They do not absorb water like wood, brick and cultured stone. Unlike wood they are not susceptible to deterioration due to rot or insect damage. Synthetics have evolved into a long term construction material. The URESTONE product line represents the latest advancements and technology in the synthetic faux stone industry. Key advancements include a proprietary dual density composite system, deeper stone textures, a 5 step extremely realistic coloring system and the largest panels in the industry. Other driving forces for using the URESTONE system is its insulation value and fast and low cost installation. Replications Unlimited is innovating the industry in many other ways including the development of pre-engineered panels, accessories, trim packages and accents that duplicate complicated brick and stone architectural designs. The URESTONE Panels can be used for any interior or exterior application ranging from multi story hotel / apartment complexes, metal and modular buildings, restaurants, retail stores, gas stations, residential homes and the system is expanding rapidly into many other applications. DUAL DENSITY TECHNOLOGY C A B Our URESTONE Profesional Series Panels are produced with a unique composite that starts with a solid structural urethane layer (A), which adds toughness and durability, followed with a closed molded layer of medium density polyurethane foam (B). Our deep textures are finished with a multi-step coloring process (C) ADVANTAGES Stone Realism The realism in our panels is achieved by casting our molds from natural quarried stones. What separates Urestone from competitive synthetic panels are the quality of the detail from our molds, more dramatic depth of the stone pattern. and propertary coloring process. We begin with a true craftsman’s approach to design! Insulation Value The URESTONE panels have an 6 insulation “R value” between 5-6. 5 Insulation value saves energy and 4 meets meets ENERGY STAR’s 3 recommended added insulation 2 R-Value for Retrofitting existing 1 outside width: 97” inside width: 84 1/2” h:wood 48 1/2”2 weight:buildings. 32 lbs thickness: 1 1/2”” framed cultured/real stone Light Weight urestone The weight of a URESTONE 4 ft x 8 ft panels is between 32-38 lbs. (less than a sheet of plywood). This light weight panel allows for easy handling and installation. Unlike cultured or real stone, no extra foundations footing or support is needed. What more can you ask for in a light-weight building product? Large panel size Size does matter— the URESTONE panels are available in Professional Series 4ft x 8ft size (32 sq ft. each) which dramatically saves labor and installation time while providing less seams and grout lines. Installing one of our panels is equal to installing over 200 individual real or cast stones. And consider the time to place each stone versus one panel, a few screws, and done! URESTONE professional panels are the largest synthetic panel in the Industry! (Also available in 2’ x 4’ panels) Durability / Strength Don’t let the weight fool you! This lightweight panel (approximately 36 lbs.) is so strong and durable, due to the unique Dual Layer composite, that even a weed trimmer will not damage the surface. The solid tough impact resistant plastic layer resistant to damage unlike competitive synthetic faux stone systems that are more easily dented and scratched. URESTONE can also be installed below grade! With the moisture resistance, even backfilling is ok. Our panels are the toughest surface in the industry! LEED Certified URESTONE is a greener product certified by the United States Green Building Counsel and LEED Compliant PRODUCT SERIES STANDARD SERIES The URESTONE Professional 4ft x 8ft series is the largest textured panel on the market. Competitive faux stone panels typically range between 12” x 48” to 24” x 48”. This large URESTONE panel series provides designers, contractors and home owners the tools necessary to accomplish their projects with less seams, less time and with a more continuous appearance. CORNER & COLUMNS Another unique and innovative aspect of the URESTONE product line is the broad spectrum of both interlocking and non interlocking corners that are available for each of the panel systems. They provide seamless transitions at the corners. In addition to the corners series, there are coordinating columns, surrounds, and pilasters for the key stone and brick patterns. WAINSCOT SERIES The URESTONE Wainscot product line is an innovative series of pre-engineered panels that are designed with a built-in top ledge. They are available in a length of 96” and height of 36-42”, depending on the pattern. So these one piece ready to install wainscot panels interlock to form a seamless and natural look that provide an extremely simple and fast installation. TRIM & ACCESSORIES Our Trim and Accessories series completes the URESTONE product line. These items are available in a wide variety of styles, textures and colors that coordinate with the various panels. Keyed corners are designed to interlock into our standard panels to create a seamless transition. The keyless corners were designed for projects where the length of our panels combined with a keyed corner didn’t work. They measure slightly thicker than our panels so that they cover the exposed product when the keys are cut off. Finally, our accent corners were designed as a larger product that can be used as a standalone product or add accent to an existing one. To begin proper installation, use a chalk line/ level to start your first row of panels. After your chalk line has been established, begin at the corner of your structure (photo #1). Mount the first panel, in this instance a corner panel, and secure it with 2” - 3” exterior deck screws. Deck screws are available in a variety of colors. We reccomend that you select a color that will most closely match the mortar color of the panels. See screw our screw and caulking in our comprehensive installation manual. 1 STEP 2 Apply a panel by connecting the inter-locking keys (or finger joint) to the corner (photo#2). Occasionally the keys may require filing or sanding to optimize the fit. Tap into place tightly using a small rubber mallet. Once the panel is positioned, make sure that it is level (photo #3) and then, using deck screws, secure the panel tightly to the substrate using the formula of one screw per two square foot (see photo #4). Continue in this fashion until you approach the end of the wall or the next corner. It may be easier and more effective to caulk each joint/key as the panels are being installed instead of after the panels are fully installed. 2 3 4 STEP 3 - Terminating a wall Adding the last panel- Once a point is reached where a full panel is too large to place between the panel and the corner /end of the wall, you will need to measure the distance from the inside of the deepest key to the wall (photo #5). Mark this distance on the back of the next panel and cut accordingly, preferably using a circular saw (photo #6). If corner pieces are not used- the panels may be mitered for an easy corner wrap. See separate instructions on mitering corners. Beginning with the next row of panels, stagger the seams to form a more natural appearance. Continue this process to the succeeding vertical rows, until the desired height is reached. 5 5 6 STEP 4 If installing a wainscot wall, after the first row is applied, install a ledger trim onto the top of the panels. outside 97”is inside width:and 84 1/2” h: 48(if 1/2”2 weight: (photo 32 lbs thickness: 1 1/2”” Thewidth: ledger screwed glued possible) #7) above the top of the panel. Fasten the ledger by placing screws from underneath, then use caulking to cover all screw heads. 7 STEP 5 After the panels and ledger have been installed, using our special colored/textured caulk and a caulk gun, apply caulk to the seams (photo #8). You can create a natural looking mortar line by and using a small damp bristled paint brush and simply sweeping over the caulk to smooth out the appearance. After cutting (when trimmed for proper fit), use the touch up paint kit and the caulking to cover any exposed polyurethane. Following this process will create a natural appearance. (NOTE: any exposed polyurethane (foam) to UV sunlight rays may cause discoloration, therefore, simply use the caulk and a touch up paint kit to completely cover any exposed polyurethane). 8 7 2’x4’ Series DP2615 STACKEDSTONE DP2610 LEDGESTONE outside width: 96” inside width: 88” h: 42” weight: 32 lbs thickness: 1 1/2” See website for complete 2’ x 4’ series and accessories PHOTO GALLERY outside width: 97” inside width: 84 1/2” h: 48 1/2”2 weight: 32 lbs thickness: 1 1/2”” 9200 Latty Avenue • Hazelwood (STL), MO 63042 • p: 314-524-2040 • f: 314-524-4040 WWW.URESTONEPANELS.COM • WWW.REPLICATIONSUNLIMITED.COM
