We are proud of the legacy of generations that Girls Inc. continues to serve. We have set our goals sky-high as we launch into this new journey for our girls today and in the future. At four centers in Dallas – in neighborhoods where many girls don’t feel they have much to look forward to – Girls Inc. makes all the difference. From the age of six to 18, girls have a place to spend time after school and in the summer, where they know they are important, and where they can set the course for their journey to be whatever they want to be. We invite you to join Girls Inc. this year to celebrate the milestones of Girls Inc. and the lives of our She Knows Where She’s Going Award Honorees who have all overcome significant barriers to achieve success while making a positive impact in the Dallas community. We will also present The Girls Champion Award to an organization for developing and expanding opportunities for girls and women in our community. Each of our honorees symbolizes something we always say in our centers: It doesn’t matter where a girl comes from as long as She Knows Where She’s Going. 2008 Invitation 1/22/08 10:01 AM Page 5 LUNCHEON CHAIR Barbara Lord Watkins UNDERWRITING CO-CHAIRS Phil Baker Mary E.
