons.
(If it does turn up though, people might not even realise that it’s actually, unfortunately, a fake.
And they might go even for months or years selling that without realizing it was even a fake.)
So, don’t go on there and think, “I’m going to buy three Apple iPhones or two Playstation 3’s
and an Xbox,” because they may be dodgy. Often enough, they’ll probably be fakes in some
way or there’ll be something not quite right with them.
Now, as you’ve seen, we looked up glow-in-the-dark watches and those aren’t branded, they’re
just kind of generic glow-in-the-dark watches, with no brand on them.
In my opinion the non-branded side of things - that’s the better approach, I think. You’re pretty
much assured of not getting a fake because there are no unbranded fakes. There’s no brand on it
so it can’t really be a fake of anything. And those people that supply a number of new products
are usually much more legit than the people that purport to offer the real brands.
So, generally speaking, stay away from the branded stuff. Go more for the ‘non-brands’.
Second warning: even though this is a small buyer’s site, don’t go out and rush in and buy 100 of
something straightaway. Test multiple products and concepts. And that’s the huge advantage of
this site. You can test those things easily which you can’t as easily do perhaps if we’ve got
something like alibaba.com, the main trade site.
Make sure you use a secure payment method. Now, they’ve got the escrow service on here but
use something like a credit card or PayPal if you can. Why? Because if something does go pearshaped for whatever reason, you know, maybe the ship goes down or something over the Pacific!
And what do you do? Well, at least you’ve got something. If you pay with your credit card or
PayPal, you can reverse it. So, make sure you use a secure payment method. And don’t try and
transact off the site. So, don’t kind of let someone say to you, “Can you send me this as a money
transfer at Western Union or something like that?” without being them subjected to feedback
because that’s asking for trouble. So, bear that in mind as well.
But don’t get put-off by these warnings – it’s still a great site to use. It’s just my ‘job’ to issue
you with the potential pitfalls as well!
IMPORTANT NOTE AS MENTIONED EARLIER!
I’ve talked about using eBay throughout this report, but as I mentioned earlier you don’t need to
sell on there! There are tons of other ways to use this wholesaler – selling offline, on Amazon or
through your own, independent website. The choice is yours!
So stop reading this now. Get into some hot markets online OR offline. And then get on this Ali
Express – take the tour, investigate some of the sellers, see what they’re selling, get that first
product or products in, take it from there.
I’d love to hear of your success stories using this new service.
Wholesale Source And Niche #7:
“The UK’s CHEAPEST Source of Hot
Products?”
Okay, this is a great STARTER opportunity if you’re new to eBay and looking to get in the
game.
I don’t think it’s a business that you will be able to build into a huge enterprise – but it can
definitely get you started. It involves something called the ‘Daily Deal’, but it’s not actually
using the Daily Deal to sell products.
It’s using it to buy products.
Now, let me just explain a bit if you don’t know anything about what the Daily Deal is. This was
recently introduced on to eBay. And that’s why this opportunity has not been about all that long.
Now, if you go to ebay.co.uk, go to the homepage at the top of the screen, on the top left, you’ll
see a little kind of button that says ‘Daily Deal.’ And actually, on the homepage right in the
middle, you often see the Daily Deal featured. What is this then?
Well eBay goes to a seller, usually a big seller, and gets them to offer a product at a very, very
cheap price for one day (that’s why it’s called the ‘Daily Deal’). And often, it’s 50% or 60%
below the RRP. So a product that usually might be £40, might be selling on the Daily Deal at
£20 or so.
So you can probably see where I’m going with this. In a lot of cases, not all, but in a lot of cases,
because the products are offered so cheaply on Daily Deal, you can actually buy those products
and resell them. And what we’re going to look at throughout are some examples of current
Daily Deals or past Daily Deals that you could have simply bought on the Daily Deal and just
resold for profits.
So as I have explained, the Daily Deal is just this really amazing offer where eBay gets together
with a big seller, and they’ll offer something for a ridiculously low price.
Now, the reason they do this is simple: eBay generates a fee out of it and the seller in question.
The seller might have a product that maybe they got really cheaply, maybe it’s one they want to
get rid of, maybe they just want to build up a bit of an image or build up a bit of a mailing list.
For whatever reason, they offer a really cheap price and there’s nothing wrong with these
products.
