3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
The Limpopo province of South Africa is an area of great and
ancient mystique, and with its diversity in both landscape and
attractions is a prefect way to experience a piece of quintessential
Africa. Here you will find ancient baobabs, lush wooded mountain
valleys and scorching bushveld - this is indeed a place of
romance and intrigue. Limpopo, named after the magnificent river
that creates its northern border, lies adjacent to Zimbabwe,
Botswana and Mozambique and it is for this reason that it is
steeped in culture and heritage. Here there are many
archaeological sites that document early advanced civilisations,
including the Mapangubwe.

begins its first swell in Limpopo, and this gorgeous region filled
with water falls, woody slopes, hot mineral springs and serene
mountain scenery is home to some of the country's finest guest
houses. So let the variety and sheer beauty of Limpopo grab
you and entice you to come for many more days of exploration
and experience.

3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
Highly urbanised Gauteng is located in the heart of South Africa's
Highveld. Although it is the smallest province, Gauteng is the
economic powerhouse of South Africa, if not the entire African
continent. This is in no small part due to the area having the
world's richest goldfields, and it is for this reason that Gauteng is
known as Igoli – the Place of Gold. Business and the pursuit of
wealth are the preoccupations of many “Gautengers” but the
province does offer a great deal to the tourist looking for an
authentic African experience. Gauteng is the country's culture and
entertainment capital and the unique multi-cultural and
cosmopolitan city attitudes means that there are numerous
theatres, art galleries, vibey nightclubs, cultural precincts and craft
markets. It is also home to numerous game reserves and
important archaeological sites including the Cradle of Humankind.
Johannesburg is Gauteng 's largest city. Nearby Soweto was the
location of many political skirmishes during the struggle, and
visitors can learn about this legacy at the Apartheid Museum and
the Hector Pieterson Museum. There are lovely bed and breakfast
accommodation places in Soweto, and visitors can make the most
of the township culture by staying the night.

MPUMALANGA
5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS
Mpumalanga, “the place where the sun rises”, lies in the eastern
part of South Africa. Covering an area the size of Belgium and
the Netherlands combined, this province is home to seven
distinct tourism regions that offer visitors a vast range of
experiences from the scenic beauty of the Panoramic Route to
the big game of the Lowveld region. There are rolling hills, lush
wetlands, thorny Lowveld flatlands and chilled mountain river
stocked with trout to experience. One of the great attractions of
Mpumalanga is its close location to the urban centres of
Gauteng, and the Johannesburg International Airport. It is
possible therefore to land in Gauteng and within a few hours be
experiencing big game sightings or enjoy stunning views of the
Lowveld lying hundreds of metres down below!
The star of the Mpumalanga show is undoubtedly the Kruger
National Park, which is on the itinerary of almost every
international visitor to South Africa. The park covers an area of
nearly two million hectares and includes a large variety of flora,
bird life and mammals, including the Big Five – lion, leopard,
buffalo, elephant, and rhino. Outdoor enthusiasts love what
Mpumalanga offers. There is hiking, fly fishing, hot air
ballooning, rock-climbing and mountain biking to just mention a
few action adventures.
