UCIA DAY CELEBRATION
The Lucia Day Celebration takes part
on the 13th of December every year.
Known also as the “Saint Lucy’s Day” it is
celebrated in most parts of Scandinavia.
The long-standing traditions of Swedish
historical songs sung by a Lucia Day
choir plays a central role in the program.
Traditional Swedish dishes and drinks are
presented slightly differently, in the style
of modern Swedish cuisine appreciated
all around the world, and with the
valuable assistance of the chef of the
Swedish Ambassador.
Our cultural program is both entertaining
and filled with the principal message of
Lucia and Light.
Our Chamber is proud of this Gala and
aims to enhance the spiritual message of
the Celebration.
