Youth Programs:
KARATE KIDS/KARATE
Tuesday, March 5 – April 16 (No Class April 2) individuals
and families learn and develop basic karate skills,
techniques and principles from Master Chad Smith, 6th
degree Black Belt and Master David Smith, 3rd Degree
Black Belt. Through a variety of fun activities, children
and adults will improve motor skills, physical fitness, and
gain confidence.

LUCKY LEPRECHAUN
Everybody can be Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Just put
on your green and come celebrate St Patty’s Day at the
park district! Look for shamrocks and search for a lucky
leprechaun and his pot of gold. A yummy holiday treat
with a peppermint drink will be served.

HIPPITY HOPPITY
Hop on down to the Frankfort Park District for a hoppin
good time! The children will make an Easter craft,
decorate eggs, and then OF COURSE go on an egg hunt.

Spanish in a relaxed, small-class environment! We are
offering Spanish classes for toddlers through adults. Classes
are taught on Wednesday by Language in Action, Inc.

INTRO TO FASHION DESIGN
Have fun sketching your own original outfits during this
fashion design class. Stylized basic fashion sketching skills,

Lincoln-Way East High School
Join us for an Asset Building Celebration! Bring your children
ages 12 and under, for a day filled with hands on activities, music,

This is part of an Asset Building weekend sponsored by LincolnWay Connections, area park districts, youth commissions, schools,

Clover Hunt

West side of Founders Community Center (outside)
Join the Frankfort Park District in our 1st Clover Hunt to celebrate
St. Patrick’s Day!!! Special prizes will be given to those children
who find the special cloves. Registration is not required, just show
up for the hunt. Free. Ages: 1 – 8 yrs

Super Dog Egg Hunt:
2:30 pm at the Bark Park at Commissioners Park
Free on-leash event.

Athletic Programs:
Chicago Bulls Skills Camp
A fundamental basketball camp for Boys and Girls aged 5-14
years old, teaching the latest techniques in ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding and offensive and defensive team play.
All instructors have learned directly from Chicago Bulls Coaches.
From terminology to drills, your child will get an NBA workout and
experience. This is the camp every young player should start and
expand his or her basketball skills. Our player to coach ratio is 10 to
1. Each student will receive: an autographed Bulls Player photo, a
Skills Camp T-shirt, and an evaluation form.

CHALLENGER SPORTS SPRING BREAK SOCCER CAMP
After the success of the summer camps and skill development programs, the Frankfort Park District is pleased to offer a Spring Break
Soccer Camp in association with Challenger Sports. Sign your child
up for an action packed, fun filled week of Soccer! Participants
will learn all the skills, flicks and tricks and of course as with any
Challenger Camp, your favorite games and daily World Cup Tournament. What are you waiting for, sign up today!

Indoor Instructional Soccer League
Come out and enjoy the fast paced action of the indoor instructional soccer league. The experienced staff at No Limits Soccer
are back to direct this popular program. This recreational soccer
league is open to boys and girls age 4
through the 4th grade. Each class will
feature one half hour of instruction,
which will focus on the fundamental
skills of soccer, followed by one half
hour of game play used to work on
the fundamental skills in game situations. A blue and white Frankfort Park
District reversible jersey is needed
and can be purchased at the time of
registration for $18. Shin guards are
also required.
