The 2015 SOG Gilding Conference in Chicago
will offer many “firsts”, plus, all of the excellent

Classes: Traditional Water Gilding, Verre Églomisé, Restoration of Gilded Wooden Objects,
Manuscript Illumination, Oil gilding, Toning,
Glass Gilding, Book Edge Gilding, and Leather
Tooling & Gilding, plus special guest lecturers.
Location: The conference will be held at Loyola University
Chicago, aka the “Water Tower” campus. The economical dormitory apartments (all with kitchens) are across the street from
our classrooms. Shopping, restaurants and CTA stations are
adjacent.
Register: Early Bird registration is Feb. 16 – April 16, then
rates increase until the deadline of May 3. Members receive an
additional discount on registration and classes.