And often, I’d say, they’re really hot products and often branded stock as well.
So if you want to check today’s offer you can go on pretty much any day and source a product
this way. If you want to check today’s Deal, just go on eBay now and then just log on the
homepage. You’ll see the link Daily Deal over the top towards the left. Or if not, just in the
middle of the screen where it says ‘Today’s Daily Deal’ and you’ll have a link. You can click it
and see what’s on offer for today.
Now, one of the things about Daily Deal is it appears that the postage is always free - so you've
got to factor this in when I talk about buying to resell shortly. Bear in mind that when you get the
product from your supplier you get it shipped free as well. So the price is even better really,
because, usually, to get a product from a supplier, you have to pay the postage.
So you want to check today’s offer or you can check tomorrow’s or the day after’s. There’s a
new one every day. Check the price and check the P&P which will be free. For example here,
let's say we get something there for £20. Let’s just say it’s a guitar tuner.
Now, it might be £20, and the recommended retail price is £50. And all we need to do is once
we’ve seen that Daily Deal, go on to eBay completed items and see what the item had sold for
in the past, or even just see what it's currently selling for now. Because in the case of our tuner, it
might be £20 in the Daily Deal, and you might just type in that keyword into the normal search
bar. It might come up elsewhere on eBay for £35 and that’s a very common thing as you’ll see
throughout this special report today.
The other thing you can check is ‘completed items’ as I mentioned. These are listings of what
has sold before on eBay. And the way you do this is on eBay homepage again and if you look
towards the top, the very top of the screen, it'll say advanced search. If you click that, type in the
name of the item and then hit completed listings, it’ll come back with items or listings that are
finished and you can check what the item has sold for in the past. The image below is of the
Completed Listings/Advanced Search page…
So, obviously, what you want to do is buy your Daily Deal for obviously much less than what it
is currently selling for on the ‘normal eBay’ (i.e. NOT the Daily Deal), and really take it from
there. So if the current Daily Deal on the guitar tuner was £20, it might be going for £35 on the
‘normal’ eBay and, bingo, you can get it shipped for free as well. So it's going to cost you £20 all
in. You can then turn around and sell them for £35.
And remember, we’re not just doing this really once. We can buy a few items from the Daily
Deal. We could buy a few of the tuners or whatever and then, two days later or whenever, a new
Daily Deal comes up that we like the look of, buy that product as well. So after a week or so,
we’ll have quite a lot of products here to go out and to resell. We want to be buying obviously
multiple products per week.
And what you also want to be doing is going with the highest returns. So in the case of our tuner,
it was £20 and reselling it for £35 and that’s a good return. It’s not far off doubling our money in
terms of what the sale prices are anyway. But you could find another item where it’s £20 and it’s
£45 on eBay. So obviously, we want to go where we can get the biggest bang for our buck, the
highest returns.
And you’ll know that over time, if you use this strategy, this technique over a period of time,
you’ll get to know what the really good deals are, where the highest returns are. And, obviously,
you want to concentrate on those.
Okay. So what I want to do now, is I want to look at some examples of REAL-LIFE Daily Deals.
Let’s look at the first example which is a Daily Deal for this Fossil Gents Watch. See image
below…
You can see here this particular Daily Deal was priced at £23.99. You can see free P&P and if
you look at the bottom right of that image, it says 305 sold. And if you look below and the arrow,
there is an item there, the same item you can see, for £44.95. So we’re getting a lot for £23.99 all
in including postage and then we can offer it up for not far off double our money.
It’s not as if the listing at £44.95 is a ‘dud’ either – there are items selling from that listing at the
£44.95 price. So that’s a fantastic return, a great branded product that you probably couldn’t get
anywhere else for this kind of price and you can just buy one and have a go with this strategy. Or
you can obviously buy more. This is just one Daily Deal.
Okay. Let’s go to the next page and we’ve got another example. So this one is £39.99 and you
can see underneath, £59. And if you look at the top listing in the Daily Deal at £39.99, it’s free
P&P again and there’s 18 sold by this seller. And then, below that the £59 listing you could see,
at the bottom right it says history ‘9 sold’. So again, they are selling at this higher price - £59, so
you make a very nice £20, or so, net profit on the item just from buying from the Daily Deal
which absolutely anyone can do.
