JCT600 Group, one of the UK’s largest
and most highly acclaimed motor
groups has chosen GMI Energy to
deliver a series of three solar PV
installations to existing dealerships.
GMI Energy assessed JCT600 Group’s
property portfolio of nearly fifty
dealerships to produce a shortlist of
the sites which would most benefit
This list was then reduced to five
potential dealerships of which planning
permissions and grid connections were
approved. Out of the five shortlisted
sites, three were fitted with 207 No.
240W. REC Polycrystalline panels in
record time, in anticipation of the feed
in tariff cut off dates.
JCT600 are a forward thinking
company, keen to take advantage
of energy saving and energy
generation oppourtunities.
The site generates around 40,000
hours of clean electricity per year
and is monitored 24 hours a day,
7 days a week to ensure that the

full turnkey approach to the provision
and maintenance of all three solar
PV systems.
Ongoing reports showing the system
performance levels so far are very
promising. All three systems are
generating a higher yield than
expected and therefore generating
a greater revenue and further CO2
savings.
If this level of performance continues
this will bring the system payback
period forward.
