Atlanta, GA – “Despite all of our educational advances, women are still
behind when it comes to accumulating wealth,” says Terrell Dinkins,
financial advisor and author of the new self-help book for women, One Bucket
at a Time.
Having learned the value of saving and money management at a young age,
Terrell, who is personally endorsed by the president and CEO Of the DeKalb
Chamber of Commerce, hopes to share this wisdom with other women who
are hoping to build their wealth but aren’t sure just where to begin.

conducted in early 2015, women at retirement age have acquired less than
50% of the wealth that men have acquired at the same age—an issue even

AT A TIME
What inspired you to write One Bucket at a Time?
I was inspired by a business associate who came to see me and learn more about my financial advisory practice.
When she heard my bucket message, she said, “You need to write a book and get your message out to everyone,
and not reserve it for your clients.” Writing a book was on my bucket list (no pun intended), but I had no previous
intentions of writing it this soon. I am very happy my associate gave me the little extra nudge I needed to write it
now rather than later!
How is One Bucket at a Time different from other financial self-help books?
I am personally transparent in the book—about my own finances, as well as my journey to financial freedom. Most
finance books only provide steps and guidelines on wealth building, but you don’t always know the writer who is
recommending the steps. In addition to my own personal story, I provide steps and share examples of financial
struggles others have in dealing with money. The reader will be able to identify with many of the examples from the
book. The book will definitely leave readers inspired to change their behaviors with money!
Why should women buy this book?
Women have the most to lose if they don’t read this book and get their financial houses in order. Despite all of our
educational advances, women are still behind when it comes to accumulating wealth. The wealth gap between men
and women in this country and around the world is heavily debated and rightfully so. Because of divorce,
widowhood, or remaining single, many of us will have to carry the financial load alone. We need to be prepared for
