This week our classes have had much fun going out on school trips and entering competitions. We did brilliantly at the Quad Athletics and John Larter Football Cup that was actually won by our federated school, Woodberry Down. Big congratulations to them. Year 2 enjoyed a trip to the Rio Cinema to watch ‘Robots’ as part of their IPC Unit, while Year 1 haveLook been out to Allen Gardens as part of their IPC what the Nursery have Exit point as well. Its great toupbeto.able toseeing take this been I loved display this week in the Nursery learning outside of the classroom. that showed their aspirations for Next term is as busy as ever. The children researched Van Gogh’s and Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings of sunflowers and created their own sunflowers in both 2D and 3D using different materials. Here is a great photo of the children with Akram Khan who created the choreography for the event. We are very lucky at Grazebrook to have many great parents and Joe in Year 6's Dad is 'Knife' from the author/illustrator duo 'Knife and Packer'. 83 129 One of their books 'Badly Drawn Beth' is up for a Lollie Award in the 6-8 years category.
