Taste Tamworth is a 10-day celebration of regional food, wine and produce.
The 2015 program offers some new and exciting events for you to Taste your way
around Tamworth and the region. Take a self drive tour of farms in the region to
meet the farmers and try some of their produce, on our Farm Gate Trail.
Taste in the Park is a day of activities and stallholders featuring delicious wine
and food from around the region. Sample regional food, meet the producers,
watch celebrity chefs, Cathy and Anna Lisle in action, relax in our Garden Bar and
stock up on your favourite supplies. Join us for a seat at our very long table under
the trees in Bicentennial Park for a divine five course Long Lunch cooked by the
region’s top chefs. Visit our fabulous Telstra Laneway Bar for two unforgettable
nights of canapés, regional beer and wine, and cool tunes.
The Taste Tamworth Festival is proudly coordinated by Tamworth Regional
Council and sponsored by The Northern Daily Leader.

For two big nights, a unique laneway in Tamworth will be transformed
into a pop up bar. The laneway will be decorated in vintage furniture
and decor especially curated in collaboration with One of a Kind.
Tickets are strictly limited and price includes first drink on arrival plus delicious
canapés from local businesses. Lebanese cuisine from Pat’s Lebanese Catering
will tempt your taste buds on Friday evening and Italian cuisine from Bella Cucina
Catering on Saturday evening. Local beers from New England Brewery and wine
from Merilba Estate will feature both nights.
The Telstra Tamworth team will be present each night taking photos to capture all
the fun. The images will be available to take home with you! Make sure you keep
an eye out for the Telstra Tamworth team as they will also be running a competition
each evening offering great prizes.

Taste in the Park is a day of activities and stallholders featuring delicious wine and
food from around the region. Sample regional food, meet the producers, enjoy a
cooking demonstration and relax in our garden bar.
Join our special guest celebrity chefs, Cathy and Anna Lisle (contestants on
My Kitchen Rules 2014) to cook up tasty recipes from their kitchen.
A special area for kids will include herb gardening, sporting activities and craft.
Relax with a selection of wine, beers and ciders under the trees in our Garden Bar.
Enter your cake in our ‘Great Bake-Off’ Competition, hosted by the Country Women’s
Association (CWA) and judged by Cathy and Anna.

The Walcha Kitchen
Located on their quaint property just an hour’s drive from Tamworth, The Walcha
Kitchen cooking school is run by mother and daughter duo, Cathy and Anna Lisle
who were contestants on My Kitchen Rules in 2014.
Using fresh and local produce from around the area, their hands-on classes are
small and intimate, catering for groups of six to nine people, with a sit-down meal