In this case, again, it’s a branded product. You can see for yourself just what a good value these
products are. And if you consider the one underneath, the £59 one, that is probably a very good
price anyway. Generally speaking, eBay prices are quite a bit below retail prices so a £59
product there might be £79 in the shops, £89 in a normal retail outfit. So you can see how
ridiculous the £39.99 offer is, really, it’s absolutely dirt cheap.
Okay. Next up is a Logitech item (next page). Again big brand name keyboard and look at the
returns here, £19.99 at the top, again with free P&P, 179 sold. It's a laser wireless keyboard with
a mouse and you can see there's no doubt that it's the same product. You can see at the top
Logitech Mac S530 and you can see at the bottom Logitech S530 Mac £49.95.
The bottom listing – the ‘real eBay’ listing (not Daily Deal) - still sold 4 at £49.95 so you can
see the spectacular returns.
If you input £20 into your product and then just resell it for £50 that is a great return on the
product, especially when you’re only buying as little as you want. Usually to get that kind of
return, you’d have to be buying a lot of products (in bulk).
Look - I’m not saying that with Daily Deal you can profit every single day. But
I’m sure now, if you look through it, you’ll probably be quite inspired and motivated to have a
look yourself and to get involved with this idea.
There’s no minimum order. Anyone can do this from home. You don’t need an account. You can
start tomorrow. And you can check it in advance to see what returns you're going to make on this
(by using ‘Completed Listings’ searches).
One thing I would do is always check out these deals in the morning. Now, the reason I say that
is because, well simply, because they sell out very quickly.
And for that reason, really, you need to check them ideally in the morning or later at lunchtime in
case they do sell out. So the really good ones are going to sell out obviously, more quickly so
those with the best returns are going to go quickly. So ideally check them first thing in the
morning, maybe before you go to work or when you first get up - check them out as early as you
can.
But always do comparisons with completed listings; check what the current eBay price is, like
I’ve done here throughout this report, so you can see for yourself what money you’re going to
make and obviously you want to go with the highest returns.
All in all, this is a great technique to use and it’s very low risk as well. It’s one of the lowest-risk,
highest-return, easiest-to-implement eBay opportunites I’ve seen since we’ve started publishing
the Kommando Klub. And that’s why I’d really urge you to check it out for yourself.
I wish you the best of luck with all these sources and email us if you do get good results with
this. Let us know how you’ve got on.
This is just ONE of the many opportunities I’ve featured in my ‘Kommando’s Klub’ – and I’m
going to be bringing you plenty more in the coming months.
Whether it’s profiting from China import, UK Wholesalers, or ‘unique’ items, I cover
everything, leaving NO STONE UNTURNED when ‘transforming’ YOU into a fellow
Kommando!
Stay Tuned…

What My Fellow ‘Kommandos’
(Customers!) Say...
Oliver,
As you know, my husband was the one who thought we should get involved in eBay to change
our lives. Somehow (I can’t remember exactly how) I found you and your information and I
bought some materials off you last year. At the time I was working in a 9-5 which I HATED, and
my husband said that he thought eBay was something I could do to break out of this and he was
right.
I implemented your advice and started my eBay business with your information. Well, I quit my
job after three months and best of all I now have an eBay business with sales of some £7,000 per
month with several products on the go. My goal is now to have several more products in my
category of Health And Beauty which will produce profits of £1,000 per day. I don’t think I have
to say that I would HIGHLY recommend your materials to anyone!
Yours Sincerely,
Amanda O’Brien, Worcester, WR12 ***

Dear Oliver,
I used to buy bits and pieces of this and that, DVDs etc. I knew there was money to
made but unsure how to do it. I tried buying and selling books and star wars toys with
misspelled listings and made a few quid, nothing to write home about. Discovered the
system from yourself - now i have 3 products i sell regularly and my turnover is still
steadily rising, am on target to hit £4000 sales in March 07 and sell about 100 units of
the original product each month. I still work full time and only put in a couple of
hours a day on the PC so there's huge room for growth. Now i'm looking to go beyond
Ebay as advised by yourself into Adwords and affiliate schemes to really get my sales
to a level where i can quit my job, pay off all my debts, clear the mortgage and do
anything else i want!
I was even talking to my mum the other day (who's coming up to retirement) about
me setting her up with a little ebay/internet business of her own to run with my day crazy!
Thanks,
Mark Bolland
