Principal’s Address
Another year has come and gone. As we recall
the memories we realize that the goals we have set for
ourselves have been accomplished and that it is now
time to set new goals. We aspire for different aims
that will help us fulfill what is in our inner most being.
And so I ask you to search within you. What is
your purpose? Is it to one day become an educator,
or a doctor or lawyer? All I ask of you is to reach
for your dream. Remain persistent in your endeavors
and you will be successful.
Your journey in life has allowed you to cross
paths with the people that surround you here. Learn
from these individuals what to do or perhaps what not
too. Reminisce about time spent here; but do not repeat mistakes, gain knowledge from them.
Take time to look through the pages of this memory book and as you do, recall the impact your life
has made on each of us, and know that you have
made a difference, that you are valuable, and that you
are worth more that you could ever imagine. Go forward in life with many blessings and forever remember
that you will always be somebody here at Gateway
Academy.

BOLD, DARING, and BRAVE
He stands up to any obstacles that may come his way
The fish that goes against the grain
A man Blessed by GOD
Who fights and who has fought for freedom and liberty
A warrior that fights against tyranny
And knows that pain is weakness leaving the body
A man who doesn’t seek to claim the glory
Who wishes ONLY to LIVE and go HOME and tell the STORY
His family and God are his strength and praise
And gives thanks for each GOD given day
Fighting with pride and dignity for America the beautiful to the end
And forever a soldier that will defend
A government trained and built machine
