AntiAllergy Fabric
Anti-Microbe Fabric
Nanovia AntiAllergy Fabric kills Bed Bugs without
any irritation to humans, and prevents penetration of
Dust Mites and their produced allergens.
Nanovia AntiMicrobe Fabric prevents penetration of
microorganisms – bacteria and viruses.
The fabric is a three-layered sandwich consisting of a
spunbond fabric, then in the middle a nanofibrous structure that contains the ingredient that kills Bed Bugs (picture No. 1) and finally another layer of spunbond.
Nanovia AntiMicrobe 13795 – stops the penetration
of bacteria and is suitable to make medical clothes including surgical masks, surgical gowns and clothes, according to norm EN 13795.
Pore volume in this structure is significantly smaller
than the size of Mites at approx. 250-300 microns, and
the size of their produced allergens ranges around
(1 to 20 microns), (picture No. 2). Bed Bugs are much
larger at approx 4mm x 2.5mm.
Nanovia AntiMicrobe 14683 – prevents the penetration of bacteria and is suitable for making surgical
masks according to standard pr EN 14683.
Nanovia AntiAllergy Fabric Ready-Made Bedding Covers are available - ask your representative for details.
These covers totally prevent contact between people
and Dust mites, while they Kill Bed Bugs. They fit: pillows, blankets, duvets and mattresses.
With one set of covers, will protect you from allergens
and Bed Bugs for at least 30 months. You can cover
your own bedding, remove it and use it again, without washing, anywhere on your trip, at a Hotel, a Guest
house or your friend’s home. Nanovia recommends
washing the covers twice a year.
Nanovia AntiAllergy material and products can be
washed 5 times at 60 °C and ironed at lower temperatures or dry cleaned.
Nanovia guarantees the material to be 100% effective
for against Dust Mites, allergens produced by Dust
Mites and Bed Bugs for five washing cycles.
Nanovia AntiAllergy Nanotex NW 40 weighs 40 g/m2
and is available in 1,0m and 1,6m width, or 2–2,5m
width in basic color natural (white).

There are three types of Anti-Microbe Fabric:
Nanovia AntiMicrobe – stops the penetration of viruses and is suitable for manufacturing of face masks.
Nanovia AntiMicrobe – resists penetration of bacteria
and viruses up to 99.9%.
Fabric Testing
Nanovia has tested in Europe the ability of their fabrics
to prevent bacteria, viruses micro-organisms and the
allergens they produce from penetrating their fabrics.
All The fabric is a three-layered sandwich consisting of

structure (picture No. 1) and finally another layer of
spunbond.
Nanovia in one study compared their Nanotex NW 40
to the Evolon™ 100 and woven Pristine™ and found the
Nanovia fabrics to offer substantially superior filtration
(air permeability) and water vapour transport, which
translated in plain English means the Nanotex NW40
provides higher protection against all dust mite fecal
pellets, allergens. And on a personal usage level, better
physiological properties - a more comfortable product.
