Most cats eat a lot, (Though some may eat naught),
But my favourite talking cat will. Make them all feel ill!
Sleeping is a hobby, eating is a love, He symbolizes it like peace is a dove.
His diet is mostly Italian, Though he could eat a stallion!
Show him a room full of lasagna, With perhaps a little bologna,
And I shall swear, He will give you a smile rare!
Towers of pizza, Rows of lasagna, Bottles and bottles of tomato sauce
Red and gleaming with gloss. Buildings of chinese food,
Take it away and you’d be screwed! Sarcasm, pride and cruelty aside,
If I told you he didn’t adore food, I’d have lied.
His stomach is a never ending chasm,
If he didn’t eat, he’d have a spasm!
Normal people would like presents on birthdays,
He wants twelve course meals. The craze!
Cat food spewing everywhere, Inhaling his food as if it were air.
Snorting and grunting as he scarfed. Down food so messily it’s like he barfed.
Then the smell of lasagna wafts into the room,
He runs to the kitchen so fast there’s a sonic boom!
He is the world’s favourite fat cat, Though he is quite a brat,
He will lighten up your day! The comics, the shows are always gay.
Here is the name finally revealed,
He is... GARFIELD!

Where’s Are You, Pooky?
It was a quiet day at the Arbuckle house, Odie was running around outside, and
Jon was reading the paper. Garfield, instead of eating lasagna, was searching for
something. Where is he?, Garfield thought. He was looking for Pooky. The last time
he saw him was when he was going to sleep. He rummaged around in the drawers of
Jon’s bedroom dresser. Jon heard the racket Garfield was making upstairs. “Garfield,
keep it down!” Jon yelled not taking his eyes off the paper. Garfield then suddenly
came out of Jon’s room and sprinted toward the front door, slamming it on the
way out, while startling Jon.
Outside
Garfield spotted Odie chasing a butterfly. Of course, Odie did have the size of a
peanut. He than asked Odie if he knew where Pooky was. “Odie, have you seen
Pooky?” Garfield ask with concern in his voice. He was mentally attached to that
teddy bear. Odie simply shook his head.
Inside
After hours and hours of looking for Pooky, Garfield decided to take a break.
“I’m really hungry” Garfield said while his stomach growled. He open the fridge and
what he saw surprised him. He had to rub his eyes and blink. It was Pooky!
He was wearing a birthday hat. A note was attached to Pooky’s paw. It read “Happy
Birthday, Garfield!” He hugged the bear and smiled. “Thank you, Pooky.” Garfield
said.

A TRIP TO VET
It was a fine day in the Arbuckle house. The fattest, laziest cat in the world was
just waking up from his morning nap.
“its Monday.” Garfield said with depression in his voice. “I hate Mondays.”
Garfield walked over to the calendar and pulled off the Sunday sign.
“Monday, 24th?” Garfield said with fear. “todays the day jon takes me to the vet!”
Garfield turned around and looked for jon, but he wasn’t around. Garfield sighed
with relief as he walked into the kitchen to get some breakfast.
“good morning Garfield!” jon exclaimed with joy. “your appointment with the vet
was canceled, but the fair is in town; we could go there.”
Garfield ate all the breakfast on the table and rushed out the door to the car. In
his excited stupor, he accidentially locked jon out. Garfield, being a cat, didn’t know
how to use the car locks.
“Garfield!” jon yelled with anger.
Jon ran out behind the house and grabbed a metal pole. He ran back to the car
and hit the window. You’d expect the window to break, but this is a Garfield story
so I wont. The metal pole hit the metal part of the car right next to the window.
The metal pole came back and hit jon.
“that was effective.” Garfield said with sarcasm.
Jon had gotten another bright idea,smash the back window. He ran out back into
the cellar and grabbed a sledge hammer. He ran back to the car and swung it. The
sledge hammers head flew off of the car window and crashed through the house
window, hitting odie.
Garfield sat down and hit the unlock button. Jon got in the car, but they didn’t go
to the fair, they went to the vet.
“no!” Garfield screamed with fear. “not there, anywhere but there!”

