DES MOINES AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE Student Housing with Affordable Leases GUIDE TO HOUSING ANKENY CAMPUS www.dmacc.edu/housing Welcome! Thank you for your interest in DMACC! We have developed this brochure to provide you with some privately owned and operated housing options conveniently located adjacent to the Ankeny Campus. www.dmacc.edu/housing. With more than 15,000 students, DMACC’s Ankeny Campus offers a vibrant and collegial environment. The academic experience is superior, and there are many social clubs and activities where you can meet new friends. It’s also a time of change as new programs and building remodeling are transforming the DMACC Ankeny Campus. Exciting changes continue. Construction is underway on a new recreation and student activities complex on the Ankeny Campus. The nearby Prairie Trail development next door to our campus is incorporating a new Town Center and residential neighborhoods, and offers outdoor cafes, retail and open space around an old-fashioned town square. DMACC’s Ankeny Campus will be woven into the new Prairie Trail development to create a bigger sense of community. While Ankeny is one of Iowa’s fastest growing communities, it’s one of the safest as well. Ankeny is also near many of Central Iowa’s entertainment, shopping and recreational hot spots. Thank you for your interest in the DMACC Ankeny Campus. We hope you will soon become part of our community. If you have any specific questions, please call 515-964-6200 or plan a campus tour.
