SSLD (Shaftless Self Loading Dual Position) Unwinds
The SSLD double position unwind has the ability to run narrow
reels to the left in one position and the right on the other. This
provides greater efficiency when running narrow reels as the full
width of the machine is used and the pallet change frequency
is halved.
Manual low profile reel trolleys requiring only a 50 mm floor
excavation. Powered trolleys are also available
Nested taper cone chucks allowing efficient unwinding of core
diameters from 70-305mm.
A full range of torque activated expanding chucks are also
available. These can be supplied in single diameter or stepped
dual diameter. By using stepped chucks in conjunction
with permanently mounted 300mm tapered chucks, 76, 152 &
305mm cores can be run without any chuck changes.
