International Credit Union Day
Credit union members around the world will celebrate International Credit Union Day
on October 15th. This annual event commemorates the credit union movement and its
impact and achievements. In honor of this special day, we invite you to visit any Shell
FCU branch to receive a free gift. Bring your family and friends interested in the benefits
of a credit union too. We would be happy to speak with them about all the ways Shell
FCU can change their life!
December Skip-A-Pay
If you currently have a loan with Shell FCU and meet the Credit Union’s qualifying
criteria* your loan payments will automatically be skipped for the month of December!
If you wish to opt out now or for future skip-a-pay programs please visit
www.ShellFCU.org, Complete the “opt out” form electronically or visit any Shell FCU
branch.

*We offer a “Skip Your (month) Payment” program. If you qualify, you may be able to skip your (month) payment and use those funds as you wish. By participating
in the Skip a Payment program, you request that your loan payment be deferred. You agree and understand that: 1) the payment deferral will extend the term(s) of
your loan(s), and you will have to make the skipped payment(s) through the end of the extended term; 2) interest will continue to accrue on your principal balance at
the interest rate provided in your original loan agreement; 3) deferring your payment will result in your having to pay more interest than if you made your payment
as originally scheduled. Please refer to your GAP (Guaranteed Auto Protection) policy (if applicable) for further restrictions. Shell FCU reserves the right to cancel this
program at any time without notice. Ask a credit union representative if your loan(s) qualify. All Skip-A-Payment requests must be received by December 31, 2015.

EMV “Chip Card” Update

Shell FCU will be making the transformation to EMV “Chip Cards” in 2016. Until then
your current Shell FCU cards will continue to function just as they have in the past. As
a consumer, the important thing to remember is that with your current card or an EMV
“Chip Card” your liability won’t be changing at all. As a cardholder, you will still have
zero fraud liability on your Shell FCU credit and debit cards. Your funds and accounts
at Shell FCU are safe and secure. If you have questions please speak with a Shell FCU
