Day 3: Saturday, April 22, 2017
Dublin Today opens with a choice of
two cultural experiences. You may opt
to set out with a local guide on a drive
to see St. Patrick’s Cathedral, St
Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, and
the historic Phoenix Park – originally
established as a royal deer park in the
17th century. Or, you may select a
walking tour of the city’s historic
center, exploring O’Connell Street,
the General Post Office and the River
Liffey. With the remainder of your
day at leisure, unwind near your hotel
or continue to discover Dublin’s
countless cultural offerings on your
own. As always, your Tour Manager
is on hand to make suggestions so that
you can make the most of your time.

Day 4: Sunday, April 23, 2017 Dublin
- Kilkenny - Farmhouse Lunch Castlemartyr Leave Ireland’s
gorgeous capital behind to visit the
country’s medieval capital –
Kilkenny. Meander its historic streets
and soak up the unique sights of the
city built on both banks of the River
Nore. Later, visit a family-run farm
and enjoy lunch while hearing about
the traditions of Irish farming.
Continue on to Waterford, “Ireland’s
oldest city,” and visit the House of
Waterford Crystal. Later, rejuvenate
with a relaxing evening in the
country at the Castlemartyr Resort.
This grand manor house, which once
belonged to Sir Walter Raleigh, is like
something out of an ancient tale. You
will even find dramatic 800-year-old

Day 5: Monday, April 24, 2017
Castlemartyr - Blarney - Killarney
With a leisurely morning at
Castlemartyr, there are endless
possibilities. Indulge in a spa
treatment; cycle or walk a little of the
estate’s 220 stunning acres. Later, a
short drive brings you to the Old
Midleton Distillery where an expert
will lead you through while regaling
you with the extraordinary story of
Jameson Irish Whiskey. Stop at
historic Blarney Castle and
embrace the opportunity to kiss the
Blarney Stone. Legend has it that
those who kiss the stone are bestowed
with the gift of eloquence. Arrive in
Killarney, your home for the next two

Today, travel along one of the most
beautiful coastal routes in the world
– the Ring of Kerry. This worldfamous trail is part of an unspoiled

brilliant greenery for which the
Emerald Isle is known. At the Gap of
Dunloe, shop for traditional Irish
goods handcrafted by local artisans.

scenery. Visit a Gaeltacht (an Irish
speaking region) and immerse
yourself in the lore and legend of
Connemara. Learn about the history of
the Irish language and music, and
explore the country’s famous peat
bogs. Afterwards, visit Galway – the
ancient ‘City of Tribes’ – and enjoy
some free time to explore. This day is

Experience It! Dromoland Castle
Dating back to the 16th century, Dromoland Castle is perhaps the most famous
baronial castle in Ireland. It is the ancestral home of the Barons of Inchiquin, a
Gaelic family that are direct descendants of the High King of Ireland. Built of
dark blue limestone, this regal setting will take you back in time. Today, as a
luxury hotel, Dromoland offers exceptional amenities. From the moment you
catch your first glimpse of the castle on the curved drive, you will enter into
another realm. The classic interiors appear much like they did when lords called
