Silicone Tubing
Samco high tear strength laboratory tubing has been developed to meet the quality
requirements and exacting standards of today’s pharmaceutical and biotechnical industries. In
particular to resist extremes of temperature and the high wear rate of the peristaltic pump.
Extremely resistant to ozone, UV concentrations and a wide range of chemicals, this tubing
contains no sulphur or acid producing extracts to leach into your product.
Special bore and wall thicknesses, degrees of hardness, colour and cross sections are available
to minimum order. Repetitive cutting and fabrication to tolerance is available to suit
your manufacturing needs. Stock range dimensional tolerance to BS3734.
Manufactured using FDA 177.2600, EP VI.1.3.2 and WRC approved elastomer Non toxic food
and laboratory quality

SAMCO® Sport Vacuum Tube
For years we have been manufacturing vacuum tube for our sister
company, SAMCO® Sport, which has been, and is, distributed all
around the world as part of their hose kits. Extruded in a 70’
shore hardness silicone rubber and available in many colours.
Please see chart below for standard colours which are readily
available from stock.
Common sizes range from 3mm to 9mm internal diameter, and
available as coils or in packs. We can also supply tube in luminous,
tinted or metallic colours, please ask for prices and lead times.

Translucent Extruded Reinforced Tubing
A 200% factor of safety is applied to recommended reinforced tubing working pressures. Higher working pressure and variation in
specification to minimum order. Pressure rating diminishes with increasing temperature, consult SAMCO® for your specific application.

Continuous calendered smooth surface solid silicone rubber sheet, 1200mm wide, 60o shore hard (± 5o). Temperature range -60oC to 250oC
continuous use. Standard colours, white, red and translucent. To FDA approved elastomers.
Smaller quantities than 1 roll (state size) can be supplied

Gaskets
SAMCO® offer an in-house punched gasket service. Material is typically solid or sponge silicone sheet that may be adhesive backed, on one
or both sides. Small-to-medium production volumes and area sizes from a few mm to approximately 1metre square are accommodated.
Forme tools, either single or multiple impression, can be made to your specification or drawing, at low cost and with short lead times.

Expanded Silicone Sponge
SAMCO® expanded silicone offers designers a versatile sponge
rubber product capable of withstanding temperatures from -60oC
to 200oC continuous. SAMCO® silicone sponge is also suited to fire
sensitive applications, offering low levels of smoke and toxic gas
during a fire situation. Approved to AFNOR and London
Underground specifications, can be used for IP rated seals.
The general appearance of expanded silicone is of a fine closed
cell structure with a low degree of moisture absorption
encapsulated by a soft, smooth outer skin.
Colour variations are available to choice at additional cost,
standard manufacture and stock material in off-white.
Silicone sponge sheet available as ex-stock 1.6mm to 25mm thick.
Sponge cord and sponge sections available ex-stock and made
to order.
Adhesive backing:
Sheeting, cut sheet and cut gaskets / pads can be supplied with a
pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing. To minimum order.

Silwrap Triangular Guide Line Silicone Rubber Tape
Clean non-toxic and autoclavable stretch silicone tape that forms
to irregular component shapes.
Extremely versatile with excellent electrical insulating properties
and offering high protection against severe environmental
conditions, an almost unlimited number of applications in the
laboratory, maintenance shop, service bay and home.
Silwrap is manufactured from a specially formulated silicone
elastomer to provide a self-bonding, self-curing insulation.
Bonding does not depend on a surface coating of adhesive which
can collect dust, dirt and other contaminants as with traditional
tapes, it is not tacky to the touch and will not bond to
other surfaces, cures to a permanent inseparable insulator at
room temperature.
