Mit dem vorliegenden Referenzkatalog 2016 bieten wir
Ihnen anhand von 199 erfolgreich realisierten Projekten einen
Überblick über den vielfältigen Einsatz von BACnet in der
Gebäudeautomation unserer Dienstleistungswirtschaft und
Industrie, in Europa und weltweit.
With the 2016 edition of the Reference Catalog, and
the presentation of 199 successfully completed projects,
we provide an overview of the diverse uses of BACnet
in building automation for our service economy and
industry in Europe and worldwide.
Die BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) wächst mit
dem Standard. 1998 von 18 Unternehmen gegründet, hat
sie sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Verbreitung in Europa
zu fördern, die europäischen BACnet-Aktivitäten zu
koordinieren und die Anwender mit Informationen über
die Einsatzmöglichkeiten und den Nutzen des BACnet
Protokolls zu versorgen. Diese Vorteile nutzen inzwischen
125 BIG-EU Mitglieder.
The BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) is growing
with the standard. Founded in 1998 by 18 companies,
the BIG-EU encourages expansion of the standard in
Europe, to coordinate European BACnet activities, and
to provide users with information about the various
ways to apply BACnet, and to benefit from the protocol.
Currently 125 BIG-EU members take advantage of these
benefits.

ard for building automation for over 20 years, and it is
continually being developed cooperatively by its users.

ASHRAE SSPC-135, erarbeitet in zahlreichen Arbeits
gruppen Erweiterungen, die den Standard zukunftsfähig
machen. Diese laufende Anpassung des Standards an die

The internationally composed Standardization Commit
tee, the ASHRAE SSPC-135, is developing in numerous

Mit dem Bau des Hauptverwaltungsge
bäudes der Rabobank Niederlande erhält
die Skyline von Utrecht eine neue Dimen
sion. Das Design des Hochhauses umfasst
zwei 105 Meter hohe, leicht gedrehte
Türme, die durch eine doppelte, voll
ständig verglaste Umhüllung miteinander
verbunden sind. „Transparenz“ ist der
Begriff, der Gebäude und Gebäudetech
nik treffend charakterisiert. Für das ener
gieeffiziente Gebäudemanagementsystem
ist SAUTER verantwortlich.
Utrecht’s skyline will be enhanced by
the construction of a new administration
centre for Rabobank Netherlands. The
high-rise building comprises two 105
meters tall towers that stand at a slight
angle to each other being connected by
a double-skin facade made entirely of
glass. “Transparency” is the word that
correctly typifies both the building and
the technology within. SAUTER is the
supplier of this energy-efficient building
management system.

SAUTER hatte das Privileg, am Vorzei
geprojekt Spaniens für den neuen Kon
zernsitz der IDOM-Gruppe in Madrid
mitzuwirken. Mit dem Konzept für die
Konzernzentrale wollten sich die Planer
vom Herkömmlichen verabschieden.
Der Neubau sollte eher die Atmosphä
re eines Eigenheims denn eines Indus
triebaus widerspiegeln.
SAUTER had the privilege of being involved
in just such a showcase project for the new
company headquarters of the IDOM group
in Madrid, Spain. The planners wanted to
break away from the conventional concept
of an office building when designing the
company’s new headquarters. The new
building emulates the feel of a private home
rather than an industrial building.

In “Siemens City Vienna” an efficient
management system helps to reduce
energy consumption by 25 percent,
compared with similar buildings. Even

versicherung, a German life insurance
company, in Hamburg were modernised
while business operations continued.
Beside other devices, ABB-made frequency
converters of the ACH550 type, providing
power outputs of from 1.5 kW to 75 kW
were installed. Thanks to these BACnetenabled HVAC drives, easy, safe and
trouble-free commissioning was possible.

a clinic for physiotherapy and medical

the builder, Steffen Holzbau. All of the
efficiency systems are monitored from a

trollers and communication.

von Plüth. Über die neutrale BACnet
Schnittstelle kommuniziert sie mit der
Gebäudeleittechnik M-Plus von Johnson
Controls. Schon in der Planungsphase
konnte Plüth alle vom Betreiber gefor
derten Funktionen testen – dank des
Simulationsmodells. Damit war der rei
bungslose Ablauf des Projekts garantiert.
To upgrade its building automation the
University of Bremen used the automa
tion station Cosmos 4000 Open by Plueth,
which communicates with the Johnson
Controls central building control system
via a neutral BACnet interface. As early
as during the planning stages a simula
tion model allowed Plueth to test all the
functions required by the operator, so
smooth processing of the project was
guaranteed.
