We have three opportunities available to join our team in the new season (1 June 2016) to
drive & support the management of our farming operations.
Farm Manager (WMFM3)
We are seeking an experienced and progressive Farm Manager to join our team to manage a
farm that has 300 effective hectares with 180 hectares of Centre Pivot irrigation, farming 950
cows (approx. 402,000kgMS). This property offers a 54-bale rotary (in its second season), with
in-shed feeding, ACR’s and integrated drafting system.

We are seeking an experienced and progressive Farm Manager & 2IC to join our team to
manage a farm that has 407 effective hectares, farming 950 cows (approx. 402,000kgMS). This
property offers a 54-bale rotary with in-shed feeding, ACR’s and integrated drafting system.
To be successful in these roles you will enjoy leading and developing your team and are
prepared to foster a culture consistent with our values. Your outstanding animal husbandry and

While we were in
Tāneatua we met up with
the Youth Co-ordinator

Tāneatua Mr Mike Te
Wahangu Mika.
We
discussed what we could
do as a collaborative rōpu
in Ruatoki during our
Holiday/Breakaway
Programme. He spoke to
us about what their
programmes entail learning about the Atua and
tikanga. We were excited with the prospects of
learning more from Te Wahangu. Due to
restrictions from his organisation this didn’t
come to fruition however he came and spent time
with us after hours and the Rangatahi have a

We met a lot of whānau from Ruatoki especially Matua Maui Kahukuranui who
was our kaitiaki for the duration of our stay, we shared stories, laughs and kai. We are
so grateful to him for his manaaki that he showed us made us feel at home. Matua Te
Weeti—what can we say, an inspiration and a wealth of knowledge the kōrero shared
with us about the rohe, he tino taonga. Matua Tame Iti—gave us a guided tour around
Te Uru Taumatua the whare hou of Ngai Tuhoe.