A Looney Poem
With Yo Sam, Daffy, and of course me.
Yosemite Sam with two guns in his hands,
Seems to be the dumbest in all the land,
He rides a mule, which to me is a horse,
He “yells” at me in a voice so coarse.
Then there’s Daffy, who tries to outsmart me,
He only succeeds in really bugging me,
It seems that ACME stuff he must have hired.
But all his plans seem to backfire.
Then there’s a cute little bird by the name of Tweety,
He really is Granny’s sweetie,
Sylvester tries to eat him,
But Tweety always gets ‘em.
Then we have a Porky Pig,
He thinks he’s lean but he’s really big,
He stutters more than a frightened bat,
Now what do you think about that?
Roadrunner goes beep beep beep,
While Wile C. tries to eat eat eat,
He gets his stuff all from ACME,
The things that really amuse me.
Then there’s me I’m not a parrot,
I like to eat a lot of carrots,
Saying stuff, “Eh, what’s up doc,”
My name is Bugs but that’s what I’m not,
With two long ears, I’m rather cunning,
I’m no one else but me...

Through Glass
It was a bright sunny morning, The baby Looney Tunes were out in the playground having
fun. Tweety was swinging back and forth on the swing, with Sylvester pushing her from
behind. He looked to see a small female kitten wearing a purple bow around her neck.
“She seems new here. Why don’t we go greet her?” Sylvester asked. He and Tweety headed
over to the young kitten. “Hello. Are you new here?” Sylvester asked. The female kitten
looked at the two, and then smiled.
“Yes, I am. I arrived just yesterday. My name’s Sylvia.” The kitten responded. “Well, it’s nice
to meet you, Sylvia. My name’s Sylvester and this is my friend, Tweety.” Sylvester said.
“Come one, Sylvia. We have to go inside now.” Sylvester said, and he and Tweety started
to go inside. Sylvia looked on at the two as they walked away. “Sylvia, let’s hurry!” he
called. Sylvia was surprised, and then smiled.
“I’m coming!” she responded, and immediately followed them inside. In the house, Tweety
playing together with the tow tractor. “Sylvester, would you like to play with me?” Sylvia asked.
“Thanks, Sylvia. But I’m okay with Tweety.” Sylvester responded. Sylvia was sure that they
were more than friends, but they didn’t seem to notice it themselves.
However, things didn’t last long because one day, Tweety had to move out. As she
walked out of the house with her things, Sylvester was the one to follow her. “I’m sorry
you have to leave, Tweety.” Sylvester said. Tweety turned around to face him
and smiled.
“It’s all right. I had a lot of fun playing with you, Sylvester.” Tweety said.
Sylvester nodded, and had an idea. “Tweety, just so you don’t forget
me, I drew this for you.” Sylvester said, and showed a picture of them
standing on opposite sides of a heart while there was writing on
the heart that said ‘Sylvester + Tweety forever.

Online dating
Daffy had introduced me to online dating a few weeks ago. After my divorce with
Sylvania, my wife of 33 shorts, he thought I needed to get back on the horse. So
I created an account on e-Tunnity and waited for results.
After a few days of waiting I got an answer. I looked at the computer with a surprised
realization.
Tweety is a girl.
My longtime companion and I are very good friends in reality. We chase each other
around on screen but when we’re finished shooting, we hang out with Bugs and
Daffy.
Anyway, I messaged Tweety if she would like to go on a date, and she said, “Yes.”
I’m very excited!
When Bugs told me about e-Tunnity I wasn’t enthusiastic. I wasn’t looking for a
relationship, but I signed up anyway.
A few days after signing up, I got a surprise. Sylvester came up as my match. I
have always had a soft spot for Putty tat, but as a romantic interest, I’m not
sure. When he asked me for a date, I thought, “Why not.”
I’ll see what happens.
