COMPANY DESCRIPTION
AIMS International is a manufacturer of VIV Suppression Systems such as Vortex
Strakes and Fairings. AIMS, Patented, Dual Fin Flow Splitter (ADFS) or fairing
displays a very low Cd, with an efficiency over 98% and is used for drilling and
production risers, flowlines and umbilicals in the deep water. AIMS offers both topside
installed and ROV installed Vortex Strakes and Fairings. AIMS ROV installed Vortex
Strakes have been installed on over 20 miles of pipeline free spans and vertical risers
and flow lines. AIMS has provided both Vortex Strakes and ADFS to Petrobras-USA
and Brazil projects.
