Location
The Victorian and New South Wales cross-border
townships of Echuca Moama, with their magnificent
backdrop of the majestic Murray River, have a rich history
which is today shaped with modern event facilities. From

Valley Highway, Echuca Moama is easily accessible from all
directions.
V/Line passenger services (Ph: 1800 800 007) travel
between Melbourne and Echuca numerous times daily.
Aircraft can land at Echuca Aerodrome, Aus Air
(Ph: 03 5480 3100) runs charter services from Moorabbin
and Essendon airports to Echuca and return on request.

Echuca Moama has so much to offer as an event
destination. Located in north central Victoria and easily
accessible from southern New South Wales, the Australian
Capital Territory and South Australia, the region is ideally
situated for state or national events.
The 32 hectare Elmore Events Centre, located
approximately 45km south of Echuca, caters to rallies,
festivals, concerts, field days and any number of other
large-scale events. The Elmore Field Days, held annually in
October, attracts in excess of 45,000 people.
Facilities range from state of the art corporate venues
to nationally accredited sporting grounds and large-scale
outdoor event venues.
Across both Echuca and Moama, numerous parks and
public reserves are also available for a variety of events.
Echuca’s Aquatic Reserve regularly hosts events, including
February’s Riverboats Music Festival attracting 12,000
people annually. Also in February, the mighty Murray River
is the backdrop for the Club Marine Southern 80 WaterSki Race, attracting more than 75,000 spectators.
