Greetings fellow cattleman,
Here we are again entering our 9th year hosting the Kastel Show Cattle & Friends Sale. We
have grown over the last few years, with past consignors now entering the sale with prodigy of
past purchases. We are excited for you to view all the cattle this year. This years set is
deeper than sale to date.
The past year, we gained some wonderful new friends, viewed beautiful cattle, and even
grabbed some purple along the way. We have also had some life changing events that remind us of the true meaning of family and real friendship. Josh’s Great Uncle John was the
beginning force behind his love of cattle. Buying him his first calf and teaching him how to
feed. His passing will leave a hole in all of our hearts.
Once again, words go without saying our heartfelt thank you to all of our family and friends for
their help and support. It takes a lot time and teamwork to put this together and we could not
do it without all of you.
Please join Saturday evening for Cattle Fest 2013 for cattle viewing, BBQ, refreshments and
socializing. Special performance by KayLyn Pace a young and upcoming artist.
Cattle can be viewed anytime prior to the sale, visitors are always welcome.

THE TRADITION
Some Folks just don’t get it.
They think owning cattle makes no sense.
It takes too much time, too much equipment
not to mention the expense.
But the fondest memories of my life,
they may think might sound funny,
Were made possible by my mom and dad
because they spent the time and they spent the money!!
You see, the most important lessons helping values grow strong, came
from loving cattle and passing that tradition on.
