Four Easy Ways To Register
1. PREREGISTER BY MAIL
Mail check and completed registration form to United
6:30 a.m. Registration begins
Run for the Zoo c/o Chicago Special Events Management,
8:00 a.m. 5K Run

Online registration ends at noon, May 31, 2008 (a $2.65 service
fee per participant will be added for credit card usage). Register
at www.lpzoo.org by April 30, 2008 for special discounted rates.

2. PREREGISTER ONLINE
NIKETOWN Chicago: You can register and pick up your
STARTING LINE on Stockton Drive between Webster
and Dickens for runs and walk. The USATF-certified 5K
and 10K Run courses will access residential streets, travel through the zoo, and out and back along Lincoln
Park paths finishing on the east side of the zoo. The 5K
Fun Walk will also travel through the zoo and remain on
Lincoln Park paths to the finish, also on the east side of
the zoo. No dogs allowed on course inside the zoo.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A SIGNED ENTRY FORM. One form per participant (photocopies accepted). Please print clearly and fill out the form below
to guarantee proper input of information. Unsigned entries will not be accepted. Preregistration applications must be postmarked by May 23, 2008.
TEAM CHALLENGE
Male, female and co-ed team challenges are available. All teams must
consist of at least three persons and co-ed teams must include at least
one female. Please make sure to submit all team applications together
with the same team name.

Paid parking is available in the zoo’s parking lot on Cannon Drive for
a special rate of $10. Parking is limited. Arrive early.

SPECIAL NOTE: Athletes who do not return their assigned chip will be charged a $100.00 replacement fee. WAIVER: I know that running and/or walking a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I
should not enter and run or walk unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the course. I assume all risks associated with running and walking in this event, including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including low/high temperatures and/or wind chill/humidity,
traffic and conditions of the road. All such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of this entry, I hereby for myself, heirs, executors
and administrators waive any and all claims I may have for damages against Lincoln Park Zoo, The Lincoln Park Zoological Society, Chicago Public Building Commission, Chicago Running and Special Events
Management, Inc., the City of Chicago, Chicago Park District and all sponsors and individuals associated with the event, their representative and successors, and assignees for any and all injuries suffered by
me in connection with this event, including pre- and post- race activities. I hereby grant permission to CSEM and Lincoln Park Zoo their authorized agents to use my name and photographs, videotapes,
motion pictures, recording or any other record of my participation in this event for any purpose. If I have participated in chip timing and did not return my chip on the day of the event or within 14 days
of the event to SEM, 2221 W. 43rd St., Chicago, IL 60609, I will be required to pay the $100.00 chip replacement fee. There will be a $30 fee for all returned checks. Cardholder acknowledges receipt of
goods and/or services in the amount of the total enclosed shown here on and agrees to perform the obligation set forth in the cardholder’s agreement with the issuer. Sorry no refunds.
AWARDS
The overall male and female winners of the 10K Run and 5K Run will each
receive one domestic United Economy® travel certificate. Some restrictions
apply. Overall winners will not repeat in age groups. NIKETOWN prizes will
be presented to the top three men and women runners in the following
age groups; 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 4549, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. Prizes for “fastest” (corporate and “open”), “largest” and “most spirited” team will be awarded.

Chips are available for pick-up on race day only.
The chip must be attached to your shoe for the
duration of the race in order to have your time
